Psalms 68
1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David, a Song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; let them also that hate him flee before him.
१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र देवाने उठावे; त्याचे वैरी विखरले जावोत; जे त्याचा तिरस्कार करतात तेही त्याच्यापुढून पळून जावोत.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
२जसा धूर पांगला जातो, तसे त्यांना दूर पांगून टाक; जसे मेण अग्नीपुढे वितळते, तसे दुर्जन देवापुढे नष्ट होवोत.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God: yea, let them rejoice with gladness.
३परंतु नीतिमान आनंदित होवोत; ते देवापुढे हर्षभरित होवोत; ते हर्षोत आणि आनंदी होवोत.
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: cast up a highway for him that rideth through the deserts; his name is JAH; and exult ye before him.
४देवाला गाणे गा, त्याच्या नावाचे स्तवन करा; ज्याची स्वारी यार्देन नदीच्या खोऱ्यातील मैदानातून चालली आहे त्याच्यासाठी राजमार्ग तयार करा; त्याचे नाव परमेश्वर आहे; त्याच्यापुढे हर्षभरित व्हा.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
५तो पितृहीनाचा पिता, विधवांचा मदतगार असा देव आपल्या पवित्र निवासस्थानी राहतो.
6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out the prisoners into prosperity: but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
६देव एकाकी असलेल्यास कुटुंबात ठेवतो; तो बंदिवानास गीत गात बाहेर आणतो; पण बंडखोर तृषित प्रदेशात राहतात.
7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; (Selah)
७हे देवा, जेव्हा तू आपल्या लोकांपुढे गेला, जेव्हा तू रानातून चालत गेलास,
8 The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: [even] yon Sinai [trembled] at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
८तेव्हा भूमी कापली; देवाच्या उपस्थितीत आकाशातून पाऊसही पडला, देवाच्या उपस्थितीत, इस्राएलाच्या देवाच्या उपस्थित सीनाय पर्वतदेखील कंपित झाला.
9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
९हे देवा, तू विपुल पाऊस पाठवलास; जेव्हा तुझे वतन शिणलेले होते तेव्हा तू ते बळकट केलेस.
10 Thy congregation dwelt therein: thou, O God, didst prepare of thy goodness for the poor.
१०तुझे लोक त्यामध्ये राहिले; हे देवा, तू आपल्या चांगुलपणातून गरीबांना दिले.
11 The Lord giveth the word: the women that publish the tidings are a great host.
११परमेश्वराने आज्ञा दिली, आणि ज्यांनी त्यांना घोषणा केली ते मोठे सैन्य होते.
12 Kings of armies flee, they flee: and she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.
१२सैन्यांचे राजे पळून जातात, ते पळून जातात, आणि घरी राहणारी स्री लूट वाटून घेते.
13 Will ye lie among the sheepfolds, [as] the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her pinions with yellow gold?
१३जेव्हा तुम्ही काही लोक मेंढवाड्यामध्ये पडून राहता, तेव्हा ज्याचे पंख रुप्याने व पिसे पिवळ्या सोन्याने मढवलेले आहेत, अशा कबुतरासारखे तुम्ही आहात.
14 When the Almighty scattered kings therein, [it was as when] it snoweth in Zalmon.
१४तेथे सर्वसमर्थाने राजांना विखरले आहे, तेव्हा सल्मोनावर बर्फ पडते त्याप्रमाणे झाले.
15 A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; an high mountain is the mountain of Bashan.
१५हे महान पर्वता, बाशानाच्या पर्वता, उंच बाशान पर्वत शिखरांचा पर्वत आहे.
16 Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, at the mountain which God hath desired for his abode? yea, the LORD will dwell [in it] for ever.
१६देवाला आपल्या निवासासाठी जो पर्वत आवडला आहे, त्याच्याकडे हे अनेक शिखरांच्या पर्वता, तू हेव्याने का पाहतोस? खरोखर, परमेश्वर त्याच्यावरच सर्वकाळ राहील.
17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands: the Lord is among them, [as in] Sinai, in the sanctuary.
१७देवाचे रथ वीस हजार आहेत, हजारो हजार आहेत. जसा सीनाय पर्वतावर पवित्रस्थान, तसा प्रभू त्यांच्यामध्ये आहे.
18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led [thy] captivity captive; thou hast received gifts among men, yea, [among] the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell [with them].
