士師記 16
1 三松往迦薩去，在那裏看見一個妓女，便去走近了她。
Then went Samson unto Gaza, —and saw there an unchaste woman, and went in unto her.
2 有人告訴迦薩人說：「三松到這裏來了。」他們就把他圍住，終夜派人埋伏在城門口，整夜靜悄悄地等待他，說：「等到早晨天亮，我們纔殺他。」
And it was told the Gazites, saying—Samson hath come in hither. So they came round, and lay in wait for him, all the night, in the gate of the city, —but kept themselves quiet all the night, saying, Until the light of the morning, then will we slay him.
3 三松睡到半夜，半夜醒來，抓緊城門，連兩個門框帶門閂，一起拔起，放在肩上，背到赫特龍對面的山頂上。三松與德里拉
And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took hold of the doors of the gate of the city, and of the two doorposts, and tare them away, with the bar, and put them on his shoulders, —and carried them up to the top of the hill that faceth Hebron.
4 此後，他在芍勒克平原又愛上一個女人，名叫德里拉。
And it came to pass, after this, that he loved a woman in the ravine of Shorek, whose, name, was Delilah.
5 培肋舍特的酋長上到她那裏，對她說：「請你引誘他，看看他這樣大的力量是從那裏來的，我們怎樣能制勝他，將他捆起，而制伏他；我們每人給你一千一百銀子。」
So the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said to her—Entice him, and see wherein lieth his great strength, and wherewith we may prevail against him, and bind him, to humble him, —and, we, will give thee, every man, eleven hundred pieces of silver.
6 德里拉問三松說：「請你告訴我，你這樣大的力量是從那裏來的﹖人怎樣纔能將你捆起，而制伏你﹖」
So Delilah said unto Samson, Do tell me, I pray thee, wherein lieth thy great strength, —and wherewith thou mightest be bound, to humble thee.
7 三松回答說：「人若用七根未乾的新牛筋繩將我捆起，我就像別人一樣軟弱。」
And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green cords, that have not been dried, then shall I become weak, and be as any other man.
8 培肋舍特人的酋長就給她送來七根未乾的新牛筋繩，她便用這些繩子將他捆起。
So the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven green cords, that had not been dried, —and she bound him therewith.
9 當時有埋伏的人暗藏在她的內室裏；德里拉向他喊說：「三松，培肋舍特人來捉你哩! 」他就掙斷牛筋繩，如同麻線被火燒斷一樣；於是人們仍不知他力量的所在。
Now, the liers in wait, were tarrying for her, in an inner chamber, —and she said unto him, —The Philistines, are upon thee, Samson! And he snapped the cords as a thread of tow is broken, when fire bloweth thereon, so his strength was not discovered.
10 德里拉遂對三松說：「看，你戲弄我，對我說謊。如今請你告訴我，怎樣纔能捆綁你﹖」
And Delilah said unto Samson, Lo! thou hast been laughing at me, and speaking unto me falsehoods, —Now, do tell me, I pray thee, wherewith thou mightest be bound.
11 他回答她說：「人若用從未用過的新繩將我捆起，我就像別人一樣軟弱。」
And he said unto her, If they, bind me fast, with new ropes, wherewith work was never done, then shall I become weak, and be as any other man.
12 德里拉就拿新繩將他捆起，對他喊說：「三松，培肋舍特人來捉你哩! 」當時仍有埋伏的人暗藏在內室裏；但他掙斷手臂上的繩子，好像一根絲線一樣。
So Delilah took new ropes, and bound him therewith, and said unto him—The Philistines, are upon thee, Samson! Now, the liers in wait, were tarrying in an inner chamber. And he snapped them off his arms like a thread.
13 德里拉對三松說：「到現在你仍戲弄我，對我說謊；你告訴我，人怎樣纔能捆綁你﹖」他回答她說：「你若把我頭上的七條髮辮與織布的經線編在一起，然後用木橛釘住，我就像別人一樣軟弱。」
And Delilah said unto Samson—Hitherto, hast thou been laughing at me, and speaking unto me falsehoods, do tell me, wherewith thou mightest be bound. And he said unto her, If thou weave the seven braids of my head with the warp.
14 德里拉使他睡了，然後把他頭上的七條髮辮與織布的經線編在一起，再用木橛釘住，向他喊說：「三松，培肋舍特人來捉你哩! 」他從夢中醒來，把織布機的木橛連織布的經線都拔了出來。
So she beat them up with the pin, and said unto him, The Philistines, are upon thee, Samson! And he awaked out of his sleep, and pulled out the pin of the loom, and the warp.
15 德里拉就對他說：「你心裏既沒有我，你怎能說：我愛你呢﹖你已三次戲弄我，還沒有告訴我你這樣大的力量是從那裏來的! 」
And she said unto him—How canst thou say, I love thee, when, thy heart, is not with me? These three times, hast thou laughed at me, and hast not told me wherein lieth thy great strength.
