< John 12 >

1 But Jeshu six days before the petscha came to Bethania, where Loozar was, he whom Jeshu had raised from among the dead.
Kalchuh kut kipatna ding nigup masang'in, athi a kona athodoh Lazarus umna Bethany a chun Yeshua ahungin,
2 And they made him there a supper and Martha served, and Loozar was one of those who reclined with him.
Hiti chun ama dingin jan an asemun, chuleh Marthan ajenlen Lazarus vang chu ankonga ama toh touho lah'a chun apangin ahi.
3 But Mariam took a vase of balsam of the finest nard, great in price, and anointed the feet of Jeshu, and wiped with her hair his feet, and the house was filled with the fragrance of the balsam.
Chuin Mary in halpi bei Bego thao namtui man tamtah chu ahin choiyin Yeshua kengphanga anun asamin atheh ngimin ahileh agimnam chun insung chu alosoh jeng in ahi.
4 And Jihuda Scarjuta, one of his disciples, he who would betray him said,
Chuin seijui holah a khat Simon chapa Judas Iscariot, amatsah a pang dingpa chun,
5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred dinoreen, and given to the poor?
“Hiche thao namtui hi manlutah ahi. man tamtah'a joh a mivaicha genthei ho pehding ahi,” ati.
6 But this he said, not because for the poor he had care, but because he was a thief, and the purse was with him, and whatever fell into it he carried.
Aman hiche ati chu vaicha genthei khohsah a asei ahipoi, ama chu gucha ahin, chule sumdip avop ahin, asunga kikoi chu akilahji ahi.
7 But Jeshu said, Let her alone. For the day of my burial had she kept it.
Hichun Yeshuan adonbut'in, “Amanu chu limsah hih'un. Kakivui nia dinga kigontup theina a abol ahi.
8 In all time the poor you have with you; but me you have not at all time.
Nanghon genthei chaga aphat seh a nanei jing dingu ahi, ahin keima vang aphat seh a nangho lah a umjoulou ding kahi,” ati.
9 And a great company of Jihudoyee who were there heard Jeshu. And they had come not on Jeshu's account only, but also to see Loozar, he whom he had raised from among the dead.
Chuin mipi hon Yeshua chukoma ahunge ti ajah phat'un, Judah ho mi tamtah ama chung chang jeng hilouvin, athi lah a kona athodoh Lazarus jong chu venomin ahenga ahung tauve.
10 But the chief priests were minded to slay Loozar also,
Hichun thempu pipuihon Lazarus jeng jong thadoh dingin agongun ahi.
11 because many of the Jihudoyee on account of him had gone and believed in Jeshu.
Ajeh chu amapa jeh tah a jong chu miho lah a tamtah pin amaho anuse uva Yeshua atahsan u ahitan ahi.
12 THE day after, a great gathering of those who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jeshu was coming to Urishlem,
Hiche ni ajingin kut'a dinga hung mipi atama tamin, Yeshua Jerusalema dingin ahunge, ti ajah phat'un,
13 took branches of palms, and went forth to meet him. And they cried out, saying, Aushana! Blessed is he who cometh in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel.
Lusu na akidop'un aga lamtouvin, “Hosana, Pakai min a hunga Israelte Lengpa chu anun nome,” tin asam asamun ahi.
14 And Jeshu caused to be found an ass, and sat upon him; as it is written,
Chuin Yeshuan sangan chalgol khat amun, achunga atouvin ahi;
15 Fear not, daughter of Tseun: behold, thy King cometh to thee, and riding on a colt, the foal of an ass.
“Vo Zion chanu, kicha hih-in; Ven, nalengpa sangan nou chunga atouvin ahunge,” tia kisun bang chun.
16 But these the disciples knew not at that time; but when Jeshu was glorified, the disciples remembered that these were written concerning him, and (that) these (things) they had done unto him.
Hicheng thu chu Yeshua seijuiten amasan ana hepouvin ahi, ahin Yeshua choiat'a aumdoh phat chun, hiche thu chu ama thudol'a kisunsa ahin, amahon hitia chu abol'u ahi tichu ageldoh tauve.
17 But the assembly that was with him when he called Loozar from the sepulchre, and raised him from among the dead, bare witness.
