Psalms 62
1 To the excelletn musician Ieduthun. A Psalme of David. Yet my soule keepeth silence vnto God: of him commeth my saluation.
૧મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે; યદૂથૂનની રીત પ્રમાણે ગાવા માટે. દાઉદનું ગીત. મારો આત્મા શાંતિથી ઈશ્વરની રાહ જુએ છે; કેમ કે તેમનાથી મારો ઉદ્ધાર છે.
2 Yet he is my strength and my saluation, and my defence: therefore I shall not much be mooued.
૨તે એકલા જ મારો ખડક તથા મારા ઉદ્ધારક છે; તે મારો ગઢ છે; હું પડી જનાર નથી.
3 How long wil ye imagine mischiefe against a man? ye shalbe all slaine: ye shalbe as a bowed wall, or as a wall shaken.
૩જે માણસ નમી ગયેલી ભીંત કે ખસી ગયેલી વાડના જેવો છે, તેને મારી નાખવાને તમે સર્વ ક્યાં સુધી તેના પર હુમલો કરશો?
4 Yet they consult to cast him downe from his dignitie: their delight is in lies, they blesse with their mouthes, but curse with their hearts. (Selah)
૪તેઓ તેને તેના શ્રેષ્ઠ સ્થાનેથી નીચે પાડી નાખવા સલાહ લે છે; તેઓને જૂઠું બોલવું ગમે છે; તેઓ મુખેથી આશીર્વાદ આપે છે, પણ તેઓના હૃદયમાં તેઓ શાપ આપે છે.
5 Yet my soule keepe thou silence vnto God: for mine hope is in him.
૫હે મારો આત્મા, તું શાંતિથી ઈશ્વરની રાહ જો; કેમ કે મારી આશા તેમના પર જ છે.
6 Yet is hee my strength, and my saluation, and my defence: therefore I shall not be mooued.
૬તે એકલા જ મારા ખડક તથા મારા ઉદ્ધારક છે; તે મારા ગઢ છે; હું પડી જનાર નથી.
7 In God is my saluation and my glory, the rocke of my strength: in God is my trust.
૭ઈશ્વરમાં મારો ઉદ્ધાર તથા ગૌરવ છે; મારા સામર્થ્યનો ખડક તથા મારો આશ્રય ઈશ્વરમાં છે.
8 Trust in him alway, ye people: powre out your hearts before him, for God is our hope. (Selah)
૮હે લોકો, તમે સર્વ સમયે તેમના પર ભરોસો રાખો; તેમની આગળ તમારું હૃદય ખુલ્લું કરો; ઈશ્વર આપણો આશ્રય છે. (સેલાહ)
9 Yet the children of men are vanitie, the chiefe men are lies: to lay them vpon a balance they are altogether lighter then vanitie.
૯નિશ્ચે નિમ્ન પંક્તિના માણસો વ્યર્થ છે અને ઉચ્ચ પંક્તિના માણસો જૂઠા છે; તોલતી વેળાએ તેઓનું પલ્લું ઊંચું જશે; તેઓ બધા મળીને હવા કરતાં હલકા છે.
10 Trust not in oppression nor in robberie: be not vaine: if riches increase, set not your heart thereon.
૧૦જુલમ અથવા લૂંટ પર ભરોસો કરશો નહિ; અને સમૃદ્ધિમાં નકામી આશા રાખશો નહિ, કેમ કે તેઓ ફળ આપશે નહિ; તેઓ પર મન ન લગાડો.
11 God spake once or twise, I haue heard it, that power belongeth vnto God,
૧૧ઈશ્વર એક વાર બોલ્યા છે, આ વાત મેં બે વાર સાંભળી છે: સામર્થ્ય ઈશ્વરનું જ છે.
12 And to thee, O Lord, mercie: for thou rewardest euery one according to his worke.
૧૨વળી, હે પ્રભુ, કૃપા પણ તમારી જ છે, કેમ કે તમે દરેક માણસને તેના કામ પ્રમાણે બદલો વાળી આપો છો.
