গীতসংহিতা 128

1 ১ আরোহণ-গীত। ধন্য প্রত্যেকে যে সদাপ্রভুুকে সম্মান করে, যে তাঁর পথে চলে।

(Happy are/Yahweh is pleased with) those of you who revere him and do what he wants you to do [IDM].

2 ২ তোমার হাত যোগান দেবে, তুমি আনন্দ করবে; তুমি ধন্য হবে এবং উন্নতি লাভ করবে।

You will [be able to earn the money] that you [MTY] need to buy food; you will be happy and you will be prosperous.

3 ৩ তোমার ঘরের ভেতরে তোমার স্ত্রী ফলবতী দ্রাক্ষালতার মতো হবে; তোমার শিশুরা জিত বৃক্ষের চারার মতো হবে তারা টেবিলের চারদিকে বসবে।

Your wife will be like a grapevine that bears many grapes [SIM]; she will give birth to many children. Your children who sit around your table will be like a strong olive [tree that has many] shoots [growing up around it] [SIM].

4 ৪ হ্যাঁ, অবশ্যই, মানুষটি ধন্য হবে যে সদাপ্রভুুকে সম্মান করে।

Every man who reveres Yahweh will be blessed like that.

5 ৫ সদাপ্রভুু সিয়োন থেকে আমাকে আশীর্বাদ করুন, যেন তুমি সারাজীবন ধরে যিরুশালেমের উন্নতি দেখতে পাও।

I wish/hope that Yahweh will bless all of you from [where he dwells] (on Zion [Hill]/[in Jerusalem]) and that you will see [the people of] Jerusalem prospering every day that you live!

6 ৬ তোমার সন্তানদের বংশ দেখতে পাও। ইস্রায়েলের উপরে শান্তি হোক।

I desire that you will live many years, long enough to see your grandchildren. I desire/hope that things will go well for [the people in] Israel!
