1 Hiche lekhathot hi Christa Yeshua soh, solchah hidinga Pathen lhendoh, Ama Kipana Thupha seiphong dinga kisoldoh, Paul'a kon ahi:
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
2 Hiche Kipana Thupha malaipeh'a Pathen in Lekhabu thenga a-Themgao ho ana thutepsa,
which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,
3 Kipana Thuphahi Achapa thudol ahi. Ama chu leiset ahinkho'a Leng David insunga ana penga ahi,
concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh
4 Chule Ama chu Lhagaotheng thahat'a athilah a kona kaithouva aum chun, Pathen Chapa chu avetsah tai. Ama Yeshua Christa i-Pakaiyu chu ahi.
and who was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
5 Christa jal'a Pathen in solchah hina chanpha le thuneina eipeh uhi muntina chidang namdangte, Pathen in abolpeh-u seipeh a, amahon atahsanuva chule seingai ahi diu chu Amin loupina ding ahiye.
through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the Gentiles,
6 Chule nangho jong Yeshua Christa a dinga hiche chidang namdang akikou ho lah a napan'u ahitai.
including you who are also called to belong to Jesus Christ;
7 Rome khopia um Pathen ngailu ho chule Ama mithengte hiding a kikouho jouse dinga jih a kahi.
to all who are in Rome, beloved by God and called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
8 Keiman nangho jouse henga kasei masah nom chu, keiman Ka Pathen chu Yeshua Christa jal'in kathangvah-e, ajehchu Ama natahsanu thu chu vannoi mun jousea kisei ahitai.
First, I give thanks to my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world.
9 Keima nangho dinga taojom jinga kahi hi Pathen ahetoh ahi. Sun le jan'in kalung pumpia a-Chapa Kipana Thupha seiphonga kapanna ahin, nangho le nangaichat-u thudol'a Pathen henga taova kahi.
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that I continually remember you,
10 Kataona ajeh pipen khat chu, Pathen phatsah a phat kijenpet kamua, nangho achaina pena hung mu noma kahi hi ahi.
always pleading in my prayers that somehow by God's will I may now at last succeed in coming to you.
11 Ajehchu keiman nangho hungvil kanop'a chutia chu nangho Pakaiya nahatdoh theina dinguva kithopia Lhagao thilpeh hungpeh ding kati nahiuve.
For I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, that you may be established,
12 Eiho ikikhop khom tenguleh, keiman natahsan nauva tilkhou ding kanom'in, chule nanghoa kona jong kitilkhou ding kakinemin ahi.
that is, that while I am among you we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
13 Sopi deitahte, nangho hungvil ding tamtahvei kana gongin, hinla tuchan hin eisumo aum jinge. Keiman chidang namdang mi adanghoa kon'a kamu tobang'in, nangho lah a jong toh'a chule Lhagao ga mu kanom'e.
I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often intended to come to you (but have been hindered until the present time) so that I might have some fruit among you as well, just as I have had among the other Gentiles.
14 Keiman khantouna vannoi leiset miho umna mun'a hihen, mun danga lekhathem le athemlou lah hijongle mopohna lentah neiyin kakigel'e.
I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish;
15 Hiti chun, keima jong Rome khopia nangho henga hunga Kipana Thupha seiphong ding kanom'e.
thus the eagerness on my part to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.
16 Ajehchu, keima hiche Christa Kipana Thupha chung chang thua hin kajah achapoi. Hichea hi Pathen thahat in na atoh a, atahsan chan chu ahuhhing ahi; Judahte masa ding chule chidang namdangte jong hiding ahi.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, both to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
17 Hiche Kipana Thupha hin Pathen in amitmua iti chonpha eisemu ham ti eihiluve. Hiche hi akipat'a pat achaina gei tahsan jal ahi. Pathen thubun asei dung juiyin, “Tahsan vanga michonpha chun hinna anei ahi,” kitia ahi.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written, “The righteous will live by faith.”
18 Ahin Pathen in michonse, migilou agitlou nauva thutah sunem ho dou dingin, alunghanna Van'a kon'in ahin vetsah in ahi.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness.
