Exodus 37

1 And Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it:

Besalel hizo el Arca de madera de acacia, de dos codos y medio de largo, de codo y medio de ancho, y de codo y medio de alto.

2 and he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about.

La Revistió de oro puro, por dentro y por fuera, e hizo para ella una guirnalda de oro alrededor.

3 And he cast for it four rings of gold, in the four feet thereof; even two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.

Fundió para ella cuatro anillos de oro para sus cuatro pies, dos anillos a un lado y dos anillos al otro.

4 And he made staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.

Hizo también varas de madera de acacia, que revistió de oro;

5 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.

y pasó las varas por los anillos a los costados del Arca, para transportarla.

6 And he made a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half [was] the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

Después hizo un propiciatorio de oro puro, de dos codos y medio de largo y de codo y medio de ancho.

7 And he made two cherubim of gold; of beaten work made he them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat;

Hizo igualmente dos querubines de oro labrados a martillo para los dos extremos del propiciatorio;

8 one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end: of one piece with the mercy-seat made he the cherubim at the two ends thereof.

un querubín por un lado, y el otro querubín por el otro, de tal manera que (salieran) del propiciatorio en sus dos extremos.

9 And the cherubim spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy-seat were the faces of the cherubim.

Estaban los querubines con las alas extendidas hacia arriba, cubriendo con ellas el propiciatorio. Tenían sus caras vueltas la una a la otra, pues las caras de los querubines se dirigían hacia el propiciatorio.

10 And he made the table of acacia wood: two cubits [was] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof:

Hizo, además, la mesa de madera de acacia, de dos codos de largo, de un codo de ancho y de codo y medio de alto.

11 and he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereto a crown of gold round about.

La recubrió de oro puro, y puso alrededor de ella una guirnalda de oro,

12 And he made unto it a border of an handbreadth round about, and made a golden crown to the border thereof round about.

haciéndole, además, un borde a la redonda, del ancho de un palmo, y ornándole con una moldura alrededor.

13 And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that were on the four feet thereof.

Fundió para ella cuatro anillos de oro, y colocó los anillos en los cuatro ángulos, o sea en sus cuatro pies.

14 Close by the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table.

Junto al borde se hallaban los anillos por los cuales habían de pasar las varas para el transporte de la mesa.

15 And he made the staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.

Hizo también las varas para llevar la mesa de madera de acacia y las recubrió de oro.

16 And he made the vessels which were upon the table, the dishes thereof, and the spoons thereof, and the bowls thereof, and the flagons thereof, to pour out withal, of pure gold.

Asimismo fabricó de oro puro los utensilios que habían de estar sobre la mesa; sus platos, sus cucharas, sus copas y sus tazas, con que se hacían las libaciones.

17 And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick, even its base, and its shaft; its cups, its knops, and its flowers, were of one piece with it:

Hizo el candelabro de oro puro; labrado a martillo hizo el candelabro. Su pie, su tallo, sus cálices, sus botones y sus flores eran de una sola pieza.

18 and there were six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:

De sus lados salían seis brazos: tres brazos de un lado del candelabro, y tres brazos del otro lado del candelabro.

19 three cups made like almond-blossoms in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three cups made like almond-blossoms in the other branch, a knop and a flower: so for the six branches going out of the candlestick.

En el primer brazo había tres cálices en forma de flor de almendro, con botón y flor; también en el segundo brazo había tres cálices, en forma de flor de almendro, con botón y flor, y así en los seis brazos que salían del candelabro.

20 And in the candlestick were four cups made like almond-blossoms, the knops thereof, and the flowers thereof:

En el (tallo del) candelabro había cuatro cálices, en forma de flor de almendro, con sus botones y sus flores:

21 and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of it.

un botón debajo de los dos (primeros) brazos que salían de él, un botón debajo de los dos brazos (siguientes) que salían de él, y un botón debajo de los dos brazos (restantes) que salían de él, conforme a los seis brazos que salían del mismo.

22 Their knops and their branches were of one piece with it: the whole of it was one beaten work of pure gold.

Sus botones y sus brazos formaban con él un solo cuerpo; todo ello era una pieza labrada a martillo, de oro puro.

23 And he made the lamps thereof, seven, and the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, of pure gold.

Hizo también sus siete lámparas, sus despabiladeras y sus platillos, de oro puro,

24 Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.

empleando un talento de oro puro para el candelabro y todos sus utensilios.

25 And he made the altar of incense of acacia wood: a cubit was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, foursquare; and two cubits was the height thereof; the horns thereof were of one piece with it.

Hizo también de madera de acacia el altar del incienso, de un codo de largo y de un codo de ancho, cuadrado, y de dos codos de alto. Sus cuernos formaban con él una sola pieza.

26 And he overlaid it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: and he made unto it a crown of gold round about.

Lo revistió de oro puro, por encima y por sus lados alrededor, y también sus cuernos. Le hizo también todo en torno una guirnalda de oro.

27 And he made for it two golden rings under the crown thereof, upon the two ribs thereof, upon the two sides of it, for places for staves to bear it withal.

Por debajo de la guirnalda, a sus dos lados, en ambos costados, hizo dos anillos de oro, por los cuales habían de pasar las varas, a fin de transportarlo con ellas.

28 And he made the staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.

Hizo las varas de madera de acacia y las revistió de oro.

29 And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, after the art of the perfumer.

Confeccionó también el óleo santo de la unción, y el incienso puro de especies aromáticas, con arte de perfumería.
