2 Samuel 12
1 YHWH sent Nathan to David. He came to him, and said to him, "There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
၁နောက်တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ပရောဖက် နာသန်ကို ဒါဝိဒ်ထံသို့ စေလွှတ်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ နာသန် သည်ဝင်၍၊ အရှင်မင်းကြီး၊ ဤမည်သောမြို့တွင် သူဌေးတဦး၊ ဆင်းရဲသားတဦးရှိပါ၏။
2 The rich man had very many flocks and herds,
၂သူဌေးသည် အလွန်များစွာသော သိုးနွားမှ စသည်တို့နှင့် ကြွယ်ဝပြည့်စုံပါ၏။
3 but the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and raised. It grew up together with him, and with his children. It ate of his own food, drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was to him like a daughter.
၃ဆင်းရဲသားမူကား၊ မိမိဝယ်၍ မွေးစားသော သိုးမကလေးတကောင်တည်းမှ တပါးတခြားသော ဥစ္စာ မရှိပါ။ ထိုသိုးမကလေးသည် အရှင်နှင့်၎င်း၊ အရှင်၏ သားသမီးတို့နှင့်၎င်း ပေါင်း၍ ကြီးပွား၏။ အရှင်၏ အစာကို စားတတ်၏။ အရှင်၏ရေခွက်၌သောက်တတ်၏။ အရှင်၏ ရင်ခွင်၌ အိပ်၍ သမီးကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။
4 A traveler came to the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man who had come to him, but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man who had come to him."
၄သူဌေးအိမ်သို့ ဧည့်သည်တဦးရောက်၍ သူဌေးသည် ဧည့်သည်ကို လုပ်ကျွေးဘို့ မိမိသိုးနွားများကို နှမြော သောကြောင့် မယူ၊ ဆင်းရဲသား၏သိုးမကလေးကိုယူ၍ ဧည့်သည်ကို လုပ်ကျွေးဘို့ ချက်ပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်လေသော်၊
5 David's anger was greatly kindled against the man, and he said to Nathan, "As YHWH lives, the man who has done this is worthy to die.
၅ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ထိုသူဌေးကိုပြင်းစွာအမျက်ထွက်၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ထိုသို့ ပြုသောသူသည် အမှန်သေရမည်။
6 He shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity."
၆ကရုဏစိတ်မရှိဘဲထိုအမှုကိုပြုသောကြောင့်၊ ထိုသိုးမကလေးအတွက် လေးဆပြန်ပေးရမည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
7 Nathan said to David, "You are the man. This is what YHWH, the God of Israel, says: 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.
၇နာသန်ကလည်း၊ ထိုသူသည်ကား အခြားသူမဟုတ်။ ကိုယ်တော်ပင် ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရးသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါသည် ဘိသိက်ပေး၍ သင့်ကို ဣသရေလရှင်ဘုရင်အရာ၌ ခန့်ထားပြီ။ ရှောလုလက်မှလည်း ကယ်လွှတ်ပြီ။
8 I gave you your master's house, and your master's wives into your bosom, and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that would have been too little, I would have added to you many more such things.
၈သင့်သခင်၏ အဆွေအမျိုးကို၎င်း၊ သင့်သခင်၏ မယားတို့ကို၎င်း၊ သင်၏ရင်ခွင်၌ ငါအပ်ပေးပြီ။ ဣသ ရေလအမျိုးနှင့် ယုဒအမျိုးကို ငါပေးပြီ။ ထိုအရာများ မလောက်လျှင် အခြားတပါးသောအရာရာတို့ကို ပေးခြင်း ငှါ ငါအလိုရှိ၏။
9 Why have you despised YHWH, to do that which is evil in his sight? You have struck Uriah the Hethite with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife, and have slain him with the sword of the people of Ammon.
၉သင်သည်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြု၍ ရှေ့တော်၌ဒုစရိုက်ကို အဘယ်ကြောင့် ပြုဘိသနည်း။ ဟိတ္တိလူ၊ ဥရိယ၏အသက်ကို ထားဖြင့်သတ်၍ သူ၏မယားကို သိမ်းလေပြီတကား။ ထိုသူကို အမ္မုန်အမျိုးသား ထားနှင့်သတ်လေပြီတကား။
10 Now therefore the sword will never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hethite to be your wife.'
၁၀ယခုမှာသင်သည် ငါ့ကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြု၍ ဟိတ္တိလူ၊ ဥရိယ၏မယားကို သိမ်းသောကြောင့်၊ သင့်အဆွေအမျိုးတို့သည် ထားဘေးနှင့်အစဉ် တွေ့ကြုံရကြလိမ့်မည်။
11 "This is what YHWH says: 'Look, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes, and give them to your neighbor, and he will lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.
