Psalms 116
1 I LOVE the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Amo ao Senhor, porque elle ouviu a minha voz e a minha supplica.
2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
Porque inclinou a mim os seus ouvidos; portanto o invocarei emquanto viver.
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)
Os cordeis da morte me cercaram, e angustias do inferno se apoderaram de mim: encontrei aperto e tristeza. (Sheol h7585)
4 Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
Então invoquei o nome do Senhor, dizendo: Ó Senhor, livra a minha alma.
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
Piedoso é o Senhor e justo: o nosso Deus tem misericordia.
6 The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
O Senhor guarda aos simplices: fui abatido, mas elle me livrou.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Alma minha, volta para o teu repouso, pois o Senhor te fez bem.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
Porque tu, Senhor, livraste a minha alma da morte, os meus olhos das lagrimas, e os meus pés da queda.
9 I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
Andarei perante a face do Senhor na terra dos viventes.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
Cri, por isso fallei: estive muito afflicto.
11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
Dizia na minha pressa: Todos os homens são mentirosos.
12 What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?
Que darei eu ao Senhor, por todos os beneficios que me tem feito?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
Tomarei o calix da salvação, e invocarei o nome do Senhor.
14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
Pagarei os meus votos ao Senhor, agora, na presença de todo o seu povo.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
Preciosa é á vista do Senhor a morte dos seus sanctos.
16 O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
Ó Senhor, devéras sou teu servo: sou teu servo, filho da tua serva; soltaste as minhas ataduras.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
Offerecer-te-hei sacrificios de louvor, e invocarei o nome do Senhor.
18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people,
Pagarei os meus votos ao Senhor, na presença de todo o meu povo.
19 In the courts of the Lord’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
Nos atrios da casa do Senhor, no meio de ti, ó Jerusalem. Louvae ao Senhor.
