< Psalms 85 >

1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. LORD, Thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)
napo’o ty tahi’ondati’oo Fonga nakopo’o o hakeo’ iareoo; Selà
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thine anger.
nasita’o iaby ty fifombo’o; niambohoa’o ty fiforoforoan-kaviñera’o.
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine indignation toward us to cease.
Ampolio zahay ry Andrianañaharem- pandrombahañ’ anay, vaho apoho ty helo’o ama’ay.
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
Ho viñera’o nainai’e hao zahay? Hampitoie’o an-tariratse kitro añ’afe’e hao, o helok’añ’arofo’oo?
6 Wilt thou not quicken us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
Tsy ihe hao ty hameloñe anay indraike, hirebeha’ ondati’oo?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
Atorò anay ty fiferenaiña’o, ry Iehovà, toloro o fandrombaha’oo.
8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
Ho tsendreñeko ty ho tsarae’ Iehovà Andrianañahare; fa fañanintsiñe ty taroñe’e am’ ondati’eo naho amo noro’eo; le ee abey t’ie tsy hibalintoa mb’an-kadagolàñey.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
Toe marine’ o mañeveñe ama’eo ty fandrombaha’e, hitobea’ o enge’eo an-tanen-tikañ’ ao.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Mifañaoñe ty fiferenaiñañe naho ty hatò; mifañondroke ty havantañañe naho ty filongoañe.
11 Truth springeth out of the earth; and righteousness hath looked down from heaven.
Mivoañe hirik’an-tane ao ty hatò, mijilo hirik’an-dikerañe añe o havantañañeo.
12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
Eka, hanjotso ty soa t’Iehovà, vaho hañomey ty voka’e ty tane’ay toy.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall make his footsteps a way [to walk in].
Hiaolo Aze ty havañonañe, hañajaria’e lalañe ho liam-pandia’e.
