1 লেবির ছেলেরা: গের্শোন, কহাৎ ও মরারি।

The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kehath, and Merari.

2 কহাতের ছেলেরা: অম্রাম, যিষ্‌হর, হিব্রোণ ও উষীয়েল।

And the sons of Kehath: 'Amram, Yizhar, and Chebron, and 'Uzziel.

3 অম্রামের সন্তানেরা: হারোণ, মোশি ও মরিয়ম। হারোণের ছেলেরা: নাদব, অবীহূ, ইলীয়াসর ও ঈথামর।

And the children of 'Amram: Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, El'azar, and Ithamar.

4 ইলীয়াসর পীনহসের বাবা, পীনহস অবিশূয়ের বাবা,

El'azar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua',

5 অবিশূয় বুক্কির বাবা, বুক্কি উষির বাবা,

And Abishua' begat Bukki, and Bukki begat 'Uzzi,

6 উষি সরহিয়ের বাবা, সরহিয় মরায়োতের বাবা,

And 'Uzzi begat Zerachyah, and Zerachyah begat Merayoth,

7 মরায়োত অমরিয়ের বাবা, অমরিয় অহীটূবের বাবা,

Merayoth begat Amaryah, and Amaryah begat Achitub,

8 অহীটূব সাদোকের বাবা, সাদোক অহীমাসের বাবা,

And Achitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Achima'az,

9 অহীমাস অসরিয়ের বাবা, অসরিয় যোহাননের বাবা,

And Achima'az begat 'Azaryah, and 'Azaryah begat Jochanan,

10 যোহানন অসরিয়ের বাবা। শলোমন জেরুশালেমে যে মন্দির নির্মাণ করেছিলেন, অসরিয় সেখানেই যাজকরূপে সেবাকাজ করতেন।

And Jochanan begat 'Azaryah, he it is that officiated as priest in the house that Solomon had built in Jerusalem;

11 অসরিয় অমরিয়ের বাবা, অমরিয় অহীটূবের বাবা,

And 'Azaryah begat Amaryah, and Amaryah begat Achitub,

12 অহীটূব সাদোকের বাবা, সাদোক শল্লুমের বাবা,

And Achitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,

13 শল্লুম হিল্কিয়ের বাবা, হিল্কিয় অসরিয়ের বাবা,

And Shallum begat Chilkiyah, and Chilkiyah begat 'Azaryah,

14 অসরিয় সরায়ের বাবা, সরায় যোষাদকের বাবা

And 'Azaryah begat Serayah, and Serayah begat Jehozadak,

15 সদাপ্রভু যখন নেবুখাদনেজারের হাত দিয়ে যিহূদা ও জেরুশালেমকে নির্বাসনে পাঠালেন, তখন এই যোষাদকও নির্বাসিত হলেন।

And Jehozadak went away, when the Lord carried Judah and Jerusalem into exile through the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 লেবির ছেলেরা: গের্শোন, কহাৎ ও মরারি।

The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kehath, and Merari.

17 গের্শোনের ছেলেদের নাম এইরকম: লিব্‌নি ও শিমিয়ি।

And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni, and Shim'i.

18 কহাতের ছেলেরা: অম্রাম, যিষ্‌হর, হিব্রোণ ও উষীয়েল।

And the sons of Kehath were, 'Amram, and Yizhar, and Chebron, and 'Uzziel.

19 মরারির ছেলেরা: মহলি ও মূশি। পূর্বপুরুষদের কুলানুসারে এরাই লেবীয়দের নথিভুক্ত বংশধর:

The sons of Merari: Machli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.

20 গের্শোনের: তাঁর ছেলে লিব্‌নি, তাঁর ছেলে যহৎ, তাঁর ছেলে সিম্ম,

Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jachath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 তাঁর ছেলে যোয়াহ, তাঁর ছেলে ইদ্দো, তাঁর ছেলে সেরহ এবং তাঁর ছেলে যিয়ত্রয়।

Yoach his son, 'Iddo his son, Zerach his son, Yeatherai his son.

22 কহাতের বংশধরেরা: তাঁর ছেলে অম্মীনাদব, তাঁর ছেলে কোরহ, তাঁর ছেলে অসীর,

The sons of Kehath: 'Amminadab his son, Korach his son, Assir his son,

23 তাঁর ছেলে ইল্‌কানা, তাঁর ছেলে ইবীয়াসফ, তাঁর ছেলে অসীর,

Elkanah his son, and Ebyassaph his son, and Assir his son,

24 তাঁর ছেলে তহৎ, তাঁর ছেলে ঊরীয়েল, তাঁর ছেলে উষিয় ও তাঁর ছেলে শৌল।

Tachath his son, Uriel his son, 'Uzziyah his son, and Saul his son.

