Katwa Nono Katwa 11
1 Nen, niono kadura, nan nuana, alenge na iwa di nanyan Yahudiya lanza alumai tutun nsere uliru Kutelle.
Heard now the apostles and the brothers those being in Judea that also the Gentiles received the word of God.
2 Kubi na Bitrus ndaa Urushalima, inung alenge na idi anan kallu kucuru sughe kayasu;
(and *k) When (also *no) went up Peter to (Jerusalem, *N+kO) were contending with him those of [the] circumcision
3 Iworo “Fe dinsu ligo nin na nan salin kalizu kucuru, umini din su kileo nanghinu!”
saying that (You entered *NK+O) to men uncircumcision having and (you ate with *NK+O) them.
4 Ame Bitrus cizina ubellu nani nimon inda na idi, a woro.
having begun now Peter he was explaining [it] to them in order saying;
5 Meng wadi nlirang nanya kagbiri Njoppa, nta amoro nwui nbellen kukuzun na kuwa tollu, nafo kupee kupash, itoltuna unuzu kitene kani, nin nasari anas, ku da tolo kiti nighe.
I myself was in [the] city of Joppa praying and I saw in a trance a vision descending a vessel certain like a sheet great by four corners being let down out of heaven, and it came down as far as me;
6 nceo iyizi nighe ku, nkpiliza kitene, nyene inawa nabunu anas kutyin, inawa ididia kusho, in wunnu naburi, nan nanyin kitene kani.
On it having looked intently I was observing [it] and I saw the quadrupeds of the earth and the wild beasts and the creeping things and the birds of the air.
7 Nnin lanzu liwui li woroiyi “Fita Bitrus, mollo ulii!”
I heard then (also *no) a voice saying to me; Having risen up Peter, do kill and do eat.
8 Meng woro na nanere ba, Cikilari, bara na imomon nsalin lau sa indinong nsa pira unnu ninghe ba.”
I said however; In no way, Lord; for (every *K) common or unclean nothing ever has entered into the mouth of mine.
9 Ama liwuiye kawa tutun unuzu kitene kane, “Ile imon na Kutelle nbelle idi lau, nafe nwa yiccila inin indinong ba.
Answered however (to me *k) [the] voice for a second [time] out of heaven; What God has cleansed, you yourself not do call unholy.
10 Ile imone wasu nani udu titat, nin nani vat nimone iwa kpilin mun udu kitene kane tutung.
This now happened on three times, and was drawn up again all into heaven.
11 Na nin molu kubi ba, kikane among anit natat, wa yisssin nbun kilare na nwa duku, itoo nani unuzun Kaisariya udak kiti ninghe.
and behold immediately three men stood at the house in which (I was *N+kO) sent from Caesarea to me.
12 Uruhu tayi nnya nanghinu, na nwa su maferuferu kiti mine ba. Nuana nane kutoci ne nya nanmi, udu nanya kilari nniti une.
Told now the Spirit to me to go with them not (having discriminated. *N+kO) Went now with me myself also six brothers these, and we entered into the house of the man.
13 A belle nari yanda na ayene anan kadura Kutelle nanya kilari me, inin woro “Too anit udu Ujoppa idanin Bitrus ulenge na idin yiccughe Simon.
He related (then *N+kO) to us how he had seen the angel in the house of him having stood and having said (to him: *k) do send forth to Joppa (men *K) and do yourself send for Simon who is called Peter,
14 Ame ma liru nanghinu nbellen kadura kanga na ubase utucufe nin vat kilari fe.”
who will speak declarations to you in which will be saved you yourself and all the household of you.
15 Na ncizina uliru nanghinu, Uruhu ulau tolo kitene mine nafo na uwa tolu nghireke nin cizinue.
In then beginning me to speak fell the Spirit Holy upon them, even as also upon us in [the] beginning.
16 Meng lizuno nin lirun Cikilari, na awa woro, “Yuhana ame wa shintizin anit nin nmyen; ama anung ima shintizunu minu nanya Ruhu ulau.”
I remembered then the declaration (of the *no) Lord, how He was saying: John indeed baptized with water, you yourselves however will be baptized with [the] Spirit Holy.
