1 ১ এর পরে পৌল ও বার্ণবা ইকনিয়ে ইহুদীদের সমাজঘরে প্রবেশ করলেন এবং এমন স্পষ্টভাবে কথা বললেন যে, যিহূদী ও গ্রীকদের মধ্যে অনেকে বিশ্বাস করল।
It came to pass now in Iconium according to the same entering they into the synagogue of the Jews and speaking so that to believe of Jews both and Greeks a great number.
2 ২ কিন্তু যে ইহুদীরা অবাধ্য হলো, তারা ভাইদের বিরুদ্ধে অযিহূদীর লোকেদের প্রাণ উত্তেজিত ও ক্ষেপিয়ে তুলল।
The however (disobeying *N+kO) Jews stirred up and they poisoned the minds of the Gentiles against the brothers.
3 ৩ সুতরাং তাঁরা আরোও অনেকদিন সেখানে থাকলেন, সাহসের সঙ্গে এবং প্রভুর শক্তির সঙ্গে কথা বলতেন; আর তিনি প্রভুর অনুগ্রহের কথা বলতেন এবং প্রভুও পৌল এবং বার্ণবার হাত দিয়ে বিভিন্ন চিহ্ন এবং আশ্চর্য্য কাজ করতেন।
A long indeed therefore time they stayed speaking boldly about the Lord who is bearing witness (to *n) the word of the grace of Him, (and *k) granting signs and wonders to be done through the hands of them.
Was divided now the multitude of the city, and some indeed were with the Jews, some however with the apostles.
5 ৫ তখন অযিহূদীর ও ইহুদীদের কিছু লোকেরা তাদের নেতাদের সঙ্গে যুক্তি পরামর্শ করে, তাঁদের অপমান ও পাথর মারার পরিকল্পনা করল।
When then there was a rush of the Gentiles both and Jews with the rulers of them to mistreat and to stone them,
6 ৬ তাঁরা তাদের পরিকল্পনা বুঝতে পেরে লুকায়নিয়া দেশের, লুস্ত্রা ও দর্বী শহরে এবং তার চারপাশের অঞ্চলে পালিয়ে গেলেন;
having become aware they fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe and the surrounding region,
and there and there evangelising they were continuing.
8 ৮ লুস্ত্রায় একজন ব্যক্তি বসে থাকতেন, তার দাঁড়ানোর কোনোও শক্তি ছিল না, সে জন্ম থেকেই খোঁড়া, কখনোও হাঁটা চলা করে নি।
And a certain man crippled in Lystra in the feet was sitting, lame from [the] womb of [the] mother of him (being *k) who never (walked. *N+kO)
9 ৯ সেই ব্যক্তি পৌলের কথা শুনছিলেন; পৌল তার দিকে একভাবে তাকালেন, ও দেখতে পেলেন সুস্থ হবার জন্য তার বিশ্বাস আছে,
This [man] (heard *N+kO) Paul speaking, who having looked intently at him and having seen that he has faith to be healed,
10 ১০ তিনি উঁচুস্বরে তাকে বললেন, তোমার পায়ে ভর দিয়ে সোজা হয়ে দাঁড়াও; তবে সে লাফ দিয়ে দাঁড়াল ও হাঁটতে লাগলো।
said in a loud voice; do stand on the feet of you (upright! *NK+o) And (he sprang up *N+kO) and was walking.
11 ১১ পৌল যা করলেন, তা দেখে লোকেরা লুকানীয় ভাষায় উঁচুস্বরে বলতে লাগল, দেবতারা মানুষ রূপ নিয়ে আমাদের মধ্যে এসেছে।
(And *N+kO) the crowds having seen what did Paul lifted up the voice of them in Lycaonian saying; The gods having become like as men have come down to us;
They were calling then (one *k) Barnabas Zeus, other Paul Hermes, because he himself was the leading speaker.
13 ১৩ এবং শহরের সামনে দ্যুপিতরের যে মন্দির ছিল, তার যাজক (পুরোহিত) কয়েকটা ষাঁড় ও মালা নিয়ে শহরের মূল দরজার সামনে লোকেদের সঙ্গে বলিদান করতে চাইল।
(And *N+kO) the priest of Zeus who is being just outside the city (of them *k) oxen and wreaths to the gates having brought with the crowds was desiring to sacrifice.
