Job 27
1 And Job further continued and said in his parable,
೧ಆಗ ಯೋಬನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆಂದನು,
2 [As] God lives, who has thus judge me; and the Almighty, who has embittered my soul;
೨“ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿದೆ, ದೇವರು ಊದಿದ ಶ್ವಾಸವು ನನ್ನ ಮೂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಆಡುತ್ತಿದೆ (ಕೇಳಿರಿ)!
3 verily, while my breath is yet in [me], and the breath of God which remains to me is in my nostrils,
೩ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ ದೇವರಾಣೆ, ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಥೆಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಾಣೆ,
4 my lips shall not speak evil words, neither shall my soul meditate unrighteous thoughts.
೪ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಮೋಸದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
5 Far be it from me that I should justify you till I die; for I will not let go my innocence,
೫ನೀವು ನ್ಯಾಯವಂತರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಒಪ್ಪುವುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಸಾಯುವ ತನಕ ನನ್ನ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
6 but keeping fast to [my] righteousness I will by no means let it go: for I am not conscious to myself of having done any thing amiss.
೬ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬಿಡದೆ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನದ ಯಾವ ದಿನಚರಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ತಪ್ಪು ತೋರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
7 Nay rather, but let mine enemies be as the overthrow of the ungodly, and they that rise up against me, as the destruction of transgressors.
೭ನನ್ನ ಹಗೆಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟನ ಗತಿಯಾಗಲಿ, ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದವನು ಅ ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲಿ!
8 For what is the hope of the ungodly, that he holds to it? will he indeed trust in the Lord [and] be saved?
೮ದೇವರು ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಎಳೆಯುವಾಗ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೆಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು?
9 Will God hear his prayer? or, when distress has come upon him,
೯ಅವನಿಗೆ ಶ್ರಮೆ ಬರಲು, ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಲೈಸುವನೋ?
10 has he any confidence before him? or will [God] hear him as he calls upon him?
೧೦ಅವನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಪಟ್ಟು, ಆತನನ್ನು ಸರ್ವದಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವನೇ?
11 Yet now I will tell you what is in the hand of the Lord: I will not lie concerning the things which are with the Almighty.
೧೧ನಾನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡದೆ; ದೇವರ ಹಸ್ತದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವೆನು.
12 Behold, you all know that you are adding vanity to vanity.
೧೨ಇಗೋ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ಸ್ವತಃ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಏಕೆ ಇಂಥ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಿ?
13 This is the portion of an ungodly man from the Lord, and the possession of oppressors shall come upon them from the Almighty.
೧೩ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ ದೇವರಿಂದ ದೊರೆಯುವ ಪಾಲೂ, ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವೂ ಹೀಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
14 And if their children be many, they shall be for slaughter: and if they grow up, they shall beg.
೧೪ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದರೆ ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗುವರು, ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನದ ಕೊರತೆ ತಪ್ಪದು.
15 And they that survive of him shall utterly perish, and no one shall pity their widows.
೧೫ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಉಳಿದರೆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವುದು, ಅವರ ವಿಧವೆಯರು ದುಃಖಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
16 Even if he should gather silver as earth, and prepare gold as clay;
೧೬ಅವನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಧೂಳಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇರಳವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಟ್ಟು, ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಣ್ಣಿನಂತೆ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೂ,
17 All these things shall the righteous gain, and the true-hearted shall possess his wealth.
೧೭ಆ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
18 And his house is gone like moths, and like a spider's web.
೧೮ಅವನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡ ಮನೆಯು ಜೇಡರ ಹುಳದ ಗೂಡಿನಂತೆಯೂ, ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡ ಗುಡಿಸಿಲಂತೆಯೂ ದುರ್ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
19 The rich man shall lie down, and shall not continue: he has opened his eyes, and he is not.
೧೯ಅವನು ಧನಿಕನಾಗಿ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದರೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ನಿದ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು, ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುತ್ತಲೇ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಮಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
20 Pains have come upon him as water, and darkness has carried him away by night.
೨೦ವಿಪತ್ತಿನ ಹೊಳೆಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವವು, ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸುವುದು.
21 And a burning wind shall catch him, and he shall depart, and it shall utterly drive him out of his place.
೨೧ಮೂಡಣ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಹಾರಿ ಹೋಗುವನು, ಅದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಡಿದು ಅವನ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ದೂರಮಾಡುವುದು.
22 And [God] shall cast [trouble] upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
೨೨ಆ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಕರುಣೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಎಸೆಯುತ್ತಲಿರುವನು, ಅವನು ಆತನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲೇ ಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವನು.
23 He shall cause [men] to clap their hands against them, and shall hiss him out of his place.
೨೩ಜನರು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆಹೊಡೆದು ಛೀಮಾರಿ ಹಾಕಿ, ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸುವರು.”