16 因為她天天用話來逼他，催他，致使他的精神苦惱的要死。
And it came to pass, when she urged him with her words continually, and pressed him, that his soul became impatient, unto death;
17 三松遂把心中的一切全透露給她，對她說：「剃刀從未接觸過我的頭，因為我在母胎時就是獻於天主的；人若剃去我的頭髮，我的力量就離開了我，我就像眾人一樣軟弱。」
so he told her all his heart, and said to her—No, razor, hath come on my head, for, one separate unto God, have I been, from my birth, —if I were shaven, then would depart from me my strength, and I should become weak, and be as any other man.
18 德里拉一見他把心中的一切全給她透露了，便打發人召培肋舍特的酋長來說：「這一次你們上來罷! 因為他把心中的一切全透露給我。」於是培肋舍特人的酋長手中帶著銀子，來到德里拉那裏。
And, when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying—Come up this once, for he hath told me all his heart. And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought up the silver in their hand.
19 德里拉使三松睡在自己的膝上，又叫來一個人，剃去他頭上的七條髮辮，他就開始軟弱無力，他的力量全離開了他。
And she made him sleep upon her knees, and called for a man, and caused him to shave off the seven braids of his head, —and she began to humble him, and his strength departed from him.
20 她於是喊說：「三松，培肋舍特人來捉你哩! 」他由夢中醒來，心想：「這一次和前幾次一樣，我一掙扎，必能脫身。」他卻不知道上主已離棄了他。
And she said—The Philistines, are upon thee, Samson! And he awoke out of his sleep, and said—I will go out now, as time after time, and shake myself free: he, not knowing, that, Yahweh, had departed from him.
21 培肋舍特人便把他捉住，剜去他的眼睛，帶他下到迦薩，用銅鍊鎖了他，叫他在監獄裏推磨。
And the Philistines seized him, and put out his eyes, —and took him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of bronze, and it came to pass that he used to grind in the prison.
22 但是他的頭髮在剃了以後，又漸漸長起來。三松殉身復仇
And the hair of his head began to grow, after he had been shaven.
23 培肋舍特人的酋長聚集起來，為給他們的神達貢舉行祭獻大典，表示慶祝；他們說：「我們的神把我們的仇人三松交在我們手中。」
Now, the lords of the Philistines, had gathered themselves together to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice, —and they said, Our god hath delivered into our hand, Samson our enemy.
24 民眾一見三松，就讚頌他們的神說：「我們的神把破壞過我們的田地，殺害過我們多人的仇人，交在我們的手中了。」
And, when the people saw him, they praised their god, —for they said—Our god hath delivered into our hand our enemy, even him who laid waste our land, and who multiplied our slain.
25 當他們興高采烈的時候，就喊說：「讓三松給我們表演把戲。」他們就從監獄裏叫出三松來，在他們面前耍把戲；以後把他放在兩根柱子中間。
And it came to pass, when their heart was merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make sport for us. So they called for Samson out of the prison, and he made sport before them, and they stationed him between the pillars.
26 三松對牽他手的僮僕說：「讓我摸摸支殿的柱子，好能靠一靠。」
And Samson said unto the youth that held him by his hand, Place me where I may feel the pillars whereon the house resteth, that I may lean upon them.
27 那時殿內滿了男女，培肋舍特人的酋長也在裏面，在天台上約有三千男女，都在看三松表演把戲。
Now, the house, was full of men and women, there, also were all the lords of the Philistines, —and, on the roof, were about three thousand men and women, looking on while Samson made sport.
28 三松呼求上主說：「吾主上主，求你眷念我! 天主，求你再賜我力量，只要這一次! 以報培肋舍特人剜我雙眼的仇。」
So then Samson cried unto Yahweh, and said, —My Lord Yahweh! remember me, I pray thee, —and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be avenged, with one avenging, for my two eyes, upon the Philistines.
29 三松就抱住正中支殿的兩根柱子，右手抱一根，左手抱一根；
Then did Samson grasp the two middle pillars, whereon the house rested, and whereon it was upheld, and he braced himself against them, —the one with his right hand, and the other with his left.
30 然後三松說：「讓我的性命和培肋舍特人同歸於盡! 」於是他奮力屈身，大殿隨之倒塌，壓在酋長和裏面所有的民眾身上；這樣他在臨死時所殺死的人，比一生所殺死的人還多。
And Samson said—Let my soul die with the Philistines! And he bowed mightily, and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead, whom he slew at his death, were more than they whom he slew in his life.
31 此後，他的兄弟和父親的全家下來，把他抬上去，葬在祚辣和厄市陶耳之間，他父親瑪諾亞的墳墓裏。他作以色列民長二十年。
Then came down his brethren, and all the house of his father, and lifted him, and carried him up, and buried him, between Zorah and Eshtaol, in the buryingplace of Manoah his father, —he, having judged Israel twenty years.