Hichun aman Lazarus akouva athi lah a kona athodoh pettah a aumpi mipi chengse chu athu hettohsah a pang ahiuve.
18 And on account of this, great multitudes went forth to receive him; for they had heard that this sign he had done.
Hiche melchihna abol ajah jeh tah-uva chu mipi chun alamtou ahi.
19 But the Pharishee said one to another, See you that you do not profit any thing! For, behold, the whole world is gone after him.
Hichun Pharisee ho khat le khat akihou lim un, “Veuvin eihon imacha ibol thei dingu aumpoi; ajeh chu mijousen ama nung ajui cheh tauve,” atiuvin ahi.
20 Now there were also from the Gentiles men who had ascended to worship at the feast.
Hiche kalchuh kut a chu Pathen hou dinga Greek mi phabep khat chetou ahiuvin;
21 These came and drew near to Philipos, who was of Beth-tsaida of Galila; and they requested of him, and said to him, Mari, we desire to see Jeshu.
Hichun amaho Galilee gam'a Bethsaida khoa mi Philip henga ahungun ajah'a, “Pu Yeshua chu kamu nomui,” ahung tiuve.
22 And Philipos came and told Andreas, and Andreas and Philipos told Jeshu.
Hichun Philip ahungin Andrew jah'a ahung seiyin, chuin Andrew ahungin Philip toh Yeshua jah a asei lhone.
23 BUT Jeshu answered and said to them, The hour hath come that the Son of man may be glorified.
Yeshuan adonbut in, “Mihem Chapa choiat'a aum ding phat ahung lhunge.
24 Amen, amen, I say to you, That a grain of wheat if it fall not and die in the earth remaineth alone; but if it die, it bringeth much fruits.
Thutah chu ahile, chang malkhat chu tol'a tulut in aumjie. Hichu athilou le achangin aumden ji bouve; athi vang le tamtah agajin ahi.
25 He who loveth his life shall lose it; and he who hateth his life in this world shall keep it to the life which is eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Koi hijongle hiche vannoi leiset chunga ahinkho itcha ho chu mangthah ding ahi; ahin koi hijongle hiche vannoi leiset chunga ahinkho pedoh ho chun tonsot hinkemlou anei dingu ahi. (aiōnios g166)
26 If any man serve me, let him come after me; and where I am, there shall be also my servant: whoever serveth me, him will my Father honour.
Koi hijongle kalhacha a panga chun kanung eijuihen, keima umna'a chu kalha cha jong um ding ahi; mi koi hile kalhacha a panga chu Pa chun ajabol ding ahi.”
27 Now my soul, behold it is commoved; and what shall I say? My Father, deliver me from this hour:
Tun kalung adongtai; ipi kati ding ham? Pa, hiche nidan a kon hin neihuhdoh-in, ahivangin hiche dinga hi tu nidan geiya hi hung kahi.
28 but on account of this have I come unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. And the voice was heard from heaven, I have glorified, and again I glorify.
“Pa, namin choiat in” ati. Hiche chun van'a konin Aw ahung gingin, “kachoian tai, chule choian kit nalai ding kahi,” ati.
29 And the company who stood, heard, and they said there was thunder. But others said, An angel spake with him.
Hiche chun akimvel a ding mipi chun hichu ajauvin, “Van aginge,” atiuvin; adangsen, “Vantil in ajah a thu asei ahi,” atiuve.
30 Jeshu answered and said to them, Not on my account was this voice, but on your account.
Hichun Pakai Yeshuan amaho chu adonbut'in, “Hiche awgin najah'u chu nangma ho phatchomna ding ahibouve, keima a ding ahipoi.
31 Now is the judgment of this world; now is the ruler of this world cast out.
Hiche vannoi leiset chunga thutanna phat ahung lhungtai, Satan vannoiya vaihompa nodoh naphat jong hung lhung ding ahitai.”
32 And I, when I have been lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
Chule keima leiset'a kona kathodoh tengle keiman mi jouse kahenga dinga kahungpui ding nahiuve.
33 But this he said to show by what death he should die.
Hichu aman athi ding dan tahlang na a hitia chu asei ahi.
