< Zechariah 10 >

1 Ask from the Lord rain, at the time of spring rain, from the Lord who forms the storm clouds, and the showers of rain he gives to you, and green in the field.
Agdawatkayo iti tudo kenni Yahweh iti panawen iti panagrurusing—ni Yahweh a mangar-aramid kadagiti bagio! —ket mangipaayto isuna iti tudo kadakuada, ken kadagiti mula kadagiti talon nga agpaay iti sangkataoan.
2 But the household gods speak nonsense, and the diviners see lies, and relate idle dreams. In vain they offer comfort, so the people wander like sheep, They suffer because there is no shepherd.
Ta saan a pudno ti ibagbaga dagiti didiosen; agipadpadto iti ulbod dagiti mammadto; agipatpatarusda kadagiti manangallilaw a tagtagainep ken ubbaw ti panangliwliwada, isu a maiyaw-awanda a kas iti karnero ken agsagabada gapu ta awan ti agpaspastor.
3 My wrath is hot against the shepherds, and on the leaders will I bring punishment. For the Lord cares for his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them his splendid war steeds.
Ti pungtotko kadagiti agpaspastor ket kasla apuy a sumsumged; daytoy dagiti kalakian a kalding—dagiti mangingidaulo—a dusaekto; aywananto ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin ti arbanna, dagiti tattao ti Juda, ket pagbalinennanto ida a kasla nabileg a kabalio iti gubatan!
4 From Judah will come the cornerstone and the stay, from them the battle bow, from them goes forth every commander.
Tumaudto kadakuada ti pasuli a bato; tumaudto kadakuada ti pasok ti tolda; tumaudto kadakuada ti bai a pakigubat; tumaudto kadakuada dagiti amin a mangingidaulo.
5 Together they will trample on warriors, as on the dirt of the streets in battle. They fight, for the Lord is with them, putting the riders on horses to shame.
Kasladanto kadagiti mannakigubat a mangibaddebaddek kadagiti kabusorda iti pitak dagiti kalsada iti gubatan; makigubatdanto, gapu ta adda kadakuada ni Yahweh, ket parmekendanto dagiti nakasakay kadagiti kabalio a pakigubat.
6 I will make strong the house of Judah, I will bring deliverance to the house of Joseph, I will bring them back for I have compassion on them, they will be as if I had not driven them away. For I am the Lord their God and will answer them.
Papigsaekto ti balay ti Juda ken isalakankonto ti balay ni Jose; ta isublik manen ida ken kaasiak ida. Kaslanto saanko ida a linaksid, ta Siak ni Yahweh a Diosda, ket sumungbatakto kadakuada.
7 The Ephraimites will be like warriors, their hearts will rejoice as with wine, their children will see and rejoice. Their hearts will exult in the Lord.
Ket maiyarigto ti Efraim iti mannakigubat, ket agrag-onto dagiti pusoda a kasla nakainumda iti arak; makitanto dagiti annakda ket agrag-oda. Agrag-onto dagiti pusoda gapu kaniak!
8 I will whistle for them, and gather them, and they will be as many as they once were.
Paswitakto ida ket ummongek ida, gapu ta ispalekto ida, ket paaduekto ida a kas iti sigud a kaaduda!
9 I will sow them among the peoples, but in distant lands they will remember me, and they will bring up their children and come back.
Inwarasko ida kadagiti tattao ngem malagipdakto kadagiti adayo a pagilian, isu nga agbiag ken agsublidanto agraman dagiti annakda.
10 I will bring them home from the land of Egypt, and from Assyria will I gather them. Into the land of Gilead and Lebanon I will bring them, until the land overflows with them.
Gapu ta alaekto ida iti daga ti Egipto ket ummongek ida manipud iti Asiria. Ipankonto ida iti daga ti Galaad ken Libano agingga nga awanen ti pagnaedanda sadiay.
11 And when they pass through the sea of distress, I will strike down the waves of the sea, and all the deeps of the Nile will be dried up. The pride of Assyria will be brought low and the sceptre of Egypt turned aside.
Kuyogekto ida iti baybay ti rigrigatda; ablatakto dagiti dalluyon iti dayta a baybay ket pagmagaekto ti lansad ti Karayan Nilo. Maipababanto ti kinadayag ti Asiria, ket mapukawto ti setro ti Egipto manipud kadagiti Egipcio.
12 I will make them strong in the Lord, they will walk in his name, says the Lord.
Papigsaekto ida, ket agbiagdanto babaen iti naganko.” Daytoy ket pakaammo ni Yahweh.