१८तू उंचावर चढलास; तू बंदिवानास दूर नेले आहे; मनुष्याकडून आणि जे तुझ्याविरूद्ध लढले त्यांच्यापासूनही भेटी स्वीकारल्या आहेत, यासाठी की, हे परमेश्वर देवा, तू तेथे रहावे.
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily beareth our burden, even the God who is our salvation. (Selah)
१९प्रभू धन्यवादित असो, तो दररोज आमचा भार वाहतो, देव आमचे तारण आहे.
20 God is unto us a God of deliverances; and unto JEHOVAH the Lord belong the issues from death.
२०आमचा देव आम्हास तारणारा देव आहे; मृत्यूपासून सोडविणारा प्रभू परमेश्वर आहे.
21 But God shall smite through the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his guiltiness.
२१पण देव आपल्या शत्रूचे डोके आपटेल, जो आपल्या अपराधात चालत जातो त्याचे केसाळ माथे आपटेल.
22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring [them] again from the depths of the sea:
२२परमेश्वर म्हणाला, मी माझ्या लोकांस बाशानापासून परत आणीन, समुद्राच्या खोल स्थानातून त्यांना परत आणीन.
23 That thou mayest dip thy foot in blood, that the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from [thine] enemies.
२३यासाठी की, तू आपल्या शत्रूला चिरडावे, आपला पाय त्यांच्या रक्तात बुडवा, आणि तुझ्या शत्रुंकडून तुझ्या कुत्र्यांच्या जिभेस वाटा मिळावा.
24 They have seen thy goings, O God, even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
२४हे देवा, त्यांनी तुझ्या मिरवणुका पाहिल्या आहेत, पवित्रस्थानी माझ्या देवाच्या, माझ्या राजाच्या मिरवणुका त्यांनी पाहिल्या आहेत.
25 The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, in the midst of the damsels playing with timbrels.
२५गायकपुढे गेले, वाजवणारे मागे चालले आहेत, आणि मध्ये कुमारी कन्या लहान डफ वाजवत चालल्या आहेत.
26 Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, [ye that are] of the fountain of Israel.
२६मंडळीत देवाचा धन्यवाद करा; जे तुम्ही इस्राएलाचे खरे वंशज आहात ते तुम्ही परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.
27 There is little Benjamin their ruler, the princes of Judah [and] their council, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
२७तेथे त्यांचा अधिकारी प्रथम बन्यामीन, कनिष्ठ कुळ, यहूदाचे अधिपती, व त्याच्याबरोबरचे समुदाय जबुलूनाचे अधिपती, नफतालीचे अधिपती हे आहेत.
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
२८तुझ्या देवाने, तुझे सामर्थ्य निर्माण केले आहे; हे देवा, तू पूर्वीच्या काळी आपले सामर्थ्य दाखविले तसे आम्हास दाखव.
29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem kings shall bring presents unto thee.
२९यरूशलेमातील मंदिराकरता, राजे तुला भेटी आणतील.
30 Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, trampling under foot the pieces of silver; he hath scattered the peoples that delight in war.
३०लव्हाळ्यात राहणारे वनपशू, बैलांचा कळप आणि त्यांचे वासरे ह्यांना धमकाव. जे खंडणीची मागणी करतात त्यांना आपल्या पायाखाली तुडव; जे लढाईची आवड धरतात त्यांना विखरून टाक.
31 Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall haste to stretch out her hands unto God.
३१मिसरमधून सरदार येतील; कूश आपले हात देवाकडे पसरण्याची घाई करील.
32 Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; (Selah)
३२अहो पृथ्वीवरील राष्ट्रांनो, तुम्ही देवाला गीत गा, परमेश्वराची स्तुतिगीते गा.
33 To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which are of old; lo, he uttereth his voice, [and that] a mighty voice.
३३जो पुरातन काळापासून अस्तित्वात आहे तो आकाशांच्या आकांशावर आरूढ होतो; पाहा, तो आपला आवाज सामर्थ्याने उंचावतो.
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the skies.
३४देवाच्या सामर्थ्याचे वर्णन करा; इस्राएलावर त्याचे वैभव आणि आकाशात त्याचे बल आहे.
35 O God, [thou art] terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel, he giveth strength and power unto [his] people. Blessed be God.
३५हे देवा, तू आपल्या पवित्रस्थानात भयप्रद आहे; इस्राएलाचा देव आपल्या लोकांस बल आणि सामर्थ्य देतो. देव धन्यवादित असो.
