দ্বিতীয় বিবরণ 21
1 ১ আপোনাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই, যি দেশ অধিকাৰৰ অৰ্থে আপোনাক দিছে, তাৰ পথাৰত যদি কোনো লোকৰ মৃতদেহ পৰি থকা দেখা পোৱা, কিন্তু তাক কোনে হত্যা কৰিলে সেয়ে জনা নাযায়;
If a man is found slain in the land which Jehovah thy God gives thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it not be known who has smitten him,
2 ২ তেতিয়া আপোনালোকৰ মাজৰ বয়জ্যেষ্ঠলোক আৰু বিচাৰকৰ্ত্তাসকল বাহিৰলৈ গৈ, সেই হতহোৱা লোকজনৰ মৃতদেহৰ চাৰিওফালে থকা নগৰবোৰৰ দুৰত্বৰ মাপ ল’ব।
then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth. And they shall measure to the cities which are round about him who is slain,
3 ৩ যেতিয়া আপোনালোকে নিহত ব্যক্তিজনৰ সকলোতকৈ ওচৰত থকা চহৰ খনৰ বিষয়ে জানিব, সেই নগৰৰ বৃদ্ধ লোকসকলে, জাকৰ পৰা এনে এজনী চেঁউৰী গৰু ল’ব যাৰ দ্বাৰাই যুৱলি টনা আদি কোনো কাম কৰোঁৱা নাই।
and it shall be, that the city which is nearest to the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take a heifer of the herd, which has not been worked with, and which has not drawn in the yoke,
4 ৪ পাছত সেই নগৰৰ বৃদ্ধ লোকসকলে চেঁউৰী গৰুজনী লৈ, হাল নোবোৱা, গুটি নিসিচাঁ পানী বৈ থকা এনে উপত্যকালৈ নামি গৈ, সেই উপত্যকাত গৰুজনীৰ ডিঙি বিচ্ছেদ কৰিব।
and the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer to a valley with running water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall break the heifer's neck there in the valley.
5 ৫ আৰু লেবীসকলৰ সন্তান পুৰোহিতসকলো অৱশ্যেই তালৈ যাব; কিয়নো আপোনাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই নিজৰ পৰিচৰ্যা কৰিবলৈ আৰু যিহোৱাৰ নামেৰে আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিবলৈ এই লোকসকলকেই মনোনীত কৰিলে; আৰু তেওঁলোকে বাক্য অনুসাৰে প্ৰত্যেক বিবাদ আৰু আঘাতৰ বিচাৰ নিস্পত্তি কৰিব।
And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near, for Jehovah thy God has chosen them to minister to him, and to bless in the name of Jehovah, and according to their word shall every controversy and every stroke be.
6 ৬ সেই শৱটোৰ ওচৰত থকা নগৰৰ উপত্যকাত আটাই বৃদ্ধসকলে, গৰুজনীৰ দিঙি বিচ্ছেদ কৰাৰ ওপৰত নিজৰ নিজৰ হাত ধুব।
And all the elders of that city, who are nearest to the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley,
and they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.
8 ৮ হে যিহোৱা, তুমি মুক্ত কৰা তোমাৰ প্ৰজা ইস্ৰায়েলক ক্ষমা কৰি, তোমাৰ প্ৰজা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ গাত নিৰ্দোষীৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষ নেপেলাবা।” তাতে তেওঁলোকলৈ সেই ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষ ক্ষমা কৰা হ’ব।
Forgive, O Jehovah, thy people Israel whom thou have redeemed, and allow no innocent blood to remain in the midst of thy people Israel. And the blood shall be forgiven them.
9 ৯ এইদৰে আপোনালোকে যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টিত যি ভাল, তাকেই কৰি আপোনালোকৰ মাজৰ পৰা নিৰ্দ্দোষীৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষ দূৰ কৰিব।
So shall thou put away the innocent blood from the midst of thee when thou shall do that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah.
10 ১০ যেতিয়া আপোনালোকে আপোনালোকৰ শত্রুবোৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ যাব, তেতিয়া আপোনাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই সেই লোকসকলক পৰাস্ত কৰিব আৰু আপোনালোকে শত্রুবোৰক বন্দীকৰি আনিব পাৰিব।
When thou go forth to battle against thine enemies, and Jehovah thy God delivers them into thy hands, and thou carry them away captive,
11 ১১ আৰু সেই বন্দী কৰি অনা লোকসকলৰ মাজত কোনো সুন্দৰী যুৱতীক দেখি মুগ্ধহৈ আপুনি যদি তাইক বিয়া কৰি পত্নী কৰিব খোজে,
and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and thou have a desire for her, and would take her to thee to wife,
then thou shall bring her home to thy house. And she shall shave her head, and pare her nails,
13 ১৩ বন্দী অৱস্থাৰ কাপোৰ সোলোকাই থৈ, আপোনাৰ ঘৰত থাকি বাপেক-মাকৰ কাৰণে পুৰা এমাহ শোক প্রকাশ কৰিব; তাৰ পাছত আপুনি তাইৰ ওচৰলৈ যাব পাৰিব বা তেওঁৰ স্বামী হ’ব, আৰু তাই আপোনাৰ ভাৰ্য্যা হ’ব।
and she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thy house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month. And after that thou shall go in to her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife.
