1 ᎠᏆᏚᎵᏰᏃ ᎢᏥᎦᏙᎥᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏥᎩᎵᏲᎬ ᎦᏟᏂᎬᏁᎲ ᏂᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎴᎣᏗᏏᏯ ᎠᏁᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏂᎥᏉ ᎤᏂᎪᎲᎯ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎠᏆᎧᏛ ᎠᏂ ᎤᏇᏓᎵ ᎨᏒᎢ;
For I would have you know what a great conflict I have for you, and for those in Laodicea, and as many as have not seen me in person:
2 ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏂᎾᏫ ᎤᎦᎵᏍᏗ ᏗᎬᏩᏓᏅᏓᏗᏍᏗ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᏚᎾᏚᏓᏕᏫᏍᏛ ᎠᏓᎨᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏭᏂᏱᎶᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎨᏒ ᏄᏜᏓᏏᏛᏒᎾ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎪᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏨᏗᏓᎴᎲᏍᎦ, ᎤᏂᎦᏙᎥᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᏕᎵᏛ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎦᏴᎵᎨ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ;
that their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, and to all the riches of a full assurance of understanding in these things, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of our God and Father, and of Christ:
3 ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏚᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗ ᏥᏚᏩᏍᎦᎳ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎤᏣᏘ ᏧᎬᏩᎶᏗ ᎠᎵᏏᎾᎯᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎦᏙᎥᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4 ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᏥᏪᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏥᎶᏄᎮᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏬᏚᎯ ᎦᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎬᏗ.
And this I say, least any one should deceive you with fine speeches.
5 ᎠᎩᎪᏁᎸᏍᎩᏂᏃᏅ ᎠᎩᏇᏓᎸ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏆᏓᏅᏙ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏨᏰᎳᏗᏙᎭ, ᎦᎵᎡᎵᎦ ᎠᎴ ᏕᎦᎦᏂᎭ ᎣᏏᏳ ᏂᏣᏛᏁᎲ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏗᏳ ᎨᏒ ᎡᏦᎢᏳᏒ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ.
For though I be absent in body, yet am I with you in spirit, rejoicing and beholding your regularity, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏤᏣᏓᏂᎸᏨᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᏥᏌ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏄᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎡᏥᏍᏓᏩᏗᏒᎢ;
Therefore as ye have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him;
7 ᎾᎿᎭᏗᏥᎿᎭᏍᏕᏜᏓᏛᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎾᎿᎭᎡᏣᏁᏍᎨᎲᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎢᏰᏨᏁᎸᎯ ᎢᏦᎯᏳᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎡᏤᏲᏅᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ [ ᎢᏦᎯᏳᏒᎢ ] ᎤᎵᏠᏯᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎠᎵᎮᎵᏤᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ.
rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught it, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 ᎢᏤᏯᏔᎮᏍᏗ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎩᎶ ᏥᏥᎾᏌᏂ, ᎠᏏᎾᏍᏛ ᎦᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎬᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏠᏄᎮᏗ ᎬᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏴᏫ ᏓᎾᏕᏲᎲᏍᎬᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎡᎶᎯ ᏗᎴᏅᏙᏗ ᏓᏕᏲᎲᏍᎬᎢ, ᎥᏝᏃ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᏓᏕᏲᎲᏍᎬᎢ;
Take heed least any one make a prey of you by philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ:
9 ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ [ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ] ᎠᏰᎸᎢ ᎠᏯᎠ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎠᎧᎵᎢ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ.
for all the fulness of the deity dwelleth personally in Him.
10 ᎠᎴ ᎡᏥᎧᎵᎸᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏩᏂᏌᏅᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ ᏥᎩ ᎾᏂᎥ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᎨᎦᏁᎶᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ;
And ye are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
11 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎢᏳᏩᏂᏌᏅᎯ ᏤᏥᎤᏍᏕᏎᎸᎯ ᏥᎩ, ᎠᎱᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎬᏔᏅᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎩᎶ ᏧᏬᏰᏂ ᏧᏩᏔᏅᎯ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏂᏨᏁᎲ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏇᏓᎵ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏍᎦᏅᎢᏍᏔᏅᎢ ᎢᏨᏗᏍᎬ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎤᏤᎵ ᎠᎱᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ;
In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision not performed by hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision which is of Christ:
12 ᎡᏥᏂᏌᏅ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏥᏂᏌᏅ ᏗᏓᏬᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎬᏔᏅᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎬᏔᏅᎯ ᏕᏣᎴᏔᏅ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏓᎦᎴᏔᏅᎢ ᏅᏧᎵᏍᏙᏔᏅ ᎢᏦᎯᏳᏒ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏚᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎸᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᎴᏔᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎤᏲᎱᏒᎢ.
being buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are raised together with Him, through faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.
