লুক 10
1 ১ এর পরে প্রভু আরও সত্তর জনকে নিযুক্ত করলেন, আর তিনি যেখানে যেখানে যাবেন বলে ঠিক করতেন, সেই সমস্ত শহরে ও জায়গায় তাঁর যাওয়ার আগে দুই জন দুই জন করে তাদের পাঠালেন।
And, after these things, the Lord appointed seventy two others, and sent them forth, two and two before his face, into every city and place whither, he himself, was about to come.
2 ২ তিনি তাদের বললেন, “ফসল প্রচুর বটে, কিন্তু কাটার লোক অল্প, এই জন্য ফসলের মালিকের কাছে প্রার্থনা কর, যেন তিনি নিজের শস্য ক্ষেত্রে লোক পাঠিয়ে দেন।”
And he was saying unto them—The harvest, indeed, is, great, but, the labourers, few; beg ye, therefore, of the Lord of the harvest, that he would thrust forth, labourers, into his harvest.
Withdraw! Lo! I send you forth as lambs amid wolves.
Be not carrying purse, or satchel, or sandals, and, no one along the road, salute ye;
And, into whatsoever house ye enter, First, say, Peace to this house!
6 ৬ আর সেখানে যদি শান্তির সন্তান থাকে, তবে তোমাদের শান্তি তার সঙ্গে থাকবে, না হলে তোমাদের কাছে ফিরে আসবে।
And, if the son of peace be, there, your peace, shall rest upon it; but, otherwise, at least, unto you, shall it return.
7 ৭ আর সেই বাড়িতেই থেকো এবং তারা যা দেয়, তাই খেও ও পান কোর, কারণ কর্মচারী তার বেতনের যোগ্য! এক বাড়ি থেকে অন্য বাড়িতে যেও না।
And, in the self-same house, abide ye, eating and drinking such things as they have; for, worthy, is the labourer, of his hire: be not removing from house to house.
8 ৮ আর তোমরা যে কোন শহরে প্রবেশ কর, লোকেরা যদি তোমাদের গ্রহণ করে, তবে যা তোমাদের সামনে খাওয়ার জন্য রাখা হবে, তাই খেও।
And, into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they bid you welcome, be eating such things as are set before you;
And be curing the sick that are, therein, and be saying unto them—The kingdom of God hath drawn nigh upon you.
10 ১০ কিন্তু তোমরা যে কোন শহরে প্রবেশ কর, লোকে যদি তোমাদেরকে গ্রহণ না করে, তবে বের হয়ে সেই শহরের রাস্তায় রাস্তায় গিয়ে এই কথা বলো,
But, into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they do not welcome you, going forth into the broadways thereof, say ye:
11 ১১ তোমাদের শহরের যে ধূলো আমাদের পায়ে লেগেছে, তাও তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে ঝেড়ে দিই, কিন্তু এটা জেনে রাখো যে, ঈশ্বরের রাজ্য খুব কাছে এসে পড়েছে।
Even the dust that cleaveth unto us, out of your city, unto our feet, do we wipe off against you; nevertheless, of this, be taking notice—The kingdom of God hath drawn near.
I tell you, for them of Sodom, in that day, more tolerable, will it be, than for that city.
13 ১৩ কোরাসীন, ধিক তোমাকে! বৈৎসদা, ধিক তোমাকে! কারণ তোমাদের মধ্যে যে সব অলৌকিক কাজ করা হয়েছে, সে সব যদি সোর ও সীদোনে করা যেত, তবে অনেকদিন আগে তারা চট পরে ছাইয়ে বসে মন ফেরাত।
Alas for thee, Chorazin! Alas for thee, Bethsaida! Because, if, in Tyre and Zidon, had been done the works of power which have been down in you, of old, in sackcloth and ashes sitting, they would have repented.
Moreover, for Tyre and Zidon, more tolerable, will it be, in the judgment, than, for you.