25 ইল্‌কানার বংশধরেরা: অমাসয়, অহীমোৎ,

And the sons of Elkanah: 'Amassai, and Achimoth,

26 তাঁর ছেলে ইল্‌কানা, তাঁর ছেলে সোফী, তাঁর ছেলে নহৎ,

[And] Elkanah. The sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nachath his son.

27 তাঁর ছেলে ইলীয়াব, তাঁর ছেলে যিরোহম, তাঁর ছেলে ইল্‌কানা ও তাঁর ছেলে শমূয়েল।

Eliab his son, Jerocham his son, Elkanah his son.

28 শমূয়েলের ছেলেরা: বড়ো ছেলে যোয়েল ও দ্বিতীয় ছেলে অবিয়।

And the sons of Samuel: the first-born Vashni, and Abiyah.

29 মরারির বংশধরেরা: মহলি, তাঁর ছেলে লিব্‌নি, তাঁর ছেলে শিমিয়ি, তাঁর ছেলে উষ,

The sons of Merari: Machli, Libni his son, Shim'i his son, 'Uzzah his son,

30 তাঁর ছেলে শিমিয়, তাঁর ছেলে হগিয়, তাঁর ছেলে অসায়।

Shim'a his son, Chaggiyah his son, 'Assayah his son.

31 নিয়ম-সিন্দুকটি সদাপ্রভুর গৃহে বিশ্রামস্থান লাভের পর দাউদ সেই গৃহে গানবাজনা করার দায়িত্ব যাদের হাতে তুলে দিলেন, তারা এইসব লোক।

And these are those whom David appointed for the purpose of conducting the singing in the house of the Lord, after the ark had a resting-place.

32 যতদিন না শলোমন জেরুশালেমে সদাপ্রভুর মন্দির নির্মাণ করলেন, ততদিন তারা সমাগম তাঁবুর, সেই সমাগম তাঁবুর সামনে গানবাজনা সমেত পরিচর্যা করে গেলেন। তাদের জন্য নিরূপিত নিয়মানুসারে তারা তাদের কর্তব্য পালন করে যেতেন।

And they ministered before the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation with singing, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they acted according to their prescribed manner in their service.

33 এরা সেইসব লোক, যারা তাদের ছেলেদের সঙ্গে নিয়ে সেবাকাজ করে গেলেন: কহাতীয়দের মধ্যে থেকে: গায়ক হেমন, তিনি যোয়েলের ছেলে, তিনি শমূয়েলের ছেলে,

And these are those that so acted with their sons. Of the sons of the Kehathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

34 তিনি ইল্‌কানার ছেলে, তিনি যিরোহমের ছেলে, তিনি ইলীয়েলের ছেলে, তিনি তোহের ছেলে,

The son of Elkanah, the son of Jerocham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toach,

35 তিনি সূফের ছেলে, তিনি ইল্‌কানার ছেলে, তিনি মাহতের ছেলে, তিনি অমাসয়ের ছেলে,

The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Machath, the son of 'Amassai,

36 তিনি ইল্‌কানার ছেলে, তিনি যোয়েলের ছেলে, তিনি অসরিয়ের ছেলে, তিনি সফনিয়ের ছেলে,

The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of 'Azaryah, the son of Zephanyah,

37 তিনি তহতের ছেলে, তিনি অসীরের ছেলে, তিনি ইবীয়াসফের ছেলে, তিনি কোরহের ছেলে,

The son of Tachath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebyassaph, the son of Korach,

The son of Yizhar, the son of Kehath, the son at Levi, the son of Israel.

And his relative Assaph was he, who stood on his right hand, [even] Assaph the son of Berachyah, the son of Shim'a,

The son of Michael, the son of Ba'asseyah, the son of Malkiyah,

41 তিনি ইৎনির ছেলে, তিনি সেরহের ছেলে, তিনি অদায়ার ছেলে,

The son of Ethni, the son of Zerach, the son of 'Adayah.

42 তিনি এথনের ছেলে, তিনি সিম্মের ছেলে, তিনি শিমিয়ির ছেলে,

The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shim'i,

43 তিনি যহতের ছেলে, তিনি গের্শোনের ছেলে, তিনি লেবির ছেলে;

The son of Jachath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

44 এবং তাদের সহকর্মীদের মধ্যে থেকে, মরারীয়রা তাঁর বাঁদিকে দাঁড়াতেন: এথন কীশির ছেলে, তিনি অব্দির ছেলে, তিনি মল্লুকের ছেলে,

And their brethren the sons of Merari [stood] on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of 'Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45 তিনি হশবিয়ের ছেলে, তিনি অমৎসিয়ের ছেলে, তিনি হিল্কিয়ের ছেলে,

