2 Chronicles 27
1 [was] a son of Twenty and five year[s] Jotham when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.
Yotam berumur dua puluh lima tahun pada waktu ia menjadi raja dan enam belas tahun lamanya ia memerintah di Yerusalem. Nama ibunya ialah Yerusa, anak Zadok.
2 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his only not he went into [the] temple of Yahweh and yet the people [were] behaving corruptly.
Ia melakukan apa yang benar di mata TUHAN, tepat seperti yang dilakukan Uzia, ayahnya, hanya ia tidak memasuki Bait TUHAN. Tetapi rakyat masih saja melakukan hal yang merusak.
3 He he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper and on [the] wall of Ophel he built to abundance.
Ia mendirikan Pintu Gerbang Tinggi di rumah TUHAN dan mengadakan banyak pembangunan pada tembok Ofel.
4 And cities he built in [the] hill country of Judah and in the wooded areas he built fortresses and towers.
Ia mendirikan juga kota-kota di pegunungan Yehuda dan benteng-benteng serta menara-menara di hutan-hutan.
5 And he he waged war with [the] king of [the] people of Ammon and he prevailed over them and they gave to him [the] people of Ammon in the year that one hundred talent[s] of silver and ten thousand cors wheat and barley ten thousand this they brought to him [the] people of (Ammon. *LBH(a)*) And in the year second and third.
Ia berperang melawan raja bani Amon dan mengalahkannya, sehingga pada tahun itu juga bani Amon membayar kepadanya seratus talenta perak, sepuluh ribu kor gandum dan sepuluh ribu kor jelai. Juga pada tahun kedua dan ketiga bani Amon membawa upeti itu kepadanya.
6 And he strengthened himself Jotham for he had directed ways his before Yahweh God his.
Yotam menjadi kuat, karena ia mengarahkan hidupnya kepada TUHAN, Allahnya.
7 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham and all wars his and ways his there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Israel and Judah.
Selebihnya dari riwayat Yotam, segala peperangan dan tingkah langkahnya, sesungguhnya semuanya itu tertulis dalam kitab raja-raja Israel dan Yehuda.
8 A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem.
Ia berumur dua puluh lima tahun pada waktu ia menjadi raja dan enam belas tahun lamanya ia memerintah di Yerusalem.
9 And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.
Kemudian Yotam mendapat perhentian bersama-sama nenek moyangnya, dan ia dikuburkan di kota Daud. Maka Ahas, anaknya, menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
