2 Chronicles 3
1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where [the Lord] appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
Y comenzó Salomón a edificar la casa de Jehová en Jerusalem en el monte Moria, que había sido mostrado a David su padre, en el lugar que David había aparejado en la era de Ornán Jebuseo.
2 And he began to build in the second [day] of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
Y comenzó a edificar en el mes segundo, a los dos del mes, en el cuarto año de su reino.
3 Now these [are the things wherein] Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure [was] threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
Estas son las medidas de que Salomón fundó el edificio de la casa de Dios. La primera medida fue la longitud de sesenta codos: y la anchura de veinte codos.
4 And the porch that [was] in the front [of the house], the length [of it was] according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height [was] an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
El portal que estaba en la delantera de la longitud era de veinte codos delante de la anchura de la casa: su altura era de ciento y veinte: y cubrióla de dentro de oro puro.
5 And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
Mas la casa mayor cubrió de madera de haya, la cual cubrió de buen oro, y sobre ella hizo subir palmas y cadenas.
6 And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold [was] gold of Parvaim.
Y cubrió la casa de piedras preciosas por excelencia: y el oro era oro de Parvaim.
7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
Así cubrió la casa, vigas, umbrales, sus paredes, y sus puertas de oro: y esculpió querubines por las paredes.
8 And he made the most holy house, the length whereof [was] according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, [amounting] to six hundred talents.
E hizo la casa del lugar santísimo, su longitud de veinte codos en la frontera de la anchura de la casa, y su anchura de veinte codos: y cubrióla de buen oro con seiscientos talentos.
9 And the weight of the nails [was] fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
Y el peso de los clavos tuvo cincuenta siclos de oro: asimismo cubrió de oro las salas.
10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
E hizo dentro del lugar santísimo dos querubines de hechura de niños, los cuales cubrieron de oro.
11 And the wings of the cherubims [were] twenty cubits long: one wing [of the one cherub was] five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing [was likewise] five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
La longitud de las alas de los querubines era de veinte codos; porque la una ala era de cinco codos, la cual llegaba hasta la pared de la casa; y la otra ala de cinco codos, la cual llegaba al ala del otro querubín.
12 And [one] wing of the other cherub [was] five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing [was] five cubits [also], joining to the wing of the other cherub.
De la misma manera la una ala del otro querubín era de cinco codos, la cual llegaba hasta la pared de la casa; y la otra ala era de cinco codos, que tocaba al ala del otro querubín.
13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces [were] inward.
Así las alas de estos querubines estaban extendidas por veinte codos: y ellos estaban en pie, los rostros hacia la casa.
14 And he made the vail [of] blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.
Hizo también un velo de cárdeno, púrpura, carmesí, y lino, e hizo subir en él querubines.
15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that [was] on the top of each of them [was] five cubits.
Delante de la casa hizo dos columnas de longitud de treinta y cinco codos, y el capitel que estaba en la cabeza, de cinco codos.
16 And he made chains, [as] in the oracle, and put [them] on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put [them] on the chains.
Hizo también unas cadenas en el oratorio, y púsolas sobre los capiteles de las columnas: e hizo cien granadas, las cuales puso en las cadenas.
17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
Y asentó las columnas delante del templo: la una a la mano derecha, y la otra a la izquierda; y a la de la mano derecha llamó Jaquín, y a la de la izquierda Boaz.