The son of Chashabyah, the son of Amazyah, the son of Chilkiyah,

46 তিনি অমসির ছেলে, তিনি বানির ছেলে, তিনি শেমরের ছেলে,

The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,

47 তিনি মহলির ছেলে, তিনি মূশির ছেলে, তিনি মরারির ছেলে, তিনি লেবির ছেলে।

The son of Machli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48 তাদের সাথী লেবীয়দেরও সদাপ্রভুর গৃহের, সেই সমাগম তাঁবুর অন্যান্য সব কাজকর্ম করার দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হল।

And their brethren the Levites were superadded for all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

49 কিন্তু হারোণ ও তাঁর বংশধররাই মহাপবিত্রস্থানে যা যা করণীয়, সেই প্রথানুসারে হোমবলির বেদির ও ধূপবেদির উপর উপহার উৎসর্গ করার মাধ্যমে ঈশ্বরের দাস মোশির দেওয়া আদেশানুসারে ইস্রায়েলের জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করতেন।

But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt-offering, and upon the altar of incense, [and were] for all the work of the most holy place, and to make an atonement for Israel, in accordance with all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

50 এরাই হারোণের বংশধর: তাঁর ছেলে ইলীয়াসর, তাঁর ছেলে পীনহস, তাঁর ছেলে অবিশূয়,

And these are the sons of Aaron: El'azar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua' his son,

51 তাঁর ছেলে বুক্কি, তাঁর ছেলে উষি, তাঁর ছেলে সরাহিয়,

Bukki his son, 'Uzzi his son, Zerachyah his son,

52 তাঁর ছেলে মরায়োৎ, তাঁর ছেলে অমরিয়, তাঁর ছেলে অহীটূব,

Merayoth his son, Amaryah his son, Achitub his son,

53 তাঁর ছেলে সাদোক এবং তাঁর ছেলে অহীমাস।

Zadok his son, Achima'az his son.

54 তাদের এলাকারূপে এই স্থানগুলিই তাদের উপনিবেশ গড়ার জন্য চিহ্নিত হল: (সেগুলি হারোণের সেই বংশধরদের জন্যই চিহ্নিত হল, যারা কহাতীয় বংশোদ্ভূত ছিল, কারণ প্রথম ভাগটি তাদের জন্যই ছিল)

And these are their dwelling-places with their castles in their boundaries; unto the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kehathites; for theirs was the [first] lot, —

55 তাদের যিহূদা অঞ্চলের হিব্রোণ ও সেখানকার চারপাশের চারণভূমিগুলি দেওয়া হল।

And they gave unto them Hebron in the land of Judah, with its open spaces round about it.

56 কিন্তু ক্ষেতজমি ও নগর ঘিরে থাকা গ্রামগুলি দেওয়া হল যিফূন্নির ছেলে কালেবকে।

But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son Jephunneh.

57 অতএব হারোণের বংশধরদের দেওয়া হল হিব্রোণ (এক আশ্রয়-নগর), ও লিব্‌না, যত্তীর, ইষ্টিমোয়,

And to the sons of Aaron they gave [of] the cities of refuge Hebron, and Libnah with its open spaces, and Jattir, and Eshthemoa, with its open spaces.

58 হিলেন, দবীর,

And Chilen with its open spaces, Debir with its open spaces,

59 আশন, যুটা ও বেত-শেমশ, এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও তাদের দেওয়া হল।

And 'Ashan with its open spaces, and Beth-shemesh with its open spaces.

60 বিন্যামীন বংশ থেকে তাদের দেওয়া হল গিবিয়োন, গেবা, আলেমৎ ও অনাথোৎ, এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও তাদের দেওয়া হল। কহাতীয় বংশের মধ্যে ভাগ করে দেওয়া নগরের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছিল মোট তেরোটি।

And from the tribe of Benjamin, Geba' with its open spaces, and 'Alemeth with its open spaces, and 'Anathoth with its open spaces. And all their cities were thirteen cities after their families.

61 কহাতের বাদবাকি বংশধরদের মনঃশির অর্ধেক বংশের অধিকার থেকে দশটি নগর দেওয়া হল।

And unto the sons of Kehath that were left of the family of that tribe, [were given] from the half tribe, the half tribe of Menasseh, by lot, ten cities.

62 বংশ ধরে ধরে গের্শোনের বংশধরদের ইষাখর, আশের ও নপ্তালি বংশ থেকে, এবং মনঃশি বংশের সেই অংশ, যারা বাশনে ছিল, তাদের থেকে তোরোটি নগর দেওয়া হল।

And to the sons or Gershom after their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe of Menasseh in Bashan, [were given] thirteen cities.