And, thou, Capernaum, —Unto heaven, shalt thou be uplifted? …Unto hades, thou shalt be brought down! (Hadēs g86)
16 ১৬ যে তোমাদের মানে, সে আমাকেই মানে এবং যে তোমাদের অগ্রাহ্য করে, সে আমাকেই অগ্রাহ্য করে আর যে আমাকে অগ্রাহ্য করে, সে তাঁকেই অগ্রাহ্য করে, যিনি আমাকে পাঠিয়েছেন।
He that hearkeneth unto you, unto me, doth hearken, and, he that setteth you aside, doth set, me, aside; and, he that setteth, me, aside, doth set aside, him that sent me.
And the seventy [-two] returned, with joy, saying—Lord! even the demons, submit themselves unto us, in thy name!
And he said unto them—I was beholding Satan, when, like lightning, out of heaven, he fell!
19 ১৯ দেখ, আমি তোমাদের সাপ ও বিছাকে পায়ে মাড়াবে এবং শত্রুর সমস্ত শক্তির উপরে কর্তৃত্ব করার ক্ষমতা দিয়েছি। কিছুই কোন মতে তোমাদের ক্ষতি করবে না,
Lo! I have given you the authority—to be treading upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and, nothing, unto you, shall in anywise do harm;
20 ২০ কিন্তু ভূতেরা যে তোমাদের বশীভূত হয় এতে আনন্দ কর না, কিন্তু তোমাদের নাম যে স্বর্গে লেখা আছে, তাতে আনন্দ কর।”
Notwithstanding, in this, be not rejoicing—that, the spirits, unto you submit themselves; but be rejoicing—that, your names, are inscribed in the heavens!
21 ২১ সেই দিন তিনি পবিত্র আত্মায় আনন্দিত হলেন ও বললেন, “হে পিতা, হে স্বর্গের ও পৃথিবীর প্রভু, আমি তোমার প্রশংসা করছি, কারণ তুমি জ্ঞানবান ও বুদ্ধিমানদের থেকে এইসব বিষয় গোপন রেখে শিশুদের কাছে প্রকাশ করেছ।
In the self-same hour, exulted he in the Holy Spirit, and said—I openly give praise unto thee, Father! Lord of heaven and earth! in that thou hast hid these things from the wise and discerning, and hast revealed them unto babes, —Yea, O Father! that, so, hath it become, a delight, before thee.
22 ২২ সব কিছুই আমার পিতার মাধ্যমে আমাকে সমর্পণ করা হয়েছে এবং পুত্র কে, তা কেউ জানে না, একমাত্র পিতা জানেন, আর পিতা কে, তা কেউ জানেন না, শুধুমাত্র পুত্র জানেন, আর পুত্র যার কাছে তাঁকে প্রকাশ করতে ইচ্ছা করে, সে জানে।”
All things, unto me, have been delivered up by my Father; and, no one, knoweth, who the Son is, save the Father, —and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son may be minded to reveal him.
23 ২৩ পরে তিনি শিষ্যদের দিকে ফিরে তাদের গোপনে বললেন, “ধন্য সেই সমস্ত চোখ, তোমরা যা যা দেখছ, যারা তা দেখে।”
And, turning unto his disciples, privately, he said—Happy, the eyes, that see what ye see!
24 ২৪ কারণ আমি তোমাদের বলছি, “তোমরা যা যা দেখছ, সে সব অনেক ভাববাদী ও রাজা দেখতে ইচ্ছা করলেও দেখতে পায়নি এবং তোমরা যা যা শুনছ, তা তাঁরা শুনতে ইচ্ছা করলেও শুনতে পায়নি।”
For I tell you, Many prophets and kings, have desired to see what, ye, see, and they saw not, and to hear what ye hear, and they heard not.
25 ২৫ আর দেখ, একজন ব্যবস্থার গুরু এসে তাঁর পরীক্ষা করার জন্য বলল, হে গুরু অনন্ত জীবন পেতে হোলে আমাকে কি কি করতে হবে? (aiōnios g166)
And lo! a certain lawyer, arose, putting him to the test, saying—Teacher! by doing what, shall I inherit, life age-abiding? (aiōnios g166)
And, he, said unto him—In the law, what is written? how dost thou read?