14 ১৪ কিন্তু প্রেরিতরা, বার্ণবা ও পৌল, একথা শুনে তাঁরা নিজের বস্ত্র ছিঁড়লেন এবং দৌড়ে বাইরে গিয়ে লোকেদের উদ্দেশ্যে বললেন,
Having heard however the apostles Barnabas and Paul having torn the garments (of them *NK+o) (rushed out *N+kO) into the crowd crying out
15 ১৫ মহাশয়েরা, আপনারা এমন কেন করছেন? আমরাও আপনাদের মত সম সুখদুঃখভোগী মানুষ; আমরা আপনাদের এই সুসমাচার জানাতে এসেছি যে, এই সব অসার বস্তু থেকে জীবন্ত ঈশ্বরের কাছে আসুন, যিনি আকাশ, পৃথিবী, সমুদ্র, ও সমুদ্রের মধ্যে যা কিছু আছে সে সমস্তই সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
and saying; Men, why these things do you? Also we ourselves of like nature are with you men, evangelising to you from these vanities to turn to God (who *k) is living, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the [things] in them,
who in the having past generations allowed all the nations to go in the ways of them;
17 ১৭ কিন্তু তবুও তিনি নিজেকে প্রকাশিত রাখলেন, তিনি মঙ্গল করেছেন, আকাশ থেকে আপনাদের বৃষ্টি এবং ফল উৎপন্নকারী ঋতু দিয়ে ফসল দিয়েছেন ও আনন্দে আপনাদের হৃদয় পরিপূর্ণ করেছেন।
(and yet and yet *N+kO) not without witness (Himself *N+kO) He has left (doing good, *N+kO) from heaven (to you *N+KO) rains giving and seasons fruitful, filling with food and gladness the hearts (of you. *N+KO)
18 ১৮ এই সব কথা বলে পৌল এবং বার্ণবা অনেক কষ্টে তাঁদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলি উৎসর্গ করা থেকে লোকেদের থামালেন।
And these things saying hardly they stopped the crowds not sacrificing to them.
19 ১৯ কিন্তু আন্তিয়খিয়া ও ইকনিয় থেকে কয়েক জন যিহূদী এলো; তারা লোকেদের ইন্ধন দিল এবং লোকেরা পৌলকে পাথর মারলো এবং তাঁকে শহরের বাইরে টেনে নিয়ে গেল, কারণ তারা মনে করল, তিনি মারা গেছেন।
Came however from Antioch and Iconium Jews, and having persuaded the crowds and having stoned Paul they were dragging [him] outside the city (supposing *N+kO) him (to have died. *N+kO)
20 ২০ কিন্তু শিষ্যরা তাঁর চারিদিকে ঘিরে দাঁড়াতে তিনি উঠে শহরের মধ্যে প্রবেশ করলেন। পরে তিনি বার্ণবার সঙ্গে দর্বী শহরে চলে গেলেন।
When were sorrounding however the disciples him having risen up he entered into the city And on the next day he went away with Barnabas to Derbe.
21 ২১ তাঁরা সেই শহরে সুসমাচার প্রচার করলেন এবং অনেক লোক প্রভুর শিষ্য হলো। তাঁরা লুস্ত্রা থেকে ইকনিয়ে, ও আন্তিয়খিয়ায় ফিরে গেলেন;
Having evangelised then the city that and having discipled many they returned to Lystra and (to *no) Iconium and (to *no) Antioch;
22 ২২ তাঁরা সেই অঞ্চলের শিষ্যদের প্রাণে শক্তি যোগালেন এবং তাদের ভরসা দিলেন, যেন তারা বিশ্বাসে স্থির থাকে। এবং তাঁরা তাদের বললেন আমাদের অনেক কষ্টের মধ্য দিয়ে ঈশ্বরের রাজ্যে প্রবেশ করতে হবে।
strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting [them] to continue in the faith and that through many tribulations it behooves us to enter into the kingdom of God.
23 ২৩ যখন তাঁরা তাদের জন্য প্রত্যেক মণ্ডলীতে প্রাচীনদের নিয়োগ করলেন এবং উপবাস ও প্রার্থনা করলেন এবং যারা প্রভুকে বিশ্বাস করেছিলেন তাদের প্রভুর হাতে সমর্পণ করলেন।
Having chosen now for them in every church elders, having prayed with fasting they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
And having passed through Pisidia they came to Pamphylia,
and having spoken in Perga the word they went down to Attalia;
26 ২৬ এবং সেখান থেকে জাহাজে করে আন্তিয়খিয়ায় চলে গেলেন, যে কাজ তাঁরা শেষ করলেন, সেই কাজের জন্য বিশ্বাসীরা তাঁদের এই স্থানেই ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহের কাছে নিজেদের সমর্পণ করেছিলেন।
And from there And from there they sailed to Antioch, from where they had committed to the grace of God for the work that they had fulfilled.
27 ২৭ তাঁরা যখন ফিরে আসলেন, ও মণ্ডলীকে এক করলেন এবং ঈশ্বর তাঁদের দিয়ে যে সমস্ত কাজ করেছিলেন ও কিভাবে অযিহূদীর লোকেদের জন্য বিশ্বাসের দরজা খুলে দিয়েছেন, সে সব কথা তাদের বিস্তারিত জানালেন।
Having arrived now and having gathered together the church (they were declaring *N+kO) how much did God with them and that He had opened to the Gentiles a door of faith.
They were remaining then (there *k) time no little with the disciples.
