1 John 5
1 Whosoever believeth that, Jesus, is the Christ, of God, hath been born: and, whosoever loveth him that begat, loveth him that hath been begotten of him.
Кожен, хто вірить, що Ісус є Христос, той народжений від Бога. І кожен, хто любить Того, Хто народив, любить і народжених від Нього.
2 Hereby, perceive we, that we love the children of God, as soon as, God, we love, and, his commandments, we are doing.
Так ми розуміємо, що любимо Божих дітей, коли ми любимо Бога й виконуємо Його заповіді.
3 For, this is the love of God—that, his commandments, we be keeping, and, his commandments, are not burdensome;
Ми проявляємо любов до Бога, якщо дотримуємося Його заповідей. А заповіді Його не важкі.
4 Because, whatsoever hath been born of God, overcometh the world; and, this, is the victory that hath overcome the world—our faith.
Адже кожен, хто народжений від Бога, перемагає світ. І те, що перемогло світ, – це наша віра.
5 [And] who is he that overcometh the world, save he that believeth that, Jesus, is the Son of God?
Хто перемагає світ, як не той, хто вірить, що Ісус є Син Божий?
6 This, is he that came through means of water and blood, Jesus Christ: not, by the water, only, but, by the water and by the blood, —and, the Spirit, it is, that is bearing witness, because, the Spirit, is the truth.
Ісус Христос – це Той, Хто прийшов через воду і кров. Він прийшов не тільки через воду, але через воду і кров. І Дух – це Той, Хто свідчить [про це], оскільки Дух – істина.
7 Because, three, are they who are bearing witness—
Бо троє свідчать:
8 The Spirit, and the Water, and the Blood; and, the three, are, [witnesses], unto one thing.
Дух, вода і кров. І троє [свідчать] одне.
9 If, the witness of men, we receive, the witness of God, is, greater. Because, this, is the witness of God—in that he hath borne witness concerning his Son, —
Якщо ми приймаємо людське свідчення, [то] свідчення Бога є величнішим, адже це є свідчення Бога: Він засвідчив про Свого Сина.
10 He that believeth on the Son of God, hath the witness, within himself: He that doth not believe God, false, hath made him, —because he hath not believed on the witness which, God, hath witnessed, concerning his Son—
Хто вірить у Сина Божого, має свідчення в собі самому. Хто не вірить Богові, робить Його обманщиком, оскільки він не вірить свідченню, яке зробив Бог щодо Свого Сина.
11 And, this, is the witness: —that, life age-abiding, hath God given unto us, and, this life, is, in his Son: (aiōnios g166)
І ось це свідчення: Бог дав нам вічне життя, і це життя – у Його Сині. (aiōnios g166)
12 He that hath the Son, hath, the life, —he that hath not the Son of God, hath not, the life.
Хто має Сина, має й життя; а хто не має Сина Божого, не має життя.
13 These things, have I written unto you—in order that ye may know that ye have, Life Age-abiding—unto you who believe on the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
Я написав це вам, віруючим в ім’я Сина Божого, щоб ви знали, що маєте вічне життя. (aiōnios g166)
14 And, this, is the boldness which we have towards him: that, if, anything, we ask, according to his will, He doth hearken unto us.
І це є сміливість, яку ми маємо перед Богом: якщо ми просимо щось згідно з Його волею, Він чує нас.
15 And, if we know that he doth hearken unto us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the things asked, which we have asked of him,
І якщо ми знаємо, що Бог нас чує, то що б ми не просили, знаємо, що отримали те, що попросили в Нього.
16 If one should see his brother committing a sin, not unto death, he shall ask, and He will grant unto him life, —for them who are sinning, not unto death. There, is, a sin, unto death: not concerning that, am I saying, that he should make request.
Якщо хтось бачить свого брата, [який] грішить не смертельним гріхом, нехай просить, і [Бог] дасть йому життя – [тому], хто грішить не смертельним гріхом. Але є гріх, який веде до смерті, і я не кажу, щоб ви молилися за того.
17 All unrighteousness, is, sin, and there, is, a sin, not unto death.
Будь-яка неправедність є гріхом, але є гріх, який не веде до смерті.
18 We know that, whosoever hath been born of God, is not committing sin, —Nay, he that hath been born of God, He keepeth him, and, the wicked one, doth not touch him.
Ми знаємо, що кожен народжений від Бога не грішить. Адже Народжений від Бога охороняє його, і лукавий не нашкодить йому.
19 We know that, of God, are we; and, the whole world, in the wicked one, is lying.
Ми знаємо, що ми є від Бога і що весь світ знаходиться у владі лукавого.
20 We know, moreover, that, the Son of God, hath come, and hath given us insight, so that we are getting to understand, him that is Real, —and we are in him that is Real, in his Son Jesus Christ. This, is the Real God, and life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
Ми знаємо, що Син Божий прийшов і дав нам розуміння, щоб пізнали Істинного. І тепер ми в Істинному, у Його Сині – Ісусі Христі. Він – істинний Бог і життя вічне. (aiōnios g166)
21 Dear children! Guard yourselves from idols.
Діточки, бережіть себе від ідолів!