၁၁ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင်၌ ရန်ဘက်ပြုသော သူကို သင်၏အဆွေအမျိုးတို့အထဲက ငါပေါ်စေမည်။ သင့်မျက်မှောက်တွင် သင်၏မယားတို့ကို ငါယူ၍ သင့်အိမ်နီးချင်း၌အပ်သဖြင့်၊ သူသည် နေရှေ့မှာ သင်၏မယားတို့နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော်လိမ့်မည်။
12 For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.'"
၁၂သင်သည် ဤအမှုကိုမထင်မရှားပြုသော်လည်း၊ နေရှေ့မှာ ငါလှန်ပြမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော် မူသော စကားကိုပြန်ကြားလေ၏။
13 David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against YHWH." Nathan said to David, "YHWH also has put away your sin. You will not die.
၁၃ဒါဝိဒ်ကလည်း၊ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ပြစ်မှားပါပြီဟု နာသန်အား ဝန်ချ၍ နာသန်က၊ အသက် တော်ကို ချမ်းသာစေခြင်းငှါ၊ တာဝရဘုရားသည် ကိုယ်တော်အပြစ်ကို ပယ်တော်မူပြီ။
14 However, because by this deed you have shown utter contempt for YHWH, the child also who is born to you shall surely die."
၁၄သို့သော်လည်း ကိုယ်တော်သည် ထိုသို့ပြစ်မှား သောအားဖြင့်၊ ကဲ့ရဲ့စရာအခွင့်ကြီးကို ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ရန်သူတို့အားပေးသောကြောင့်၊ ယခုမြင်သောသားသည် ဆက်ဆက်သေရမည်ဟု ဒါဝိဒ်အားလျှောက် ဆိုပြီးလျှင်၊
15 Then Nathan went to his home. And God struck the child that Uriah's wife bore to David, and it was very sick.
၁၅နန်းတော်မှ ထွက်သွားသောနောက်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဒဏ်ခတ်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ဥရိယမယားတွင် ဘွားမြင်သော ဒါဝိဒ်၏သားသည် ပြင်းစွာသော ဝေဒနာကို ခံရ၏။
16 Then David sought from God on behalf of the child. And David fasted, and went in and lay all night on the ground.
၁၆ဒါဝိဒ်သည် သူငယ်အတွက် ထာဝရဘုရားအား တောင်းပန်လေ၏။ အစာကိုရှောင်လျက်၊ အထဲသို့ဝင်၍ တညဉ့်လုံးမြေပေါ်မှာ အိပ်လျက်နေ၏။
17 And the elders of his house approached him to lift him up from the ground, but he was unwilling, and he would not eat food with them.
၁၇နန်းတော်သား အသက်ကြီးသူတို့သည်ထ၍ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ချီကြွအံ့သောငှါ ချဉ်းကပ်ကြသော်လည်း၊ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ငြင်းပယ်၍ သူတို့နှင့်အတူ အစာမစားဘဲနေ၏။
18 It happened on the seventh day, that the child died. The servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead; for they said, "Look, while the child was yet alive, we spoke to him, and he did not listen to our voice. How will he then harm himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?"
၁၈ခုနစ်ရက်စေ့သော် သူငယ်သေ၏။ ဒါဝိဒ်၏ ကျွန်တို့ကလည်း၊ သူငယ်အသက်ရှင်စဉ်အခါ ငါတို့ လျှောက်သော စကားကိုနားထောင်တော်မမူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သူငယ်သေကြောင်းကို လျှောက်လျှင် အလွန်ကိုယ်ကို ကိုယ်ညှဉ်းဆဲတော်မူလိမ့်မည်ဟုဆိုလျှက် သူငယ် သေကြောင်းကို မလျှောက်ဝံ့ကြ။
19 But when David noticed that his servants were whispering together, David perceived that the child was dead; and David said to his servants, "Is the child dead?" They said, "He is dead."
၁၉သို့ရာတွင် ကျွန်တို့သည် တိုးတိုးပြောသောစကားကို ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ကြားလျှင်၊ သူငယ်သေကြောင်းကို ရိပ်မိသဖြင့်၊ သူငယ်သေပြီလောဟု ကျွန်တို့ကို မေးတော်မူ၏။ သူတို့ကလည်းသေပါပြီဟု လျှောက်ကြ၏။
20 Then David arose from the ground, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his clothing; and he came into the house of YHWH, and worshiped. Then he went to his own house, and he asked for bread to eat. And they set bread before him, and he ate.
၂၀ထိုအခါ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် မြေမှထ၍ ရေချိုးခြင်း၊ ဆီလိမ်းခြင်း၊ အဝတ်လဲခြင်းကို ပြုပြီးလျှင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ်တော်သို့သွား၍ ကိုးကွယ်၏။ ထိုနောက် နန်းတော်သို့ ပြန်လာ၍ စားစရာကိုတောင်းသောအခါ၊ ကျွန်တို့ သည် စားပွဲတော်ကိုပြင်၍ မင်းကြီးသည် စားတော်မူ၏။
21 Then his servants said to him, "What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept and kept vigil for the child while he was alive; but when the child was dead, you rose up and ate bread."
