Psalms 149

1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, [and] his praise in the congregation of saints.

യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക. യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഒരു നവഗാനം ആലപിക്കുക, അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തരുടെ സഭയിൽ അവിടത്തെ സ്തുതിയും.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

ഇസ്രായേൽ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്രഷ്ടാവിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ; സീയോന്റെ മക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ രാജാവിൽ ആഹ്ലാദിക്കട്ടെ.

3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

അവർ നൃത്തമാടിക്കൊണ്ട് തിരുനാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ തപ്പുകൊട്ടിയും കിന്നരംമീട്ടിയും അവിടത്തേക്ക് സംഗീതമാലപിക്കട്ടെ.

4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

കാരണം യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് വിനയാന്വിതരെ വിജയകിരീടം അണിയിക്കുന്നു.

5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തർ അവിടത്തെ മഹത്ത്വത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കിടക്കകളിൽ ആനന്ദഗീതം ആലപിക്കട്ടെ.

6 [Let] the high [praises] of God [be] in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്തുതി അവരുടെ വായിലും ഇരുവായ്ത്തലയുള്ള വാൾ അവരുടെ കൈകളിലും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കട്ടെ,

7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, [and] punishments upon the people;

രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളോട് പ്രതികാരംചെയ്യുന്നതിനും ജനതകൾക്കു ശിക്ഷ നൽകുന്നതിനും

8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ചങ്ങലകളാലും അവരുടെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഇരുമ്പു വിലങ്ങുകളാലും ബന്ധിക്കുന്നതിനും

9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

അവർക്കെതിരേ എഴുതപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ന്യായവിധി നടപ്പിൽവരുത്തുന്നതിനുംതന്നെ— ഇത് അവിടത്തെ എല്ലാ വിശ്വസ്തർക്കുമുള്ള ബഹുമതിയാകുന്നു. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.
