Ezra 6
1 Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon.

2 And there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of the Medes, a roll, and therein was a record thus written:

3 In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be built, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof three score cubits, and the breadth thereof three score cubits;
No primeiro ano de Ciro, o rei, Ciro, o rei, fez um decreto: Quanto à casa de Deus em Jerusalém, que a casa seja construída, o lugar onde oferecem sacrifícios, e que suas fundações sejam fortemente assentadas, com sua altura sessenta côvados e sua largura sessenta côvados;
4 With three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber: and let the expenses be given out of the king’s house:
with três cursos de grandes pedras e um curso de madeira nova. Deixe que as despesas sejam feitas fora da casa do rei.
5 And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought to Babylon, be restored, and brought again to the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God.
Que também os vasos de ouro e prata da casa de Deus, que Nabucodonosor tirou do templo que está em Jerusalém e trouxe para a Babilônia, sejam restaurados e levados novamente para o templo que está em Jerusalém, tudo para seu lugar. Colocá-los-eis na casa de Deus. '
6 Now therefore, Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shetharboznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, which are beyond the river, be you far from there:
Agora, portanto, Tattenai, governador além do rio, Shetharbozenai, e seus companheiros os afarsacitas, que estão além do rio, você deve ficar longe dali.
7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place.
Deixe a obra desta casa de Deus em paz; deixe o governador dos judeus e os anciãos dos judeus construírem esta casa de Deus em seu lugar.
8 Moreover I make a decree what you shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, immediately expenses be given to these men, that they be not hindered.
Moreover Eu faço um decreto a respeito do que vocês farão por estes anciãos dos judeus para a construção desta casa de Deus: o dos bens do rei, mesmo do tributo além do rio, as despesas devem ser dadas com toda diligência a estes homens, para que eles não sejam impedidos.
9 And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:
Aquilo de que eles precisam, incluindo os jovens touros, carneiros e cordeiros, para holocaustos ao Deus do céu; também trigo, sal, vinho e azeite, segundo a palavra dos sacerdotes que estão em Jerusalém, que lhes seja dado dia após dia sem falta,
10 That they may offer sacrifices of sweet smells to the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons.
para que possam oferecer sacrifícios de agradável aroma ao Deus do céu, e rezar pela vida do rei e de seus filhos.
11 Also I have made a decree, that whoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this.
Fiz também um decreto para que quem alterar esta mensagem, que uma viga seja tirada de sua casa, e que seja levantada e fixada nela; e que sua casa seja feita um monturo para isto.
12 And the God that has caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put to their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed.
May o Deus que fez habitar ali seu nome derrubou todos os reis e povos que estendem sua mão para alterar isto, para destruir esta casa de Deus que está em Jerusalém. Eu, Dario, fiz um decreto. Que isso seja feito com toda a diligência. '
13 Then Tatnai, governor on this side the river, Shetharboznai, and their companions, according to that which Darius the king had sent, so they did speedily.
Então Tattenai, o governador além do rio, Shetharbozenai, e seus companheiros fizeram o mesmo com toda a diligência, porque Dario, o rei, havia enviado um decreto.
14 And the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
Os anciãos dos judeus construíram e prosperaram, através da profecia de Ageu, o profeta, e Zacarias, o filho de Iddo. Eles o construíram e terminaram, de acordo com o mandamento do Deus de Israel, e de acordo com o decreto de Ciro, Dario e Artaxerxes, rei da Pérsia.
15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.
Esta casa foi concluída no terceiro dia do mês de Adar, que foi no sexto ano do reinado de Dario, o rei.
16 And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy.
Os filhos de Israel, os sacerdotes, os levitas e os demais filhos do cativeiro, mantiveram com alegria a dedicação desta casa de Deus.
17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
They ofereceu na dedicação desta casa de Deus cem touros, duzentos carneiros, quatrocentos cordeiros; e por uma oferta pelo pecado por todo Israel, doze bodes, de acordo com o número das tribos de Israel.
18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses.
Eles colocaram os sacerdotes em suas divisões e os levitas em seus cursos, para o serviço de Deus que está em Jerusalém, como está escrito no livro de Moisés.
19 And the children of the captivity kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.
As crianças do cativeiro celebraram a Páscoa no décimo quarto dia do primeiro mês.
20 For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them were pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brothers the priests, and for themselves.
Como os sacerdotes e os levitas haviam se purificado juntos, todos eles eram puros. Eles mataram a Páscoa para todos os filhos do cativeiro, para seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, e para si mesmos.
21 And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves to them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,
Os filhos de Israel que haviam voltado do cativeiro, e todos os que se haviam separado a eles da imundícia das nações da terra para buscar a Javé, o Deus de Israel, comeram,
22 And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
e guardaram a festa dos pães ázimos sete dias com alegria; porque Javé os havia alegrado, e lhes havia voltado o coração do rei da Assíria, para fortalecer suas mãos na obra de Deus, o Deus da casa de Israel.
