Psalms 148
1 Praise ye Yah, Praise Yahweh, out of the heavens, Praise him, in the heights;
| هللویاه! خداوند را از آسمان تسبیح بخوانید! در اعلی علیین او راتسبیح بخوانید! | ۱ |
2 Praise him, all his messengers, Praise him, all his host;
| ای همه فرشتگانش او را تسبیح بخوانید. ای همه لشکرهای او او را تسبیح بخوانید. | ۲ |
3 Praise him, sun and moon, Praise him, all ye stars of light;
| ای آفتاب و ماه او را تسبیح بخوانید. ای همه ستارگان نور او را تسبیح بخوانید. | ۳ |
4 Praise him, O ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens;
| ای فلک الافلاک او را تسبیح بخوانید، و‌ای آبهایی که فوق آسمانهایید. | ۴ |
5 Let them praise the Name of Yahweh, for, he, commanded, and they were created;
| نام خداوند را تسبیح بخوانیدزیرا که او امر فرمود پس آفریده شدند. | ۵ |
6 So caused he them to stand perpetually—age-abidingly, A decree, hath he given, and it passeth not beyond.
| و آنها راپایدار نمود تا ابدالاباد و قانونی قرار داد که از آن در نگذرند. | ۶ |
7 Praise Yahweh, out of the earth, sea monsters, and all resounding deeps;
| خداوند را از زمین تسبیح بخوانید، ای نهنگان و جمیع لجه‌ها. | ۷ |
8 Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind, fulfilling his word;
| ای آتش و تگرگ وبرف و مه و باد تند که فرمان او را به‌جا می‌آورید. | ۸ |
9 Ye mountains, and all hills, fruit trees, and all cedars;
| ای کوهها و تمام تل‌ها و درختان میوه دار و همه سروهای آزاد. | ۹ |
10 Thou wild-beast, and all ye cattle, crawling creature, and bird of wing;
| ای وحوش و جمیع بهایم وحشرات و مرغان بالدار. | ۱۰ |
11 Kings of earth, and all peoples, Rulers, and all judges of earth;
| ای پادشاهان زمین وجمیع امت‌ها و سروران و همه داوران جهان. | ۱۱ |
12 Young men, yea even virgins, elders, and children.
| ای جوانان و دوشیزگان نیز و پیران و اطفال. | ۱۲ |
13 Let them praise the Name of Yahweh, for lofty is his Name alone, His splendour is over earth and heavens.
| نام خداوند را تسبیح بخوانند، زیرا نام او تنهامتعال است و جلال او فوق زمین و آسمان. | ۱۳ |
14 Therefore hath he exalted a horn for his people, a praise for all his men of lovingkindness, for the sons of Israel—a people near him, Praise ye Yah!
| واو شاخی برای قوم خود برافراشته است، تا فخرباشد برای همه مقدسان او، یعنی برای بنی‌اسرائیل که قوم مقرب او می‌باشند. هللویاه! | ۱۴ |
