Psalms 29

1 A psalm of David ascribe to Yahweh O sons of gods ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.

Salimo la Davide. Perekani kwa Yehova, inu anthu amphamvu, perekani kwa Yehova ulemerero ndi mphamvu.

2 Ascribe to Yahweh [the] glory of name his bow down to Yahweh in adornment of holiness.

Perekani kwa Yehova ulemerero woyenera dzina lake, pembedzani Yehova mwa kukongola kwa chiyero chake.

3 [the] voice of Yahweh [is] over the waters [the] God of glory he thunders Yahweh [is] over waters many.

Liwu la Yehova lili pamwamba pa madzi; Mulungu waulemerero abangula, Yehova abangula pamwamba pa madzi amphamvu.

4 [the] voice of Yahweh [is] with strength [the] voice of Yahweh [is] with majesty.

Liwu la Yehova ndi lamphamvu; liwu la Yehova ndi laulemerero.

5 [the] voice of Yahweh [is] breaking cedars and he broke in pieces Yahweh [the] cedars of Lebanon.

Liwu la Yehova limathyola mikungudza; Yehova amathyolathyola mikungudza ya ku Lebanoni.

6 And he made skip them like a calf Lebanon and Sirion like a young one of wild oxen.

Iye amachititsa Lebanoni kulumphalumpha ngati mwana wangʼombe, Siriyoni ngati mwana wa njati:

7 [the] voice of Yahweh [is] striking flames of fire.

Liwu la Yehova limakantha ngati kungʼanima kwa mphenzi.

8 [the] voice of Yahweh it causes to tremble [the] wilderness he causes to tremble Yahweh [the] wilderness of Kadesh.

Liwu la Yehova limagwedeza chipululu; Yehova amagwedeza chipululu cha Kadesi.

9 [the] voice of Yahweh - it causes labor pains to does and it stripped bare forests and in temple his all of it [is] saying glory.

Liwu la Yehova limapindapinda mibawa ndi kuyeretsa nkhalango. Ndipo mʼNyumba mwake onse amafuwula kuti, “Ulemerero!”

10 Yahweh to the flood he sat and he sat Yahweh king for ever.

Yehova amakhala pamwamba pa madzi osefukira, Yehova ndiye mfumu kwamuyaya.

11 Yahweh strength to people his he will give Yahweh - he will bless people his with peace.

Yehova amapereka mphamvu kwa anthu ake; Yehova amadalitsa anthu ake ndi mtendere.
