‌ʻE puputuʻu lahi ʻa hoʻomou faʻē; ʻe mā lahi ʻaia naʻe fanauʻi ʻakimoutolu: vakai, te ke hoko ko e kimui ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga, ko e potu lala, ko e fonua mōmoa, pea ko e toafa.
13 From [the] wrath of Yahweh not it will remain and it will be a waste all of it every [one who] passes by at Babylon he will be appalled and he may hiss on all wounds its.
‌ʻE ʻikai fakakakai ia koeʻuhi ko e houhau ʻo Sihova, ka ʻe fakalala ʻaupito ia: ʻe ofo ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku ʻalu ʻi Papilone, pea fakaʻiseʻisa koeʻuhi ko hono ngaahi tautea.
14 Line up on Babylon - all around O all [those who] bend a bow shoot against it may not you spare an arrow for to Yahweh it has sinned.
Mou teu tau ki Papilone ʻo kāpui ia: ko kimoutolu kotoa pē ʻoku faʻa teke ʻae kaufana, fanaʻi ia, pea ʻoua naʻa taʻofi ʻae ngaahi ngahau: koeʻuhi kuo ne fai angahala kia Sihova.
15 Shout out on it all around it will give hand its they will fall (towers its *Qk) they will be torn down walls its for [is] [the] vengeance of Yahweh that avenge yourself on it just as it has done do to it.
Kalanga ʻakimoutolu ʻoku takatakai ia: kuo ne tuku mai hono nima: kuo hinga hono ngaahi tuʻunga, kuo holoki hifo hono ngaahi ʻā: koeʻuhi ko e houhau ia ʻo Sihova: mou totongi kiate ia; fai kiate ia, ʻo hangē ko ʻene fai ʻe ia.
16 Cut off [the] sower from Babylon and [one who] wields a sickle at a time of harvest from before [the] sword of the oppressor everyone to people his they will turn and everyone to own land his they will flee.
Tuʻusi ʻae tangata tūtuuʻi mei Papilone, pea mo ia ʻoku ala ki he hele tuʻusi ʻi he ututaʻu: he ko e manavahē ki he heletā ʻoe fakaʻauha, te nau taki taha afe ai ki hono kakai, pea te nau taki taha hola ki hono fonua.
17 [is] sheep Scattered Israel [which] lions they have driven away the first [lion] he devoured it [the] king of Assyria and this the last [lion] he gnawed bones its Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon.
“Ko e sipi hē ʻa ʻIsileli; kuo fakahēʻi ia ʻe he fanga laione: kuo tomuʻa keina ia ʻe he tuʻi ʻo ʻAsilia; pea muimui ʻa Nepukanesa ni ko e tuʻi ʻo Papilone kuo ne fesiʻi hono ngaahi hui.
18 Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to visit [judgment] to [the] king of Babylon and to land his just as I visited [judgment] to [the] king of Assyria.
Ko ia ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻIsileli; Vakai, te u tautea ʻae tuʻi ʻo Papilone pea mo hono fonua, ʻo hangē ko ʻeku tautea ʻae tuʻi ʻo ʻAsilia.
19 And I will restore Israel to pasture its and it will graze Carmel and Bashan and in [the] hill country of Ephraim and Gilead it will be satisfied appetite its.
Pea te u toe ʻomi ʻa ʻIsileli ki hono nofoʻanga, pea ʻe fafanga ia ʻi Kameli mo Pesani, pea ʻe mākona hono laumālie ʻi he moʻunga ko ʻIfalemi mo Kiliati.”
20 In the days those and at the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh it will be sought [the] iniquity of Israel and there not [will be] it and [the] sins of Judah and not they will be found for I will forgive [those] whom I will leave as a remnant.
‌ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “ʻI he ngaahi ʻaho ko ia, pea ʻi he kuonga ko ia ʻe kumi ki ha angahala ʻa ʻIsileli, ka ʻe ʻikai ʻilo ia; pea mo e angahala ʻa Siuta, ka ʻe ʻikai ʻiloa: he te u fakamolemole ʻakinautolu ʻaia kuo u fakatoe.
21 On the land of Merathaim go up on it and against [the] inhabitants of Pekod kill and totally destroy after them [the] utterance of Yahweh and do according to all that I have commanded you.
“ʻAlu hake ki he fonua ʻoe kau angatonu, te u tau kiate ia, mo e kakai ʻo Pikote:” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova, “Ngaohi ke lala mo fakaʻauha ʻa honau hako, pea fai ʻo hangē ko e meʻa kotoa pē kuo u fekau kiate koe.
22 A sound of battle [will be] in the land and destruction great.
‌ʻOku ai ʻae longolongo tau ʻi he fonua, pea mo e fakaʻauha lahi.
23 How! it has been cut off and it has been broken [the] hammer of all the earth how! it has become a horror Babylon among the nations.
