Psalms 11

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. In the Lord I have put my trust: how will ye say to my soul, Flee to the mountains as a sparrow?

१मुख्य गायकासाठी; दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. परमेश्वरामध्ये मी आश्रय घेतो; पक्ष्यासारखे डोंगराकडे उडून जा, असे तुम्ही माझ्या जीवाला कसे म्हणता?

2 For behold the sinners have bent their [bow], they have prepared their arrows for the quiver, to shoot For privily at the upright in heart.

२कारण पाहा! सरळ हृदयाच्यांना अंधारात मारावे म्हणून, दुष्ट आपला धनुष्य वाकवतात आणि आपला तीर दोरीला लावून तयार करतात.

3 For they have pulled down what thou didst frame, but what has the righteous done?

३कारण जर पायेच नष्ट केले, तर न्यायी काय करणार?

4 The Lord is in his holy temple, as for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: his eyes look upon the poor, his eyelids try the sons of men.

४परमेश्वर त्याच्या पवित्र स्वर्गात आहे; त्याचे डोळे पाहतात, त्याचे डोळे मनुष्याच्या संतानास पारखतात.

5 The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul.

५परमेश्वर नितीमानाची पारख करतो. परंतू जे दुष्ट व हिंसा करतात त्यांचा तो द्वेष करतो.

6 He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast [shall be] the portion of their cup.

६तो दुष्टांवर जळते निखारे आणि गंधकाचा वर्षाव करील, दाहक वारा हाच त्यांचा वाटा असेल.

7 For the Lord [is] righteous, and loves righteousness; his face beholds uprightness.

७कारण परमेश्वर नितीमान आहे आणि त्यास न्यायीपण प्रिय आहे. सरळ असलेले त्याचे मुख पाहतील.