34 The people said to him, We have heard from the law that the Meshicha for ever abideth: how sayest thou that the Son of man is to be lifted up? Who is this Son of man? (aiōn g165)
Mihonpi chun adonbut'in, “Keihonla Messiah chu tonsot'a hing jing ding ahi, ti Pathen Lekhabua kon in kaheuvin; Ipi jeh a Mihem Chapa thiding ahi nati thei ham? Hiche Mihem Chapa chu amonga koi ham?” atiuve; (aiōn g165)
35 Jeshu saith to them, A little further time is the light with you. Walk while you have the light, that the darkness overtake you not. And whoever walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
Yeshuan adonbut'in, “Kavah hi nalah uva chomkhat bou umnalai ding ahi; muthim in naphah louna dingun vah umpet hin vahle uvin; muthima vahlea chun achena ding ahepoi.
36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that the sons of light you may become. These spake Jeshu, and went (and) concealed himself from them.
Vah nanei pet chau hin vah chate nahi theina dingun vah chu tahsanun,” ati. Thu hicheng chu aseiyin, apotdoh-in amahoa kon chun akiseltai.
37 Yet though all these signs he had done before them, they believed not in him:
Isaiah themgao thusei: “Pakai kathuseiyu kon atahsan em? Chule Pakai ban thahat koi henga kilang am?”
38 that the word of the prophet Eshaia might be fulfilled, who said, My Lord, who hath believed our report, And the arm of the Lord, to whom hath it been revealed?
Tia asei chu guilhun theina ding chun, a-ang sunguva melchihna kidang tamtah abolin, ahivangin atahsan pouve.
39 Because of this they were not able to believe: Wherefore again Eshaia had said,
Hiche thua hin Isaiah themgao chun avel in aseikit in:
40 He hath blinded their eyes, And darkened their heart, That they should not see with their eyes, And understand with their heart, And be turned, and I should heal them.
“Aman amit'u asuchon, alungu asutah tai; achuti loule amit'un mu'uvin tin, chule alungun heuvin tin, chule hung kihei kit'un tin keiman boldam get inge,” ati; hiche jeh a hi amahon atahsan thei lou'u ahi.
41 These said Eshaia when he saw his glory, and spake concerning him.
Isaiah chun aloupi chu amu jeh a hicheng chu aseiya; ama ho thudol chu asei ahi.
42 Yet of the chiefs also many believed in him: but because of the Pharishee they did not confess, that they might not be put out of the synagogue:
Achuti vang'in vaipo ho jeng jong tamtah'in atahsan tauve; ahinla Pharisee ho jeh chun kikhop na akonin eiki kaidoh khante, tin aseidoh aumpouve.
43 for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of Aloha.
Ajeh chu amahon Pathen choiat sangin mihem choiat adei jouvin ahi.
44 But Jeshu cried and said, He who believeth in me, believeth not in me, but in him who sent me.
Hichun Yeshuan aw sangtah in asam in, “Koi hijongle keima eitahsan chun keima hilou va eisolpa joh atahsan ahibouve;
45 And he who seeth me seeth him who sent me.
Chule keima eimua chun eisolpa amu ahi.
46 I the light am come into the world, that every one who believeth in me might not abide in darkness.
Koi hijong le keima eitahsan a chu muthim a a-umlouna dinga keima vah hina a vannoiya hung kahi.
47 And he who heareth my words, and doth not keep them, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Mikhat touvin kathu jahen nit hih jongle athu katanpoi; ijeh inem itile keima vannoi thutan'a hung kahipoi, vannoi huhhing ding joh a hung kahibouve.
48 He who rejecteth me, and receiveth not my word, hath that which judgeth him: the word which I speak, that judgeth him in the last day.
Koi hijongle keima eipampaiya kathuhil jong joplou chu, thupi kitan nile thutah kaseidoh hin achungthu atan ding ahi.
49 For I of myself have not spoken, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
Ijeh inem itile keiman kacham'a kasei ahipoi, eisol'a Pa chun kasei dingle kapao ding dan hi thu eipeh ahibouve.
50 And I know that his commandments are life everlasting: these therefore which I speak, as said to me my Father, so I speak. (aiōnios g166)
Ama thupeh chu tonsot hinna ahi, ti kahei; hiche jeh a chu kathusei hi Pan eihil bang banga kasei ahi,” ati. (aiōnios g166)