Hono ʻikai tuʻusi mo maumauʻi ʻae hamala ʻo māmani kotoa pē! Hono ʻikai hoko ʻa Papilone ko e meʻa fakaofo ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga!
24 I set a trap for you and also you were caught O Babylon and you not you knew you were found and also you were caught for with Yahweh you engaged in strife.
‌ʻE Papilone kuo u ʻai ʻae tauhele kiate koe, pea kuo ke moʻua foki, pea naʻe ʻikai te ke ʻilo: kuo ʻilo koe, pea kuo maʻu koe foki, koeʻuhi kuo ke angatuʻu kia Sihova.
25 He has opened Yahweh armory his and he has brought out [the] weapons of indignation his for a work it [belongs] to [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts in [the] land of [the] Chaldeans.
Kuo fakaava ʻe Sihova hono fale mahafutau, pea kuo ʻomi mei ai ʻae ngaahi mahafu ʻo hono houhau: he ko e ngāue eni ʻa Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻoe ngaahi kautau ʻi he fonua ʻoe kau Kalitia.
26 Come to it from [the] end open granaries its pile up it like heaps and totally destroy it may not it belong to it a remnant.
Haʻu kiate ia mei he ngaahi potu mamaʻo, fakaava ʻa hono ngaahi feleoko: pea laku hake ia ke hangē ko e ngaahi tafungofunga, pea fakaʻauha ia; ʻoua naʻa fakatoe ha meʻa siʻi kiate ia.
27 Kill all young bulls its let them go down to the slaughter woe! on them for it has come day their [the] time of punishment their.
Tāmateʻi ʻene fanga pulu kotoa pē, tuku ke nau ʻalu hifo ki he tāmateʻi: ʻe malaʻia ʻakinautolu! He kuo hokosia honau ʻaho, ko e kuonga ʻo honau ʻaʻahi.”
28 [the] sound of Fugitives and escapees from [the] land of Babylon to declare in Zion [the] vengeance of Yahweh God our [the] vengeance of temple his.
Ko e leʻo ʻokinautolu ʻoku hola pea hao mei he fonua ʻo Papilone, ke fakahā ʻi Saione ʻae houhau ʻo Sihova ko hotau ʻOtua, ko e totongi koeʻuhi ko hono fale tapu.
29 Summon against Babylon - archers all [those who] bend a bow encamp on it all around may not (it be to it *QK) escape repay to it according to deed[s] its according to all that it has done do to it for Yahweh it has defied proudly [the] holy [one] of Israel.
“Ui ke fakataha ʻae kau tangata fakakaufana ki Papilone: ko kimoutolu kotoa pē ʻoku teke ʻae kaufana, mou nofo takatakai ki ai; ke ʻoua naʻa hao ha taha mei ai: totongi kiate ia ʻo hangē ko ʻene ngāue; fai kiate ia ʻo hangē ko e meʻa kotoa pē kuo ne fai, koeʻuhi kuo ne fielahi kia Sihova, ki he tokotaha māʻoniʻoni ʻo ʻIsileli.
30 Therefore they will fall young men its in open places its and all [the] men of war its they will be silenced on the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Ko ia ʻe tō ai ʻa hono kau talavou ʻi he hala, pea ʻe tuʻusi ʻa hono kau tangata tau ʻi he ʻaho ko ia,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova.
31 Here I [am] against you O arrogance [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts that it has come day your [the] time [when] I will visit you.
‌ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻoe ngaahi kautau, “Vakai ʻoku ou fili ʻaki koe, ʻa koe ko e fielahi, he kuo hokosia mai ho ʻaho, pea mo e kuonga te u ʻaʻahi ai kiate koe.
32 And it will stumble arrogance and it will fall and not [will belong] to it [one who] raises up and I will kindle fire in cities its and it will devour all around it.
33 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [are] oppressed [the] people of Israel and [the] people of Judah together and all captors their they have kept hold on them they have refused to let go them.
ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau; “Naʻe taʻomia fakataha ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli pea mo e fānau ʻa Siuta: pea kuku maʻu ʻekinautolu kotoa pē naʻe ʻave pōpula ʻakinautolu; pea naʻe ʻikai te nau loto ke tukuange ʻakinautolu.
34 Redeemer their - [is] strong [is] Yahweh of hosts name his certainly he will conduct case their so as to give rest to the earth and to cause disquiet to [the] inhabitants of Babylon.
‌ʻOku mālohi ʻa honau Huhuʻi; ko hono huafa ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau: te ne langomakiʻi ʻaupito ʻakinautolu, koeʻuhi ke ne foaki ʻae fiemālie ki he fonua, pea mo e maveuveu ki he kakai ʻo Papilone.
35 A sword on [the] Chaldeans [the] utterance of Yahweh and against [the] inhabitants of Babylon and against officials its and against wise [people] its.
“ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, ʻE hoko ʻae heletā ki he kau Kalitia, mo e kakai ʻo Papilone, mo e houʻeiki, pea mo hono kau tangata poto.
36 A sword against the empty talkers and they will become fools a sword against warriors its and they will be shattered.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻae heletā ki he kau kākā; pea te nau loto vale: pea ʻe hoko ʻae heletā ki hono kau mālohi; pea te nau manavahē.
37 A sword against horses its and against chariotry its and against every foreigner who [is] in [the] midst of it and they will become women a sword against treasuries its and they will be plundered.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻae heletā ki heʻenau fanga hoosi, mo ʻenau ngaahi saliote, mo e kakai kehekehe ʻoku ʻiate ia pea te nau liliu ʻo hangē ko e kau fefine: ʻe hoko ʻae heletā ki heʻene koloa; pea ʻe kaihaʻasia ʻakinautolu.
38 A drought against waters its and they will dry up for [is] a land of idols it and in terrors they will act like mad people.
‌ʻE laʻāina ʻa hono ngaahi vai; pea te nau maha: he ko e fonua ia ʻoe meʻa fakatātā kuo tā, pea ʻoku nau vikiviki ʻi he ngaahi tamapua.
39 Therefore they will dwell desert-dwellers with hyenas and they will dwell in it daughters of an ostrich and not it will remain again to perpetuity and not it will settle until a generation and a generation.
Ko ia ʻe nofo ai ʻae fanga manu hehengi ʻoe toafa, pea mo e fanga manu hehengi ʻoe ngaahi motu, pea ʻe nofo ai ʻae fanga lulu; pea ʻe ʻikai fakakakai ia ʻo taʻengata; pea ʻe ʻikai ha toe nofo ʻe fai ai mei he toʻutangata ki he toʻutangata.
40 Like [the] overthrow of God Sodom and Gomorrah and neighbors its [the] utterance of Yahweh not he will dwell there anyone and not he will sojourn in it a child of humankind.
41 There! a people [is] about to come from [the] north and a nation great and kings many they will be roused from [the] remotest parts of [the] earth.
“Vakai, ʻe haʻu ʻae kakai mei he tokelau, ko e puleʻanga lahi, pea ʻe tuʻu hake ʻae ngaahi tuʻi mei he ngaahi fonua mamaʻo.
42 Bow and javelin they will take hold of [will be] cruel they and not they will have mercy sound their [will be] like the sea [which] it roars and on horses they will ride arranged like a man for battle on you O daughter of Babylon.
43 He heard [the] king of Babylon report their and they hung limp hands his distress it took hold of him anguish like [woman] giving birth.
Naʻe fanongo ki heʻenau ongoongo ʻe he tuʻi ʻo Papilone, pea kuo hoko ʻo vaivai hono nima: pea kuo maʻu ia ʻe he mamahi, mo e feinga ʻo hangē ko e fefine ʻoku langā.
44 There! like a lion [which] it goes up from [the] thicket[s] of the Jordan to pastureland of an ever-flowing [stream] for I will act in a moment (I will cause to run them *QK) from on it and whoever [is] chosen to it I will appoint for who? [is] like me and who? will he summon me and who? this [is] a shepherd who he will stand before me.
Vakai te ne ʻalu hake ʻo hangē ko e laione, mei he fonu mahakehake ʻo Sioatani ki he nofoʻanga ʻoe mālohi: ka te u pule ke nau hola fakafokifā meiate ia: pea ko hai ha tangata kuo fili koeʻuhi ke u tuʻutuʻuni ke puleʻi ia? He ko hai ʻoku tatau mo au? Pea ko hai te ne akonakiʻi au? Pea ko hai ʻae tauhi ko ia ke ne tuʻu ʻi hoku ʻao?”
45 Therefore hear [the] plan of Yahweh which he has planned against Babylon and purposes his which he has purposed against [the] land of [the] Chaldeans if not people will drag away them [the] young [ones] of the flock if not he will devastate on them [the] pastureland.
Ko ia mou fanongo ki he fakakaukau ʻa Sihova, ʻaia kuo ne tuʻutuʻuni ki Papilone; pea mo e tuʻutuʻuni, kuo ne tuʻutuʻuni ki he kakai ʻo Kalitia: ko e moʻoni ʻe ʻave ʻakinautolu ʻe he siʻi hifo: ko e moʻoni te ne ngaohi honau nofoʻanga ko e potu liʻaki ʻiate kinautolu.
46 From [the] sound it has been captured Babylon it will quake the earth and a cry of distress among the nations it will be heard.
‌ʻOku ngalulu ʻae kelekele ʻi he longoaʻa ʻoe kapa ʻo Papilone, pea ʻe ongo atu ʻene tangi ki he kakai kotoa pē.”