13 ᏂᎯᏃ ᏗᏥᏲᎱᏒᎯ ᏂᎨᏒ ᎤᏣᏘᏂ ᏂᏣᏛᏁᎸ ᎢᏣᏚᏓᎸᎢ ᎠᎴ ᏂᏕᏥᎤᏍᏕᏎᎸᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏥᏇᏓᎸᎢ, ᏗᏨᏃᏛ ᏂᏨᏁᎸ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏃᏛ ᎾᎬᏁᎸᎢ, ᎦᏰᏥᏁᎸ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ ᎤᏣᏘᏂ ᏂᏣᏛᏁᎸᎢ,
And when ye were dead in trespasses, and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 ᎠᏲᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎪᏪᎸ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎢᎦᏡᏗᏍᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎩᏲᏍᏙᏓᏁᎯ ᏥᎨᏒᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎲᏒᎩ, ᎤᏤᎵ ᏓᏓᎿᎭᏩᏍᏛ ᎤᏪᏯᎸᏅᎩ ᏴᏫ ᏚᏪᎭᏔᏅᎩ;
and cancelled the obligation we were under by ritual decrees, which was grievous to us, and hath taken it quite away, even nailing it to his cross.
15 ᏚᎾᏌᏅᏃ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ ᎠᎴ ᏗᎨᎦᏁᎶᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏚᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎᎢ, ᏓᏓᎵᏁᎯᏕᎨᎢ ᎾᏍᎩ [ ᏓᏓᎿᎭᏩᏍᏛ ] ᎬᏗᏍᎬᎢ.
And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made them an open spectacle, triumphing over them by it.
16 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎩᎶ ᏱᏗᏧᎪᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᎠᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏗᏔᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎦᎸᏉᏗ ᎢᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏤ ᏅᏙ ᎠᏢᏁᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬ ᎢᎦ;
Let no one therefore judge you on account of meat, or drink, or in respect of a feast, or a new-moon, or sabbaths;
17 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏓᏩᏗᏍᏙᏛᏉ ᎨᏒᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᎤᎵᏱᎶᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎠᏓᏩᏗᏍᏙᏗᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎨᏒᎩ.
which are a shadow of good things to come, but the body is of Christ.
18 ᏞᏍᏗ ᎩᎶ ᏥᏥᎷᏄᎮᎵ ᏥᏥᏲᏍᏙᏓᏁᎵ ᎠᏌᏍᏛ ᎡᏥᏁᏗᏱ ᎤᏚᎵᏍᎬ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᏂᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏧᎾᏓᏙᎵᏍᏓᏁᏗᏱ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎵᏌᎳᏁᎲ ᎤᎪᎲᎯ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᏎᏉᏉ ᎠᏕᏋᎯᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎬᏗᏍᎬ ᎤᏇᏓᎵ ᎤᏓᏅᏖᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ;
Let no one deprive you of your reward by an affected humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into what he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his carnal mind;
19 ᎠᎴ ᏂᏚᏂᏴᏒᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏍᎪᎵ, ᎾᎿᎭᏨᏗᏓᎴᎲᏍᎦ ᏂᎬ ᎠᏰᎸᎢ ᏚᎯᏞᏫᏒᎢ ᎠᎴ ᏧᏩᏚᎾ ᏚᏪᏙᎸᎢ ᎤᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏙᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏚᏓᏕᏫᏐᎢ ᎠᏛᏍᎪᎢ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏁᏉᏍᎬᎢ.
and not adhering to the head, from which all the body, being supplied and held together as by joints and bands, increaseth with the increase of God.
20 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎤᏲᎱᏒ ᏗᏥᏲᎱᏒᎯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎡᎯ ᎠᎴᏅᏙᏗ ᏗᏕᎶᏆᏍᏗ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎡᎶᎯ ᏥᏤᎰ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏙᏣᏁᎶᏗ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ,
If therefore ye be dead with Christ from the elements of the world; why, as if living in the world, are ye subject to ceremonial ordinances,
21 ᏴᏫ ᎤᏂᏁᏨᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏧᎾᏕᏲᏅᎯ? ᎾᏍᎩ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏒᏂᎸᎩ; ᏞᏍᏗ ᎤᏍᏗᎤᏅ ᏣᎬᎩ; ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏱᏙᎸᎩ;
(such as "touch not, taste not,
22 ( ᏂᎦᏛᏰᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎾᎵᏛᏙᏗ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏕᎲᏗᏍᎬ ᎢᏳᎢ; )
handle not," which all tend to corruption in the using, ) according to the commandments and doctrines of men?
23 ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ ᎠᎵᏏᎾᎯᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏓᏤᎸ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᎿᎭᎣᏩᏒ ᎣᏓᏅᏖᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᏓᏙᎵᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏃᎦᏌᏯᏍᏛᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎥᏰᎸᎢ, ᎥᏝᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎦᎸᏉᏗᏍᎬᎢ, ᎤᏇᏓᎵ ᎤᏂᎬᏎᎲ ᎥᏩᏛᎡᎲᎢ.
which things indeed have a pretence to wisdom in voluntary worship, and humiliation, and bodily penance, as having no regard to the satisfying of the flesh.
