Psalms 74

1 O Elohim, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?

१आसाफाचे स्तोत्र हे देवा, तू आम्हास सर्वकाळ का सोडून दिले आहेस? आपल्या कुरणातील कळपांवर तुझा कोपाग्नि का भडकत आहे?

2 Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.

२तू प्राचीनकाळी जी मंडळी विकत घेतली, जिला तू आपले वारस होण्याकरता खंडणी भरून सोडविले तिचे, व ज्या सीयोन पर्वतावर तू वस्ती केली त्याची आठवण कर.

3 Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.

३पूर्णपणे विध्वंस झालेल्याकडे या, शत्रूने सर्व पवित्रस्थानाचे कसे नुकसान केले आहे ते पहा.

4 Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.

४तुझ्या सभास्थानात तुझे शत्रू गर्जना करीत आहेत; त्यांनी युद्धाची झेंडे उभारले आहेत.

5 A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.

५जसे दाट झाडीवर कुऱ्हाडीने छिन्नविछीन्न करणाऱ्या मनुष्याप्रमाणे ते त्यांना दिसले.

6 But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.

६त्यांनी कुऱ्हाडीने आणि हातोडीने सर्व कोरीव काम तोडून आणि फोडून टाकले.

7 They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.

७त्यांनी तुझ्या पवित्रस्थानाला आग लावली; जेथे तू राहतो त्याचे पावित्र्य भ्रष्ट केले, धुळीस मिळविले.

8 They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of El in the land.

८ते आपल्या अंतःकरणात म्हणाले, आपण ह्यांचा नायनाट करून टाकू. त्यांनी देशात असलेली देवाची सर्व सभास्थाने जाळून टाकली आहेत.

9 We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.

९आम्हास देवाकडून कोणतेही चिन्ह मिळाले नाही, कोणी संदेष्टा उरला नाही; असे कोठवर चालेल हे जाणणारा आमच्यामध्ये कोणी नाही.

10 O Elohim, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

१०हे देवा, शत्रू किती वेळ माझा अपमान करील? शत्रू तुझ्या नावाची निंदा सर्वकाळ करणार काय?

11 Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.

११तू आपला हात, आपला उजवा हात का मागे आवरून धरतोस? तू आपला उजवा हात आपल्या अंगरख्यातून काढ आणि त्यांना नष्ट कर?

12 For Elohim is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

१२तरी देव, प्राचीन काळापासून माझा राजा आहे, पृथ्वीवर तारणारा तो आहे.

13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

१३तू आपल्या सामर्थ्याने समुद्र दुभागला; तू समुद्रातील प्रचंड प्राण्यांची मस्तके पाण्यात फोडली.

14 Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.

१४तू लिव्याथानाचे मस्तक ठेचले; रानात राहणाऱ्यास तो खाऊ घातला.

15 Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.

१५तू झरे आणि प्रवाह फोडून उघडले; तू वाहणाऱ्या नद्या कोरड्या केल्या.

16 The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

१६दिवस तुझा आहे आणि रात्रही तुझीच आहे; तू सूर्य आणि चंद्र त्यांच्या जागी ठेवले.

17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.

१७तू पृथ्वीच्या सर्व सीमा ठरविल्या आहेत; तू उन्हाळा आणि हिवाळा केलास.

18 Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O YHWH, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

१८हे परमेश्वरा, वैऱ्याने तुझ्याकडे अपमान भिरकावला आहे; आणि मूर्ख लोकांनी तुझ्या नावाची निंदा केली आहे त्याची आठवण कर

19 O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.

१९तू आपल्या कबुतराचा जीव वन्यपशूच्या स्वाधीन करू नकोस. आपल्या दडपशाहीचे जिवन सर्वकाळ विसरू नकोस.

20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.

२०तू आपल्या कराराची आठवण कर, कारण पृथ्वीवरील काळोखी प्रदेश पूर्ण हिंसाचाराची ठिकाणे आहेत.

21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.

२१दडपलेल्यास लज्जित होऊन मागे फिरू देऊ नको; गरीब आणि दडपलेले तुझ्या नावाची स्तुती करोत.

22 Arise, O Elohim, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.

२२हे देवा, ऊठ, आपल्या सन्मानाचे समर्थन स्वतःच कर; मूर्ख दिवसभर तुझा अपमान करत आहे याची आठवण कर.

23 Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.

२३तुझ्या शत्रूंचा आवाज विसरू नको, किंवा तुझा विरोध करणाऱ्यांचा गोंगाट एकसारखा वर चढत आहे.
