Isaiah 54

1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith YHWH.

१“तू वांझ स्त्री, तू जन्म दिला नाहीस; ज्या तुला प्रसूतिवेदना नाहीत, ती तू आनंदाने आणि मोठ्याने आरोळी मारून जयघोष करून गायन कर. कारण परमेश्वर म्हणतो, ‘विवाहित स्त्रीच्या मुलांपेक्षा एकाकी असणाऱ्याची मुले अधिक आहेत.’”

2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

२तू आपला तंबू मोठा कर आणि तंबूचे पडदे अधिक दूर बाहेर पसरण्याचे थांबू नको; आपल्या दोऱ्या लांब कर आणि आपल्या मेखा मजबूत कर.

3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

३कारण उजवीकडे आणि डावीकडे तुझा विस्तार होईल, आणि तुझे वंशज राष्ट्रांस जिंकून घेतील आणि उजाड झालेल्या नगरांना वसवतील.

4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

४घाबरू नकोस कारण तू लज्जित होणार नाहीस किंवा निराश होऊ नको कारण तू कलंकीत होणार नाहीस; तू आपल्या तरुणपणाची लाज आणि आपल्या त्यागण्याची बदनामी विसरशील.

5 For thy Maker is thine husband; YHWH of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The Elohim of the whole earth shall he be called.

५कारण तुझा निर्माता तुझा पती आहे; त्याचे नाव सेनाधीश परमेश्वर आहे. इस्राएलाचा पवित्र प्रभू तुझा उद्धारक आहे; त्यास सर्व पृथ्वीचा देव असे म्हटले जाईल.

6 For YHWH hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy Elohim.

६कारण तुला त्यागलेली आणि आत्म्यात दुःखीत पत्नीप्रमाणे परमेश्वर तुला परत बोलावित आहे, तरुण विवाहीत स्त्रीप्रमाणे आणि नाकारलेली, असे तुझा देव म्हणत आहे.

7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

७मी तुला थोड्या वेळासाठी सोडले, परंतु मोठ्या करुणेने मी तुला एकत्र करीन.

8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith YHWH thy Redeemer.

८मी रागाच्या भरात क्षणभर आपले तोंड तुजपासून लपवले; पण मी सर्वकाळच्या कराराच्या विश्वासाने मी तुझ्यावर दया करीन. असे परमेश्वर, तुझा तारणहार म्हणतो.

9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

९“कारण नोहाच्या जलाप्रमाणे हे मला आहेः जशी मी शपथ घेऊन म्हणालो नोहाचा जलप्रलय पुन्हा कधीही भूमीवर चालणार नाही, तशी मी शपथ घेतली मी तुझ्यावर कधी रागावणार नाही आणि तुला धिक्कारणार नाही.

10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith YHWH that hath mercy on thee.

१०जरी पर्वत कोसळतील आणि टेकड्या ढळतील, तरी माझा कराराचा विश्वासूपणा तुझ्यापासून दूर होणार नाहीत किंवा माझ्या शांतीचा करार ढळणार नाही, असे तुझ्यावर दया करणारा परमेश्वर म्हणतो.

11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

११अगे जाचलेले, वादळाने मस्त झालेले आणि सांत्वन न पावलेले, पाहा, तुझे पाषाण सुरम्य रंगात बसवीन, आणि तुझा पाया नीलमण्यांनी घालीन.

12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.

१२तुझा कळस माणकांचा आणि तुझ्या वेशी मी चकाकणारी रत्ने करीन, आणि बाहेरील भींत सुंदर खड्यांची करीन.

13 And all thy children shall be taught of YHWH; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

१३आणि तुझ्या सर्व मुलांना परमेश्वर शिकवील; आणि तुमच्या मुलांची शांती महान असेल.

14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

१४नीतिमत्तेत तू स्थापीत होशील. तुला येथून पुढे छळाचा अनुभव येणार नाही, कारण तू भिणार नाही, आणि तुला घाबरवण्यास कोणीही तुझ्याजवळ येणार नाही.

15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

१५पाहा, जर कोणीएक अशांतता निर्माण करीत असेल, तर ती माझ्यापसून नाही; कोणीएक तुझ्याबरोबर अशांतता निर्माण करतो तो अपयशात पडेल.

16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

१६पाहा, मी लोहाराला निर्माण केले, जो तो विस्तव फुलावा म्हणून हवा फुंकतो आणि आपल्या कामासाठी हत्यार घडवितो आणि विनाशासाठी मी विनाशक उत्पन्न करतो.

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of YHWH, and their righteousness is of me, saith YHWH.

१७तुझ्याविरुध्द तयार केलेले कोणतेही हत्यार सफल होणार नाही; आणि तुजवर आरोप ठेवणाऱ्या प्रत्येकास दोषी ठरवशील. परमेश्वराच्या सेवकाचे हेच वतन आणि माझ्यापासून त्यांचे समर्थन आहे.” हे परमेश्वराचे म्हणणे आहे.
