1 John 3
1 Behold what love has given to us the Father, that children of God we may be called — (and we are! *NO*) Because of this the world not knows (us, *NK(O)*) because not it knew Him.
Veja como é grande o amor que o Pai nos deu, que devemos ser chamados de filhos de Deus! Por esta causa o mundo não nos conhece, porque não o conhecia.
2 Beloved, now children of God are we, and not yet has been revealed what we will be; We know (now *k*) that when He shall appear, like Him we will be, for we will behold Him even as He is.
Amados, agora somos filhos de Deus. Ainda não foi revelado o que seremos; mas sabemos que quando Ele for revelado, seremos como Ele, pois o veremos tal como Ele é.
3 And everyone who is having hope this in Him purifies himself even as He pure is.
Todos que têm esta esperança depositada sobre ele se purificam, mesmo sendo puro.
4 Everyone who is committing sin also lawlessness commits, and sin is lawlessness.
Todos os que pecam também cometem desrespeito à lei. Pecado é desrespeito à lei.
5 And you know that He appeared so that the sins (of us *K*) He may take away, and sin in Him not there is.
Você sabe que ele foi revelado para tirar nossos pecados, e nenhum pecado está nele.
6 Anyone in Him abiding not sins; anyone who is sinning not has seen Him nor has he known Him.
Quem permanece nele, não peca. Quem peca, não o viu e não o conhece.
7 (little children, *NK(o)*) no one should lead astray you; who are practicing righteousness righteous is even as He righteous is.
Filhinhos, não deixem que ninguém os desencaminhe. Aquele que faz a justiça é justo, assim como é justo.
8 The [one] practicing sin of the devil is, because from [the] beginning the devil has been sinning. For this [reason] was revealed the Son of God so that He may destroy the works of the devil.
Aquele que peca é do diabo, pois o diabo está pecando desde o início. Para este fim, o Filho de Deus foi revelado: que ele poderia destruir as obras do diabo.
9 Anyone who born of God sin not practices, because seed of Him in him abides; and not he is able to continue sinning, because of God he has been born.
Quem nasce de Deus não comete pecado, porque sua semente permanece nele, e ele não pode pecar, porque nasceu de Deus.
10 Through this manifest are the children of God and the children of the devil. Anyone not practicing righteousness not is of God, and also the [one] not loving the brother of him;
Nisto são revelados os filhos de Deus, e os filhos do diabo. Quem não faz justiça não é de Deus, nem é aquele que não ama seu irmão.
11 For this is the message that you have heard from [the] beginning that we may love one another;
Pois esta é a mensagem que você ouviu desde o início, que devemos nos amar uns aos outros -
12 not even as Cain [who] of the evil [one] was and he slew the brother of him; And because of what he slayed him? Because the works of him evil were, those however of the brother of him righteous.
unlike Caim, que era do maligno e matou seu irmão. Por que ele o matou? Porque seus atos eram maus, e o irmão é justo.
13 (And *n*) not do be surprised, brothers (of mine *K*) if hates you the world.
Não se surpreendam, meus irmãos, se o mundo os odeia.
14 We ourselves know that we have passed from death to life, because we love [our] brothers; The [one] not loving (the brother *K*) abides in death.
Sabemos que passamos da morte para a vida, porque amamos os irmãos. Aquele que não ama seu irmão permanece na morte.
15 Everyone who is hating the brother of him a murderer is; and you know that any murderer not has life eternal in (him *NK(o)*) abiding. (aiōnios g166)
Quem odeia seu irmão é um assassino, e você sabe que nenhum assassino tem a vida eterna permanecendo nele. (aiōnios g166)
16 By this we have known love because He for us the life of Him laid down; and we ourselves ought for [our] brothers [our] lives (to lay down. *N(k)O*)
Por isso conhecemos o amor, porque ele deu sua vida por nós. E nós devemos dar nossa vida pelos irmãos.
17 Who[ever] now maybe may have the goods of the world and may see the brother of him need having and he may close up the heart of him from him, how the love of God abides in him?
Mas quem tem os bens do mundo e vê seu irmão em necessidade, então fecha seu coração de compaixão contra ele, como o amor de Deus permanece nele?
18 Little children (of mine *K*) not we may love in word nor in tongue but in action and in truth.
Meus filhinhos, não vamos amar apenas em palavras, ou apenas com a língua, mas na ação e na verdade.
19 And by this (we will know *N(k)O*) that of the truth we are and before Him we will assure (heart *N(k)O*) of us,
E com isto sabemos que somos da verdade e persuadimos nossos corações diante dele,
20 that if shall condemn [us] our heart, that greater than is the God of the heart of us and He knows all things.
porque se nosso coração nos condena, Deus é maior que nosso coração, e conhece todas as coisas.
21 Beloved, if the heart of us not shall condemn (us *ko*) confidence we have toward God,
Amados, se nosso coração não nos condena, temos ousadia para com Deus;
22 and whatever (maybe *NK(o)*) we shall ask we receive (from *N(k)O*) Him, because the commandments of Him we keep and the [things] pleasing before Him we do.
por isso tudo o que pedimos, recebemos dele, porque guardamos seus mandamentos e fazemos as coisas que são agradáveis aos seus olhos.
23 And this is the commandment of Him that (we may believe *NK(o)*) in the name of the Son of Him Jesus Christ and we may love one another even as He gave [the] commandment to us.
Este é seu mandamento, que devemos acreditar no nome de seu Filho, Jesus Cristo, e nos amarmos uns aos outros, mesmo como ele ordenou.
24 And the [one] keeping the commandments of Him in Him abides, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom to us He has given.
Aquele que guarda seus mandamentos permanece nele, e ele nele. Por isso sabemos que ele permanece em nós, pelo Espírito que ele nos deu.
