1 Corinthians 3
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, [even] as unto babes in Christ.
೧ಆದರೆ ಸಹೋದರರೇ ನಾನಂತೂ ಆತ್ಮೀಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಳೆಗೂಸುಗಳೂ ಆಗಿರುವವರ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able [to bear it], neither yet now are ye able.
೨ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಾಲು ಕುಡಿಸಿದೆನು ಆಹಾರ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗಲೂ ನೀವು ಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas [there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
೩ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚು ಜಗಳಗಳು ಇರುವಲ್ಲಿ, ನೀವು ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕೇವಲ ಬೇರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲವೆ?
4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I [am] of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
೪ಒಬ್ಬನು, “ನಾನು ಪೌಲನವನು” ಎಂದು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು, “ನಾನು ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನವನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೇವಲ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲವೇ?
5 Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
೫ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನು ಯಾರು? ಪೌಲನು ಯಾರು? ಅವರ ಸೇವೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ನಂಬುವವರಾದಿರಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರು ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
೬ನಾನು ಸಸಿಯನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟೆನು. ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನು ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ಯಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿದವನು ದೇವರೇ.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
೭ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ನೆಡುವವನಾಗಲಿ, ನೀರುಹೊಯ್ಯುವವನಾಗಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದವನಲ್ಲ. ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ದೇವರೇ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯವಾದಾತನು.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
೮ನೆಡುವವನೂ, ನೀರು ಹೊಯ್ಯುವವನೂ ಸರಿಸಮಾನರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅವನವನ ಶಮ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಕೂಲಿಯು ದೊರೆಯುವುದು.
9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, [ye are] God’s building.
೯ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಜೊತೆಕೆಲಸದವರು. ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಹೊಲವೂ. ದೇವರ ಮಂದಿರವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
೧೦ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕೃಪೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ಜಾಣ್ಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪ್ರವೀಣನಾದ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯಂತೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರ ಹಾಕಿದೆನು. ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ತಾನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
೧೧ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೆಂಬ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಹಾಕಲಾರರಷ್ಟೆ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
೧೨ಆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿನ್ನ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ರತ್ನಗಳು, ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ, ಹುಲ್ಲು, ಆಪು ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದರಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿದರೂ,
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
೧೩ಅವನವನ ಕೆಲಸವು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುವುದು. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಬರುವ ದಿನವು ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಡನೆ ಉದಯವಾಗಿ ಆ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸುವುದು. ಅವನವನ ಕೆಲಸವೆಂಥದೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಶೋಧಿಸುವುದು.
14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
೧೪ಒಬ್ಬನು ಆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಉಳಿದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದು.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
೧೫ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗುವುದು. ತಾನಾದರೋ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನ ಹಾಗಿರುವನು.
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
೧೬ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವಾಗಿದ್ದೀರೆಂದೂ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆಂದೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are.
೧೭ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವನು. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವು ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದದ್ದು ಆ ಆಲಯವು ನೀವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. (aiōn g165)
೧೮ಯಾವನೂ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಲೋಕಸಂಬಂಧವಾಗಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾದರೆ ಅವನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ “ಮೂರ್ಖನಾಗಲಿ” (aiōn g165)
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
೧೯ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಹಲೋಕದ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೂರ್ಖತನವಾಗಿದೆ. “ಆತನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ತಂತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೆ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂತಲೂ,”
20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
೨೦“ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳು ನಿಷ್ಫಲವಾದವುಗಳೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂತಲೂ” ಬರೆದದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ
21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
೨೧ಆದಕಾರಣ ಮನುಷ್ಯಮಾತ್ರದವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರಲಿ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದೆ.
22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
೨೨ಪೌಲನಾಗಲಿ, ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನಾಗಲಿ, ಕೇಫನಾಗಲಿ ಲೋಕವಾಗಲಿ, ಜೀವವಾಗಲಿ ಮರಣವಾಗಲಿ ಈಗಿನ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಮುಂದಣ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮದೇ.
23 And ye are Christ’s; and Christ [is] God’s.
೨೩ನೀವಂತೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನವರು, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ದೇವರಿನವನು.
