Exodus 20

আর ঈশ্বর এইসব কথা বললেন:

“আমিই তোমার ঈশ্বর সেই সদাপ্রভু, যিনি তোমাকে মিশর থেকে, ক্রীতদাসত্বের সেই দেশ থেকে বের করে এনেছেন।
3 not to be (to/for you God another *L(p)*) upon (face: before my *L(p)*)
“আমার সামনে তুমি অন্য কোনও দেবতা রাখবে না।
4 not to make (to/for you *L(p)*) idol and all (likeness *L(p)*) (which *L(b+p)*) in/on/with heaven (from above *L(p)*) (and which *L(b+p)*) (in/on/with land: country/planet from underneath: under and which in/on/with water from underneath: under to/for land: country/planet *L(p)*)
নিজের জন্য তুমি ঊর্ধ্বস্থ স্বর্গের বা অধঃস্থ পৃথিবীর বা জলরাশির তলার কোনো কিছুর আকৃতিবিশিষ্ট কোনও প্রতিমা তৈরি করবে না।
5 not (to bow to/for them *L(p)*) and not (to serve: minister them *L(p)*) for I LORD God your God jealous to reckon: visit iniquity: crime father upon son: child upon third and upon fourth (to/for to hate me *L(p)*)
তুমি তাদের কাছে মাথা নত করবে না বা তাদের আরাধনা করবে না; কারণ আমি, তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু, এক ঈর্ষান্বিত ঈশ্বর, বাবা-মার করা পাপের কারণে সন্তানদের শাস্তি দিই, যারা আমাকে ঘৃণা করে তাদের তৃতীয় ও চতুর্থ প্রজন্ম পর্যন্ত দিই,
6 (and to make: do kindness to/for thousand *L(p)*) to/for to love: lover me and to/for to keep: obey commandment my
কিন্তু যারা আমাকে ভালোবাসে ও আমার আজ্ঞাগুলি পালন করে, হাজার প্রজন্ম পর্যন্ত তাদের প্রতি ভালোবাসা দেখাই।
7 not to lift: raise [obj] name LORD God your to/for vanity: vain for not to clear LORD [obj] which to lift: raise [obj] name his to/for vanity: vain
তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর নামের অপব্যবহার কোরো না, কারণ যে কেউ তাঁর নামের অপব্যবহার করে সদাপ্রভু তাকে নির্দোষ প্রতিপন্ন করবেন না।
8 (to remember *L(p)*) [obj] (day [the] Sabbath to/for to consecrate: consecate him *L(p)*)
পবিত্রতায় বিশ্রামদিন পালন করে স্মরণ কোরো।
9 (six day to serve: labour and to make: do *L(p)*) all (work your *L(p)*)
ছয় দিন তুমি পরিশ্রম করবে ও তোমার সব কাজকর্ম করবে,
10 and day ([the] seventh Sabbath *L(p)*) to/for LORD (God your *L(p)*) not (to make: do *L(p)*) all (work *L(p)*) you(m. s.) and son: child your (and daughter your servant/slave your and maidservant your and animal your and sojourner your which in/on/with gate your *L(p)*)
কিন্তু সপ্তম দিনটি তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে বিশ্রামদিন। সেদিন তুমি, তোমার ছেলে বা মেয়ে, তোমার দাস বা দাসী, তোমার পশুপাল, বা তোমার নগরে বসবাসকারী কোনো বিদেশি, কেউ কোনও কাজ কোরো না।
11 for six day to make LORD [obj] [the] heaven and [obj] [the] land: country/planet [obj] [the] sea and [obj] all which in/on/with them and to rest in/on/with day [the] seventh upon so to bless LORD [obj] day [the] Sabbath and to consecrate: consecate him
কারণ ছয় দিনে সদাপ্রভু আকাশমণ্ডল ও পৃথিবী, সমুদ্র ও সেগুলির মধ্যে থাকা সমস্ত কিছু তৈরি করেছিলেন, কিন্তু সপ্তম দিন তিনি বিশ্রাম নিয়েছিলেন। তাই সদাপ্রভু সাব্বাথবারকে আশীর্বাদ করে সেটি পবিত্র করলেন।
12 to honor: honour [obj] father your and [obj] mother your because to prolong [emph?] day your upon [the] land: soil which LORD God your to give: give to/for you
তোমার বাবাকে ও তোমার মাকে সম্মান কোরো, যেন তুমি সেই দেশে দীর্ঘকাল বেঁচে থাকতে পারো, যে দেশ তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে দিচ্ছেন।
13 (not to murder *L(p)*)
তুমি নরহত্যা কোরো না।
14 (not to commit adultery *L(p)*)
তুমি ব্যভিচার কোরো না।
15 (not to steal *L(p)*)
তুমি চুরি কোরো না।
16 not to answer in/on/with neighbor your witness deception