63 বংশ ধরে ধরে মরারির বংশধরদের রূবেণ, গাদ ও সবূলূন বংশ থেকে বারোটি নগর দেওয়া হল।

Unto the sons of Merari after their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, [were given] by lot, twelve cities.

64 অতএব ইস্রায়েলীরা লেবীয়দের এইসব নগর ও সেগুলির চারণভূমিও দিয়েছিল।

And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their open spaces.

65 যিহূদা, শিমিয়োন ও বিন্যামীন বংশ থেকে তারা সেই নগরগুলি দিয়েছিল, যেগুলির নামোল্লেখ আগে করা হয়েছে।

And they gave by lot from the tribe of the children of Judah, and from the tribe of the children of Simeon, and from the tribe of the children of Benjamin these cities, which they called by names.

66 কহাতীয়দের কয়েকটি বংশকে তাদের এলাকাভুক্ত নগররূপে ইফ্রয়িম বংশ থেকে কয়েকটি নগর দেওয়া হল।

And some of the families of the sons of Kehath had the cities of their territory from the tribe of Ephraim.

67 ইফ্রয়িমের পার্বত্য এলাকায় তাদের শিখিম (এক আশ্রয়-নগর), ও গেষর,

And they gave unto them, [of] the cities of refuge Sechem with its open spaces in the mountain of Ephraim, and Gezer with its open spaces.

68 যকমিয়াম, বেথ-হোরোণ,

And Jokme'am with its open spaces, and Beth-choron with its open spaces,

69 অয়ালোন ও গাৎ-রিম্মোণ এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও দেওয়া হল।

And Ayalon with its open spaces, and Gath-rimmon with its open spaces.

70 মনঃশির অর্ধেক বংশ থেকে ইস্রায়েলীরা কহাতীয় বংশের বাদবাকি লোকজনকে আনের ও বিলয়ম এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও দিয়েছিল।

And from the half tribe of Menasseh: 'Aner with its open spaces: and Bil'am with its open spaces, for the family of the remaining portion of the sons of Kehath.

71 গের্শোনীয়রা নিম্নলিখিত নগরগুলি পেয়েছিল: মনঃশির অর্ধেক বংশের অধিকার থেকে তারা পেয়েছিল বাশনে অবস্থিত গোলন ও অষ্টারোৎ, এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও তারা পেয়েছিল;

Unto the sons of Gershom [were given] from the family of the half tribe of Menasseh, Golan in Bashan with its open spaces, and 'Ashtaroth with its open spaces.

72 ইষাখর বংশ থেকে তারা পেয়েছিল কেদশ, দাবরৎ,

And from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with its open spaces, Dobrath with its open spaces,

73 রামোৎ ও আনেম, এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও তারা পেয়েছিল;

And Ramoth with its open spaces, and 'Anem with its open spaces.

74 আশের বংশ থেকে তারা পেয়েছিল মশাল, আব্দোন,

And from the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its open spaces, and 'Abdon with its open spaces,

75 হূকোক ও রাহব, এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও তারা পেয়েছিল;

And Chukok with its open spaces, and Rechob with its open spaces.

76 এবং নপ্তালি বংশ থেকে তারা পেয়েছিল গালীলে অবস্থিত কেদশ, হম্মোন ও কিরিয়াথয়িম, এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও তারা পেয়েছিল।

And from the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with its open spaces, and Chammon with its open spaces, and Kiryathayim with its open spaces.

77 মরারীয়রা (বাদবাকি লেবীয়রা) নিম্নলিখিত (নগরগুলি) পেয়েছিল: সবূলূন বংশ থেকে তারা পেয়েছিল যক্নিয়াম, কার্তা, রিম্মোণো ও তাবোর, এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও তারা পেয়েছিল;

Unto the remaining portion of the children of Merari [were given] from the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with its open spaces, Tabor with its open spaces.

78 যিরীহোর পূর্বদিকে জর্ডন নদীর পারের রূবেণ বংশ থেকে তারা পেয়েছিল মরুপ্রান্তরে অবস্থিত বেৎসর, যাহসা,

And on the other side the Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with its open spaces, and Jahzah with its open spaces,

79 কদেমোৎ ও মেফাৎ, এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও তারা পেয়েছিল;

And Kedemoth with its open spaces, and Mepha'ath with its open spaces.

80 এবং গাদ বংশ থেকে তারা পেয়েছিল গিলিয়দে অবস্থিত রামোৎ, মহনয়িম,

And from the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gila'd with its open spaces, and Machanayim with its open spaces.

81 হিষ্‌বোন ও যাসের, এবং সেই নগরগুলির চারণভূমিও তারা পেয়েছিল।

And Cheshbon with its open spaces, and Ja'azer with its open spaces.
