1 Chronicles 25
1 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of them that did the work according to their service was:
Además, David y los capitanes del ejército apartaron para el servicio a algunos de los hijos de Asaf, de Hemán y de Jedutún, que debían profetizar con arpas, con instrumentos de cuerda y con címbalos. El número de los que hicieron la obra según su servicio fue:
2 of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph; under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied after the order of the king.
de los hijos de Asaf: Zaccur, José, Netanías y Asarela. Los hijos de Asaf estaban bajo la mano de Asaf, quien profetizaba por orden del rey.
3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six; under the hands of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising the LORD.
De Jedutún, los hijos de Jedutún: Gedalías, Zeri, Jesaías, Simei, Hasabías y Matatías, seis, bajo la mano de su padre Jedutún, que profetizaban dando gracias y alabando a Yahvé con el arpa.
4 Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth:
De Hemán, los hijos de Hemán: Buquías, Matanías, Uziel, Sebuel, Jerimot, Hananías, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Josbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir y Mahazioth.
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
Todos estos fueron los hijos de Hemán, el vidente del rey, en las palabras de Dios, para levantar el cuerno. Dios le dio a Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.
6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.
Todos ellos estaban bajo las manos de su padre para cantar en la casa de Yahvé, con címbalos, instrumentos de cuerda y arpas, para el servicio de la casa de Dios: Asaf, Jedutún y Hemán estaban bajo la orden del rey.
7 And the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in singing unto the LORD, even all that were skilful, was two hundred fourscore and eight.
El número de ellos, con sus hermanos instruidos en el canto a Yahvé, todos los que eran hábiles, era de doscientos ochenta y ocho.
8 And they cast lots for their charges, all alike, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
Echaron suertes para sus cargos, todos por igual, tanto el pequeño como el grande, tanto el maestro como el alumno.
9 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah; he and his brethren and sons were twelve:
La primera suerte le tocó a Asaf, a José; la segunda a Gedalías, él y sus hermanos e hijos, doce;
10 the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la tercera a Zacur, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la cuarta a Izri, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
12 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la quinta a Netanías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
13 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la sexta a Bucías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
14 the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la séptima a Jesharela, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
15 the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons mad his brethren, twelve:
la octava a Jesaías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
16 the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la novena a Matanías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
17 the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la décima a Simei, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
18 the eleventh to Azarel, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la undécima a Azarel, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
19 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la duodécima a Hasabías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
20 for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
la decimotercera a Subael, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
21 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
el decimocuarto, a Mattithiah, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
22 for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
el decimoquinto, a Jeremoth, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
23 for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
el decimosexto, a Hananiah, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
24 for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
el decimoséptimo, a Joshbekashah, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
25 for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
el decimoctavo, a Hanani, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
26 for the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
el decimonoveno, a Mallothi, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
27 for the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
por el vigésimo a Eliathah, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
28 for the one and twentieth to Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
por el vigésimo primero a Hothir, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
29 for the two and twentieth to Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
por el vigésimo segundo a Giddalti, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
30 for the three and twentieth to Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