তুমি তোমার প্রতিবেশীর বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা সাক্ষ্য দিয়ো না।
17 not to desire house: home neighbor your not to desire woman: wife neighbor your and servant/slave his and maidservant his and cattle his and donkey his and all which to/for neighbor your
তুমি তোমার প্রতিবেশীর ঘরবাড়ির প্রতি লোভ কোরো না। তুমি তোমার প্রতিবেশীর স্ত্রীর, বা তার দাস বা দাসীর, তার বলদের বা গাধার, বা তোমার প্রতিবেশীর অধিকারভুক্ত কোনো কিছুর প্রতি লোভ কোরো না।”
18 and all [the] people to see: see [obj] [the] voice: thunder and [obj] [the] torch and [obj] voice: sound [the] trumpet and [obj] [the] mountain: mount smoking and to see: see [the] people and to shake and to stand: stand from distant
যখন লোকেরা বজ্রপাত হতে ও বিদ্যুৎ চমকাতে দেখল এবং শিঙার শব্দ শুনল ও পর্বত ধোঁয়ায় ঢেকে যেতে দেখল, তখন তারা ভয়ে কেঁপে উঠল। তারা দূরে দাঁড়িয়ে পড়ল
19 and to say to(wards) Moses to speak: speak you(m. s.) with us and to hear: hear and not to speak: speak with us God lest to die
এবং মোশিকে বলল, “আপনি নিজেই আমাদের সঙ্গে কথা বলুন ও আমরা তা শুনব। কিন্তু ঈশ্বর যেন আমাদের সঙ্গে কথা না বলেন পাছে আমরা মারা যাই।”
20 and to say Moses to(wards) [the] people not to fear for to/for in/on/with for the sake of to test [obj] you to come (in): come [the] God and in/on/with for the sake of to be fear his upon face: before your to/for lest to sin
মোশি লোকদের বললেন, “ভয় পেয়ো না। ঈশ্বর তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করতে এসেছেন, যেন পাপ করা থেকে তোমাদের বিরত রাখার জন্য ঈশ্বরভয় তোমাদের সহবর্তী হয়।”
21 and to stand: stand [the] people from distant and Moses to approach: approach to(wards) [the] cloud which there [the] God
লোকেরা দূরে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকল, আর মোশি সেই ঘন অন্ধকারের দিকে এগিয়ে গেলেন যেখানে ঈশ্বর উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
22 and to say LORD to(wards) Moses thus to say to(wards) son: descendant/people Israel you(m. p.) to see: see for from [the] heaven to speak: speak with you
তখন সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন, “ইস্রায়েলীদের একথা বলো: ‘তোমরা নিজেরাই দেখলে যে আমি স্বর্গ থেকে তোমাদের সঙ্গে কথা বলেছি:
23 not to make [emph?] with me God silver: money and God gold not to make to/for you
আমার পাশাপাশি রাখার জন্য অন্য কোনও দেবতা তৈরি কোরো না; নিজেদের জন্য রুপোর দেবতা বা সোনার দেবতা তৈরি কোরো না।
24 altar land: soil to make to/for me and to sacrifice upon him [obj] burnt offering your and [obj] peace offering your [obj] flock your and [obj] cattle your in/on/with all [the] place which to remember [obj] name my to come (in): come to(wards) you and to bless you
“‘আমার জন্য মাটি দিয়ে একটি যজ্ঞবেদি তৈরি করো এবং সেটির উপর তোমাদের হোমবলি ও মঙ্গলার্থক বলি উৎসর্গ করো, মেষ ও ছাগল, ও তোমাদের গবাদি পশুপাল বলি দাও। আমি যেখানেই আমার নাম সম্মানিত করব, সেখানেই আমি তোমাদের কাছে আসব এবং তোমাদের আশীর্বাদ করব।
25 and if altar stone to make to/for me not to build [obj] them cutting for sword your to wave upon her and to profane/begin: profane her
তোমরা যদি আমার জন্য পাথরের এক যজ্ঞবেদি তৈরি করো, তবে খোদিত পাথর দিয়ে তা নির্মাণ কোরো না, কারণ যদি সেটিতে যন্ত্রপাতি ব্যবহার করো তবে তোমরা সেটি অশুচি করে তুলবে।
26 and not to ascend: rise in/on/with step upon altar my which not to reveal: uncover nakedness your upon him
আর সিঁড়ির ধাপ বেয়ে আমার যজ্ঞবেদিতে উঠো না, পাছে তোমাদের গোপনাঙ্গগুলি অনাবৃত হয়ে যায়।’