၂၁ကျွန်တို့ကလည်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အဘယ်သို့ ပြုတော်မူသနည်း။ သူငယ်အသက်ရှင်စဉ်အခါ၊ သူငယ် အတွက် အစာရှောင်လျက် ငိုကြွေးလျက် နေတော်မူ၏။ သူငယ်သေသောအခါထ၍ စားတော်ခေါ်ပါသည်တကားဟု လျှောက်လျှင်၊
22 He said, "While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, 'Who knows whether YHWH will not be gracious to me, that the child may live?'
၂၂ဒါဝိဒ်က၊ သူငယ်အသက်ရှင်စဉ်အခါ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါ့ကို သနားတော်မူ၍၊ သူငယ်အသက်ကို ချမ်းသာပေးတော်မမူမည်ကို အဘယ်သူ ဆိုနိုင်သနည်းဟု အောက်မေ့လျက် ငါသည် အစာရှောင်၍ ငိုကြွေး လျက်နေ၏။
23 But now he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me."
၂၃ယခုမှာသူငယ်သေပြီ။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် အစာရှောင်ရမည်နည်း။ သူငယ်ကိုပြန်၍ ဆောင်ခဲ့နိုင်သလော။ သူရှိရာသို့ ငါသွားရမည်။ သူသည် ငါရှိရာသို့ မပြန်မလာ ရဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
24 David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in to her, and lay with her. She bore a son, and he called his name Solomon. YHWH loved him;
၂၄တဖန်ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ခင်ပွန်းဗာသရှေဘကို နှစ်သိမ့်စေသဖြင့်၊ သူ့ထံသို့ဝင်၍ ဆက်ဆံလေ၏။ သူ သည်လည်း သားယောက်ျားကို ဘွားမြင်၍ ရှောလမုန်အမည်ဖြင့် အဘမှည့်လေ၏။
25 and he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and he named him Jedidiah, for YHWH's sake.
၂၅ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ထိုသူငယ်ကိုချစ်၍ ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ပရောဖက်နာသန်ကို စေခိုင်း၍ ယေဒိဒိ အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်တော်မူ၏။
26 Now Joab fought against Rabbah of the people of Ammon, and took the royal city.
၂၆ယွာဘသည်လည်း အမ္မုန်ပြည်၊ ရဗ္ဗာမြို့ကို တိုက်၍ မြို့တော်ကို ရပြီးမှ၊
27 Joab sent messengers to David, and said, "I have fought against Rabbah, and have also taken the water supply of the city.
၂၇ဒါဝိဒ်ထံတော်သို့လူကို စေလွှတ်၍၊ ကျွန်တော်သည် ရဗ္ဗာမြို့ကို တိုက်၍ ကန်တော်ရှိရာမြို့ကိုရပါပြီ။
28 Now therefore gather the rest of the people together, and besiege the city and capture it yourself, or I will capture the city, and it will be named after me."
၂၈ယခုမှာကြွင်းသော လူတို့ကို စုဝေးစေသဖြင့်၊ မြို့နားမှာ တပ်တော်ချ၍ တိုက်ယူတော်မူပါ။ သို့မဟုတ် ကျွန်တော်ယူ၍ ကျွန်တော်အမည်ဖြင့် မြို့ကို သမုတ်ကြ လိမ့်မည်ဟု လျှောက်လျှင်၊
29 David gathered all the people together, and went to Rabbah, and fought against it, and took it.
၂၉ဒါဝိဒ်သည် လူအပေါင်းတို့ကို စုဝေးစေသဖြင့်၊ ရဗ္ဗာမြို့သို့ ချီသွား၍ တိုက်ယူလေ၏။
30 He took the crown of their king from off his head; and its weight was a talent of gold, and in it were precious stones; and it was set on David's head. He brought out the spoil of the city, a very great amount.
၃၀မင်းကြီး၏သရဖူကို ချွတ်ယူ၍ ခေါင်းတော်ပေါ် မှာတင်ကြ၏။ သရဖူအချိန်ကား ကျောက်မြတ်ကို မဆိုဘဲ ရွှေအခွက်တဆယ်ရှိသတည်း။ မြို့၌လုယူသော ဥစ္စာ အများကိုလည်း ထုတ်လေ၏။
31 He brought out the people who were in it, and put them to work with saws, and iron picks, and iron axes, and to labor at the brick kiln. And he did the same to all the cities of the people of Ammon. David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
၃၁မြို့သားတို့ကိုလည်း ထုတ်ဆောင်၍ လွှတိုက်မှု၊ သံထွန်၊ သံပုဆိန်နှင့်အလုပ်မှုကို လုပ်စေ၍ အုတ်ဖို၌ လည်း ကျင်လည်စေ၏။ ထိုသို့ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် အမ္မုန်မြို့သူ ရွာသားအပေါင်းတို့၌ ပြုပြီးမှ၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့နှင့်အတူ ယေရုရှင်လင်မြို့သို့ ပြန်လေ၏။
