1 Neilungset in O Pathen, nei khoton! Neivenbit jingna ding’in nang malam ka hin sang’e. Hahsatna ho abeitokahsen na lhaving lim noi a ka kisel jing ding ahi.
To the Overseer. — 'Destroy not.' — A secret treasure of David, in his fleeing from the face of Saul into a cave. Favour me, O God, favour me, For in Thee is my soul trusting, And in the shadow of Thy wings I trust, Until the calamities pass over.
2 Ka chung’a athilgon eisuhbulhing pehna ding’in Pathen hatchungnung chu ka kouve.
I call to God Most High, To God [who] is perfecting for me.
3 Aman eihuhdoh ding leh eidel lele ho jumsahna ding’a van’a kon’a panpina eihinpeh ding ahi. Ka Pathen’in angailutna longlou leh akitahna a chu eihung vil ding ahi.
He sendeth from the heaven, and saveth me, He reproached — who is panting after me. (Selah) God sendeth forth His kindness and His truth.
4 Keipi bahkai hangtah hon mihem annchah man dia achanlhih le banin galmite’n eiumkimvel’uvin, aha uhi tengcha leh thalchang bangin asunvangthei in, alei’u jong chemjam hemset tobang'in asat tan thei e.
My soul [is] in the midst of lions, I lie down [among] flames — sons of men, Their teeth [are] a spear and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.
5 O Pathen nangma hi van mun jouse chungvum sang’in hung kichoisang’in! Na loupina hin leiset chung mun jouse hi salvah hen!
Be Thou exalted above the heavens, O God, Above all the earth Thine honour.
6 Ka galmite’n thang eikampeh uvin, keima lunggim leh lunglengvai in kaum’e. Amahon ka lampi’a kotong thuhtah alai un ahinlah amaho mama alhalut jiuvin ahi.
A net they have prepared for my steps, Bowed down hath my soul, They have digged before me a pit, They have fallen into its midst. (Selah)
7 O Pathen nang a lungmon na kanei e; nang a kalung among e. Nangma thangvah la ka sahthei hi thilkidang ahipoi.
Prepared is my heart, O God, Prepared is my heart, I sing and praise.
8 Thou in kalung! Thou in, o jemjang le tumging! Ka vahchoila’n jingninou hi sukhang ing e.
Awake, mine honour, awake, psaltery and harp, I awake the morning dawn.
9 O Pakai mipi ho jouse lah’a na thangvah ing’e. Namtin vaipi jouse lah’a nangma na thangvah ing kate.
I thank Thee among the peoples, O Lord, I praise Thee among the nations.
10 Ajeh chu na mingailutna longlou hi vanho bang’in asang e. Na kitahna in meilomlah apha’n ahi.
For great unto the heavens [is] Thy kindness, And unto the clouds Thy truth.
11 Hung kichoi sang in O Pathen, van mun sangpen ho sang’in na min hi dopsang’in umjo hen. Na loupina in leiset chung pumpi hi salvah hen.
Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God. Above all the earth Thine honour!
