Jeremiah 33
1 Moreover the word of YHWH came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Jeremia zum andernmal, da er noch im Vorhof des Gefängnisses verschlossen war, und sprach:
2 Thus saith YHWH the maker thereof, YHWH that formed it, to establish it; YHWH is his name;
So spricht der HERR, der solches macht, tut und ausrichtet; HERR ist sein Name:
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Rufe mich, so will ich dir antworten und will dir anzeigen große und gewaltige Dinge, die du nicht weißt.
4 For thus saith YHWH, the Elohim of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
Denn so spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels, von den Häusern dieser Stadt und von den Häusern der Könige Judas, welche abgebrochen sind, Bollwerk zu machen zur Wehre,
5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
und von denen, so hereinkommen sind, daß sie wider die Chaldäer streiten mögen, daß sie dieselbigen füllen müssen mit toten Leichnamen, welche ich in meinem Zorn und Grimm erschlagen will; denn ich habe mein Angesicht von dieser Stadt verborgen um aller ihrer Bosheit willen:
6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
Siehe, ich will sie heilen und gesund machen und will sie des Gebets um Frieden und Treue gewähren.
7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
Denn ich will das Gefängnis Judas und das Gefängnis Israels wenden und will sie bauen wie von Anfang;
8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
und will sie reinigen von aller Missetat, damit sie wider mich gesündiget haben, und will ihnen vergeben alle Missetat, damit sie wider mich gesündigt und übertreten haben.
9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
Und das soll mir ein fröhlicher Name, Ruhm und Preis sein unter allen Heiden auf Erden, wenn sie hören werden all das Gute, das ich ihnen tue. Und werden sich verwundern und entsetzen über all dem Guten und über all dem Frieden, den ich ihnen geben will.
10 Thus saith YHWH; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
So spricht der HERR: An diesem Ort, davon ihr saget: Er ist wüst, weil weder Leute noch Vieh in den Städten Judas und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem bleibet, die so verwüstet sind, daß weder Leute noch Bürger noch Vieh drinnen ist,
11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise YHWH of hosts: for YHWH is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of YHWH. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith YHWH.
wird man dennoch wiederum hören Geschrei von Freude und Wonne, die Stimme des Bräutigams und der Braut und die Stimme derer, so da sagen: Danket dem HERRN Zebaoth, daß er so gnädig ist und tut immerdar Gutes! und derer, so da Dankopfer bringen zum Hause des HERRN. Denn ich will des Landes Gefängnis wenden wie von Anfang, spricht der HERR.
12 Thus saith YHWH of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: An diesem Ort, der so wüst ist, daß weder Leute noch Vieh drinnen sind, und in allen seinen Städten werden dennoch wiederum Hirtenhäuser sein, die da Herden weiden,
13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith YHWH.
beide, in Städten auf den Gebirgen und in Städten in Gründen und in Städten gegen Mittag, im Lande Benjamin und um Jerusalem her und in Städten Judas; es sollen dennoch wiederum die Herden gezählet aus- und eingehen, spricht der HERR.
14 Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
Siehe, es kommt die Zeit, spricht der HERR, daß ich das gnädige Wort erwecken will, welches ich dem Hause Israel und dem Hause Juda geredet habe.
15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
In denselbigen Tagen und zur selbigen Zeit will ich dem David ein gerecht Gewächs aufgehen lassen; und soll ein König sein, der wohl regieren wird, und soll Recht und Gerechtigkeit anrichten auf Erden.
16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, YHWH our righteousness.
Zur selbigen Zeit soll Juda geholfen werden und Jerusalem sicher wohnen; und man wird ihn nennen: Der HERR, der unsere Gerechtigkeit ist.
17 For thus saith YHWH; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
Denn so spricht der HERR: Es soll nimmermehr fehlen, es soll einer von David sitzen auf dem Stuhl des Hauses Israel.
18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
Desgleichen soll's nimmermehr fehlen, es sollen Priester und Leviten sein vor mir, die da Brandopfer tun und Speisopfer anzünden und Opfer schlachten ewiglich.
19 And the word of YHWH came unto Jeremiah, saying,
Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Jeremia und sprach:
20 Thus saith YHWH; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
So spricht der HERR: Wenn mein Bund aufhören wird mit dem Tage und Nacht, daß nicht Tag und Nacht sei zu seiner Zeit,
21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
so wird auch mein Bund aufhören mit meinem Knechte David, daß er nicht einen Sohn habe zum Könige auf seinem Stuhl, und mit den Leviten und Priestern, meinen Dienern.
22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
Wie man des Himmels Heer nicht zählen noch den Sand am Meer nicht messen kann, also will ich mehren den Samen Davids, meines Knechts, und die Leviten, die mir dienen.
23 Moreover the word of YHWH came to Jeremiah, saying,
Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Jeremia und sprach:
24 Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which YHWH hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
Hast du nicht gesehen, was dies Volk redet und spricht: Hat doch der HERR auch die zwei Geschlechter verworfen, welche er auserwählet hatte; und lästern mein Volk, als sollten sie nicht mehr mein Volk sein.
25 Thus saith YHWH; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
So spricht der HERR: Halte ich meinen Bund nicht mit Tag und Nacht noch die Ordnung des Himmels und der Erde,
26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
so will ich auch verwerfen den Samen Jakobs und Davids, meines Knechts, daß ich nicht aus ihrem Samen nehme, die da herrschen über den Samen Abrahams, Isaaks und Jakobs. Denn ich will ihr Gefängnis wenden und mich über sie erbarmen.