19 Amahon Pathen thudol thutah chu aheuve, ajehchu Aman amaho ahetsah masah ahitai.
Because what is known about God is evident among them, for God has made it evident to them.
20 Ajehchu vannoi kisema pat mihon leiset le van amu'uve. Pathen in athilsem jousea kon hin, Ama mutheilou ahina gunneina ho kichentah in amuuvin, tonsot athaneina le Pathen ahina chonna ho geiya ahet'u ahi. Hitichun, Pathen ahetlou jeh uva them achanna dingu aumpoi. (aïdios g126)
For his invisible qualities, both his everlasting power and his divinity, have been plainly seen from the creation of the world, being perceived through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (aïdios g126)
21 Ahin, amahon Pathen aheuve, hinlah amahon Pathen houvin ahou nom pouve, ahilouleh thangvahna apenom pouve. Chule amahon alunggel uva Pathen chu itobang ahidem ti ngolhoi lunggel aneiyuve. Hitichun, alung gelu athi'in chule alungu anohphah dentai.
For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts, and their senseless hearts were darkened.
22 Ching tah a akiseinau chun angolsah gamu ahitai.
Claiming to be wise, they became fools
23 Chule loupitah tonsot'a hing jing Pathen hou louvin, amahon semthu, mihem le vacha, ganhing le a-oma kithola limho asemun ahou-uve.
and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man, birds, four-footed animals, and reptiles.
24 Hitichun, Pathen in amaho chu alung ngaichat-u dungjuiya jachat umtah boldoh dinga anungsun ahitai. Hichea kona chu, khat'in khat chunga atibah-u chu abol diuva, thenlouna lama apehdoh ahitai.
Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
25 Amahon Pathen dihtah chu kiveinan, jouvin alheng tauve. Hitichun, amahon Asempau tah chu hou sangin, Pathen thilsemsa chu ahou'un chule ajen'ui, Ama chula tonsot'a vahchoi dinga lomtah ahi, Amen. (aiōn g165)
because they exchanged the truth of God for falsehood and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
26 Hijeh chun, Pathen in amaho chu ajachatnau lung ngaichat uva chu anungsun ahitai. Numei ho jeng jong angai dola kitimatna tibah aneiyu chu akale lamin amangchauvin, numei le numei kitimat nom'in, kingaichaton aum gamtauve.
For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions, for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is contrary to nature.
27 Chule Pasal ho jong numeito kingaichat tona neija lupkhomgo talouvin, pasal chun pasal akichenpi chu ngaichat nan adimun ahi. Pasal in a-pasal chanpi chunga jachat umtah abol'un, chutichun, hiche chonset boljeh hin, amahon tahsa chunga gimna achandiu dol cheh akimu'un ahi.
In the same way the men also, having abandoned the natural function of the female, were inflamed in their lust for one another, men committing shameful acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Amahon Pathen phondoh ding ngolhoija ageljeh un, aman amaho angolnau lunggel chu donlouva akoiya chule amaho chun abollou beh dingu abolu ahitai.
And just as they considered it worthless to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a worthless mind, to do what is not proper.
29 Ahinkho man'u chu, gitlouna tincheng, chonset, kiloset, mithetbol, milop, mitha, kidou-kinah, kiduhabol, dou lungput, chule kiseiset abol'ui.
They are filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, evil, covetousness, and malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and maliciousness. They are gossips,
30 Amaho nunglama kona misunji ahiuvin, Pathen ahotbol'un, giloutah, kiletsahtah chule ham hoithoa ahiuve. Amahon chonset thah alamdoh uvin, chule amaho anuleh apateu thua nunglou ahiuve.
slanderers, haters of God, insolent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,
31 Hetna neiding ago pouvin, akitep nau sukeh a ahiuvin, lungthim bei ahiuvin, chule hepina neilou ahiuve.
senseless, untrustworthy, without natural affection, irreconcilable, and unmerciful.
32 Amahon Pathen thutan dihna chun hitobang bol ho chu thi dinga lom ahiuve ti aheuvin, hinla aboltei tei uve. Akhohcheh chu, amahon midang chu chutobang bol ding'in atilkhou'un ahi.
Though they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things deserve death, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them.