14 ১৪ পাছত যদি আপুনি তেওঁকলৈ সুখী নহয়নো, তেন্তে যি ঠাইলৈ তেওঁ যাবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, সেই ঠাইলৈকে যাবলৈ দিব; কিন্তু কোনো ধন লৈ তাইক নেবেচিব, আপুনি তাইলৈ বেটী বা দাসীৰ নিচিনাকৈ ব্যৱহাৰ নকৰিব, কিয়নো আপুনি তাইক অপদস্থ কৰিলে।
And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shall let her go where she will, but thou shall not sell her at all for money. Thou shall not deal with her harshly, because thou have humbled her.
15 ১৫ যদি কোনো পুৰুষৰ দুগৰাকী ভার্যা থাকে, এগৰাকী তেওঁৰ মৰমৰ আন গৰাকী ঘৃণাৰ। দুয়োগৰাকীয়ে তেওঁলৈ সন্তান জন্ম দিয়ে, কিন্তু বৰ পুতেক যদি ঘৃণাৰ গৰাকীৰ সন্তান হয়;
If a man has two wives, the one beloved, and the other regarded inferior, and they have borne him sons, both the beloved and the one regarded inferior, and if the firstborn son be hers who was regarded inferior,
16 ১৬ তেতিয়া সেই ব্যক্তিয়ে পুতেক কেইজনক সম্পত্তিৰ ভাগকৰা দিনা, ঘৃণাৰ গৰাকীৰ পৰা হোৱা বৰ পুতেক থাকোঁতে, তেওঁ মৰমৰ গৰাকীৰ পুতেকক জ্যেষ্ঠাধিকাৰ দিব নোৱাৰিব।
then it shall be, in the day that he causes his sons to inherit that which he has, that he may not make the son of the beloved the firstborn before the son of the one regarded inferior, who is the firstborn.
17 ১৭ কিন্তু অৱশ্যেই তেওঁ সকলো সম্পত্তিৰ দুভাগ দি এলাগীজনীৰ পুতেককে বৰ-পো বুলি স্বীকাৰ কৰিব। কাৰণ সেই সন্তান তেওঁৰ প্ৰথম সন্তান। প্রথমে জন্মপোৱা হিচাবে সমস্ত জ্যেষ্ঠাধিকাৰ তেওঁৰ আছে।
But he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the one regarded inferior, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength. The right of the firstborn is his.
18 ১৮ কোনো এজন মাক-বোপেকৰ যদি জেদী ও বিৰোধী বা মাক দেউতাকৰ কথা নুশুনা আৰু শাস্তি দিলেও তেওঁলোকৰ কথা শুনিবলৈ অস্বীকাৰ কৰা ল’ৰা, কোনো মানুহৰ থাকিলে;
If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son, who will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and, though they chasten him, will not hearken to them,
19 ১৯ সেই ল’ৰা জনৰ বাপেক-মাকে তেওঁক ধৰি, নিজৰ নগৰৰ বয়জ্যেষ্ঠসকলৰ ওচৰলৈ আৰু তেওঁলোকে নিবাস কৰা নগৰৰ দুৱাৰ-মুখলৈ লৈ আহিব।
then his father and his mother shall lay hold on him, and bring him out to the elders of his city, and to the gate of his place.
20 ২০ নগৰৰ বয়জ্যেষ্ঠ লোকসকলক ক’ব “আমাৰ এই লৰাটি অবাধ্য আৰু বিৰোধী, আমাৰ কথা নুশুনে, তেওঁ অপব্যয়ী আৰু মদপী।”
And they shall say to the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice. He is a glutton, and a drunkard.
21 ২১ তেতিয়া ল’ৰাজন নিবাস কৰা নগৰৰ সকলো লোকে ল’ৰা জনক শিল দলিয়াই বধ কৰিব। এইদৰে আপোনালোকে আপোনালোকৰ মাজৰ পৰা দুষ্টতা দূৰ কৰিব। তাতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকলে এই বিষয়ে শুনি ভয় পাব।
And all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones. So thou shall put away the evil from the midst of thee, and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
22 ২২ পাছত কোনো মানুহে যদি প্ৰাণ দণ্ডৰ যোগ্য পাপ কৰে আৰু তেওঁৰ প্ৰাণদণ্ড হয়; তেওঁৰ মৃত দেহতো এডাল গছত আঁৰি ৰাখিব;
And if a man has committed a sin worthy of death, and he be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree,
23 ২৩ কিন্তু তেওঁৰ মৃতদেহটো ৰাতি গছডালৰ ওপৰতে ৰাখি নথব; বৰং একেদিনাই দেহটো পুতি পেলাব। কিয়নো যি জনৰ শৱ আঁৰি থোৱা হয় তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ অভিশপ্ত। সেই কাৰণেই আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই অধিকাৰৰ অৰ্থে যি দেশ আপোনালোকক দিবলৈ গৈছে, আপোনালোকে সেই দেশ অশুচি নকৰিব।
his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shall surely bury him the same day, for he who is hanged is accursed of God, that thou not defile thy land which Jehovah thy God gives thee for an inheritance.
