< Psalms 17 >

1 A Prayer by David. Hear, LORD, my righteous plea. Give ear to my prayer that does not go out of deceitful lips.
MAIN kom kotin ereki me pun o kotin mani ai likwir o kotin kupura ai kapakap, me jota kin kowei jan nan kil en au likam eu.
2 Let my sentence come out of your presence. Let your eyes look on equity.
Ai pun en pwili jan re omui, o kom kotin majan don me pun.
3 You have proved my heart. You have visited me in the night. You have tried me, and found nothing. I have resolved that my mouth shall not disobey.
Kom kotin kajaui monion I ni pon, o komui kotin jojon ia, ap jota me kom kotin diar. I inaukidi, me i jota pan japun ni ai lokaia.
4 As for the deeds of men, by the word of your lips, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.
I kin rukila pan majan en jilan omui jan mon tiak en aramaj o al en men kamela.
5 My steps have held fast to your paths. My feet have not slipped.
Ni ai alialu wei i jota muei jan nan lip en aluwilu omui, ai kakawei jota katia jan.
6 I have called on you, for you will answer me, God. Turn your ear to me. Hear my speech.
I likwiri on komui, Main. Kot, kom kotin mani ia, o kapaike don ia karon omui, o kotin ereki ai kapakap.
7 Show your marvelous loving kindness, you who save those who take refuge by your right hand from their enemies.
Kom kotin kajaleda omui kalanan kapuriamui, pwe pali maun omui jauaj pan ir, me kin liki komui, on ir me palian ir.
8 Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings,
Jinjila ia dueta por en maj eu, o kotin pera kin ia mot en lim omui,
9 from the wicked who oppress me, my deadly enemies, who surround me.
Mon me japun kan, me men kawe ia la, mon ai imwintiti, me kin kapil ia pena.
10 They close up their callous hearts. With their mouth they speak proudly.
Re kin kapiridi monion arail; o jan nan au arail re kin lokaia aklapalap.
11 They have now surrounded us in our steps. They set their eyes to cast us down to the earth.
Waja je kin kola ia, re kin kapil kit pena, maj arail kin majamajan, pwen kaje kit di on nan pwel.
12 He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
Dueta laien amen, me inon ion mana, o dueta laien pul amen, me wonon nan waja rir.
13 Arise, LORD, confront him. Cast him down. Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword,
Main, kom kotida, kaloedi o kanamonokla i; dorela maur i jan me japun kan ki omui kodlaj,
14 from men by your hand, LORD, from men of the world, whose portion is in this life. You fill the belly of your cherished ones. Your sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children.
Jan ren aramaj akan ki lim omui, Main Ieowa, jan ren aramaj en jappa wet, me pwaij arail ni maur et; kom kotin kadire kila kaped arail omui dipijo kan, me nairail jeri ol me toto, o nairail akan me pan jojoki luan arail kapwa.
15 As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness. I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with seeing your form.
A i pan ariri jilan omui ni ai pun, o i pan medikila mom omui ni ai pan pirida.