27 ২৭ সে উত্তরে বলল, “তুমি তোমার সমস্ত হৃদয়, তোমার সমস্ত প্রাণ, তোমার সমস্ত শক্তি ও তোমার সমস্ত মন দিয়ে তোমার ঈশ্বর প্রভুকে ভালবাসবে এবং তোমার প্রতিবেশীকে নিজের মত ভালবাসবে।”
And, he, answering, said—Thou shalt love the Lord thy God, out of all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might, and with all thine intention; and thy neighbour, as thyself?
And he said unto him—Rightly, hast thou answered: This, do, and thou shalt live.
But, he, wishing to justify himself, said unto Jesus—And, who is, my, neighbour?
30 ৩০ এই কথায় যীশু বললেন, “এক ব্যক্তি যিরুশালেম থেকে যিরীহোর দিকে নেমে যাচ্ছিলেন, এমন দিনের সে ডাকাতদের হাতে পড়ল, তারা তার পোশাক খুলে নিল এবং তাকে মেরে আধমরা করে ফেলে চলে গেল।”
And taking up [the question], Jesus said—A certain man, was going down from Jerusalem unto Jericho, and, with robbers, fell in, —who, stripping him, and inflicting, wounds, upon him, departed, leaving him, half dead.
And, by chance, a certain priest, was coming down by that road, and, seeing him, passed by, on the opposite side.
And, in like manner, a Levite also, coming down to the place, and seeing him, passed by, on the opposite side.
But, a certain Samaritan, going on his journey, came down to him, and, seeing him, was moved with compassion;
34 ৩৪ এবং কাছে গিয়ে তেল ও আঙ্গুরের রস ঢেলে দিয়ে তার ক্ষত জায়গাগুলো বেঁধে দিল, পরে তার পশুর উপরে তাকে বসিয়ে এক সরাইখানায় নিয়ে গেল ও তার যত্ন করল।
and, coming near, bound up his bruises, pouring thereon oil and wine, —and, setting him on his own beast, brought him into an inn, and took care of him.
35 ৩৫ পরের দিন দুটি দিনারী বের করে সরাইখানার মালিককে দিয়ে বলল, “এই ব্যক্তির যত্ন করো, যদি বেশি কিছু ব্যয় হয়, আমি যখন ফিরে আসব, তখন শোধ করব।”
And, on the morrow, throwing out two denaries, he gave them to the inn-keeper, and said—Take care of him, and, whatsoever thou shall further spend, I, when on my way back, will duly pay thee.
Which of these three, seemeth unto thee to have become, neighbour, unto him who fell among the robbers?
And, he, said—He who dealt mercifully with him. And Jesus said unto him—Be taking thy journey, and, thou, be doing, in like manner.
38 ৩৮ আর যখন তাঁরা যাচ্ছিলেন, তিনি কোন একটা গ্রামে প্রবেশ করলেন, আর মার্থা নামে এক মহিলার বাড়িতে তিনি আতিথ্য গ্রহণ করলেন।
And, as they were journeying, he, entered into a certain village; and, a certain woman, named Martha, welcomed him into her house.
And, she, had a sister, called Mary, who also, seating herself at the feet of the Lord, was hearing his word.
40 ৪০ কিন্তু মার্থা খাবার তৈরির কাজে বেশি ব্যতিব্যস্ত ছিলেন, আর তিনি কাছে এসে বললেন, “প্রভু, আপনি কি কিছু মনে করছেন না যে, আমার বোন সমস্ত কাজের ভার একা আমার উপরে ফেলে রেখেছে? অতএব ওকে বলুন, যেন আমার সাহায্য করে।”
But, Martha, was distracted about much ministering, and, coming near, said—Lord! carest thou not that, my sister, hath left me to be ministering, alone? Speak to her, then, that she help me.
But the Lord, answering, said to her—Martha! Martha! thou art anxious and troubled about many things:
42 ৪২ কিন্তু অল্প কয়েকটি বিষয়, বরং একটি মাত্র বিষয় প্রয়োজন, কাজেই মরিয়ম সেই উত্তম বিষয়টি মনোনীত করেছে, যা তার কাছ থেকে নেওয়া যাবে না।”
Of few things, is there need, or, of one; Mary, in fact, hath chosen, the good part, —one which shall not be taken away from her.