17 Andi Kutelle wa ni nani ufillu nafo na ana ninari kube nati wa yinnin nin Cikilari Yesu Kristi, menghari wadi nworu in yissin gambalang nin Kutelle?”
If then the same gift has given to them God as also to us having believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, I myself (now *k) how was able to forbid God?
18 Na ilanza ile imone, na itardaghe uliru ba, iwana zazin Kutelleri, iworo, “Kutelle nani Awurmi likara nsunu naliapi wang.”
Having heard then these things they were silent and (glorified *N+kO) God saying; Then indeed (indeed *k) also to the Gentiles God repentance unto life has given.
19 Bara nani anan yinnue na iwa sono uniu ulenge na uwa cizin kubin Istifanus wati nani imala kiti vat unuzun Urushalima-alenge na inya ido pit udi duru Ufinikiya. Iwa bellu ubeleng nlirun Yesu kiti na Yahudawari cas, ana umon tutung ba.
Those indeed therefore having been scattered by the tribulation having taken place over Stephen passed through until Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch to no one speaking the word only except solely to Jews.
20 Ama among anit, unuzun Saipirus nin Serene, wadak Antakiya ida su a Hilinawa nin wazin Ciklari Yesu.
Were however some of them men of Cyprus and of Cyrene, who (having come *N+kO) into Antioch were speaking (also *no) to the (Hellenists *NK+o) evangelising [about] the Lord Jesus.
21 Tutung ucaran Cikilari wayita ligowe nanghinu; anit gbardang gitirno iyinna idofino Cikilare ku.
And was [the] hand of [the] Lord with them, [a] great then number (which *no) having believed turned to the Lord;
22 Ubelleng mine da duru atuf nanan kilarin lira in Urushalima; inani wa tuu Barnabas ku udu Antakiya.
Was heard now the report in the ears of the church which (is being *no) in (Jerusalem *N+kO) concerning them and they sent forth Barnabas (to go *NK) as far as Antioch;
23 Na awa dak ada yene ufillu Kutelle, ayi poaghe; anin na nani likara nibinayi nworu iso ligowe nanyan Cikilare nin nibinayi mine vat.
who having come and having seen the grace (which [is] *no) of God he rejoiced and he was exhorting all with resolute purpose of heart to abide (in *o) the Lord;
24 Bara awadi unit ugegeme nin Ruhu ulau a uyinnu sa uyenu ni Yesu, iwase ukpinu nanit gbardang kitin Cikilare.
For he was a man good and full of [the] Spirit Holy and of faith. And was added a crowd large to the Lord.
25 Barnabas tunna anuzu udun Tarsus adi pizuru Shawulu ku.
He went forth then to Tarsus (Barnabas *K) to seek Saul,
26 Na awa seghe, amini wa dak ninghe Antakiya. Uni waso nafo nenge, nanya likus iwa sozo ligowe kilari nlira idursuzo anit gbardang. Iwa cizin uyicu nnono kadure anan dortu Kutelle in Antakiyari.
and having found (him *k) he brought (him *k) to Antioch. It came to pass [that] now (they *N+kO) also a year whole gathering together in the church and teaching a crowd large, Were calling then (first *N+kO) in Antioch the disciples Christians.
27 Nanya nayiri ane among a Anabawa wa dak Antakiya unuzun Urushalima.
In these now days came down from Jerusalem prophets to Antioch;

Having risen up now one of them named Agabus he signified through the Spirit [that] a famine (great *N+kO) to ensue being over all the world — (which *N+kO) (also *k) was in [the time of] Claudius (of Caesar. *K)
29 Bara nani, nono Katwawe tunna iworo ituu nin bunu udu kiti linuana in Yahudiya, nafo na kogha ma yinnu.
And the disciples even as was prospered anyone, determined each of them for ministry to send to the dwelling in Judea brothers;
30 Iwa su nani; itoo nin nikurfung kiti na kukune nacaran Barnabas nin Shawulu.
which also they did having sent [it] to the elders through [the] hand of Barnabas and Saul.
