< Luke 18 >

1 AND he spake also a parable to them, that in all time (men) should pray and not weary.
Hanchu, sabei mindong loia chubai an tho tit rang ani iti rilna rangin hi chongmintêk hih Jisua'n a misîra.
2 There was a judge in a certain city who of Aloha was not afraid, and of men was not regardful.
“Khopui inkhata hin roijêkpu, Pathien khom chiloi, mi lien khom chiloi inkhat a oma.
3 But a certain widow was in that city, who came to him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary.
Ha khou nanâka han meithâi inkhat a oma, ân dôipui chunga phuba lâk ranga ngênin a se bang ngâia.
4 And he was not willing long time; but afterward he said within himself, If of Aloha I am not afraid, and of men am not regardful,
Zora sôtzan chu roijêkpu han nuom pe maka, ania nûka a mulungin, ‘Pathien le mi lien chi no khom inlang,
5 yet, because this widow wearies me, I will avenge her, that in all time she come not molesting me.
hi meithâi hin chakal ni tho banga, hi anga hin a hong banga anîn chu nûka chu ni la minjêl chit a tih. Masikin a phuba lei luokpui rong,’ a tia.”
6 And our Lord said, Hear what saith the unrighteous judge.
Pumapa'n, a chongril ala zoma, “Rangâi ta u, imo ha roijêkpu saloi han ai ti.
7 But shall not Aloha do vengeance for his chosen, who cry to him by day and by night, and prolong his spirit towards them?
Masikin, Pathien'n a mingei sanna ngêna, sûntin, jântina chapngei chungroi mindon noni mo? San minnu ni mo?
8 I tell you he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man shall come, will he find faith upon the earth?
Nangni ki ril, an nuomnan inrang takin mindon pe a tih. Ania, Miriem Nâipasal a juong tikin rammuola taksônna mu ni mo?” a tia.
9 And he spake this parable against some who trusted in themselves that they were just, and despised all (men):
Ama le ama ka sa intia, midang esêl ngâi ngei kôma hi chongmintêk hih a misîra.
10 Two men went up to the temple to pray, the one a Pharisha, the other a publican;
Voikhat chu mi inikin Biekina chubai tho rangin an sea. Inkhat chu Pharisee ania inkhat chu sumrusuongpu ani.
11 and, behold, the Pharisha stood (and) within himself these words prayed: Aloha, I thank thee that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious and unjust, and adulterers; nor as this publican.
Pharisee chu athenin ândinga chubai a thoa, “Pathien, kei chu midang ngei angin mi ranghuol ngâi, dikloi, inrê mi khom kini loi sikin, râisânchong ki ril. So, sumrusuongpu anga khom ki niloi sikin râisânchong ki ril.
12 But I fast twice in the week, and tithe whatever I possess.
Hapta tin sûnnik bu ke ngêi ngâia, ke nei murdi a sômakhat nang ke pêk ngâi,” a tia.
13 But that publican stood from afar, and would not even his eyes lift up to heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, Aloha, be merciful to me a sinner!
Ania, sumrusuongpu chu lâtaka indingin, invân tieng luo tang ngam loiin, a rôp ruchumin, “Pathien, mi nunsie ki ni, inrieng ni mu roh,” a tia.
14 I tell you that this one went down justified to his house, rather than that Pharisha. For every man who exalteth himself shall be humbled, and every one who humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Jisua'n nangni ki ril, “Pharisee mi ni loiin, sumrusuongpu chu Pathien mita theiintumin, a in tieng a se zoi. Tutu omlien kaichu intem an ta, intem kaichu minlutin om an tih,” a tia.
15 Then they brought to him infants, that he should touch them: and the disciples saw it, and rebuked them.

16 But Jeshu called them, and said to them, Suffer children to come to me, and forbid them not; for of those who are as these,

Diktakin ki ti, tutu nâipangte'n Pathien Rêngram ai modôm anga modôm loiin chu asûnga lût tet no nih,” a tia.
18 AND one of the rulers asked him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
Juda ruoipu'n Jisua a rekela, “Minchupu sa, kumtuong ringna ka manna rangin imo ko tho rang?” a tia (aiōnios g166)
19 Jeshu saith to him, Why callest thou me good, and none is good but one, Aloha?
Jisua'n a kôma, “Ithomo asa mini ti? Pathien pênna chu tute misa omak.
20 The commandments thou knowest, Thou shalt not kill, and, Thou shalt not commit adultery, and, Thou shalt not steal, and, Thou shalt not witness false testimony, Honour thy father and thy mother.
Chongpêk hah, ni riet duo, Inrê no roh, mi that no roh, inru no roh, dikloiin mi nôn no roh, na nû le na pa mirit roh,” a tia.
21 He saith to him, These all have I kept from my childhood.
Ama han, “Ha chongpêkngei murdi hah chu ka nâipangte lâi renga ko jôm kêng ani” a tia.
22 But when Jeshu heard this, he said to him, One thing is lacking with thee; go, sell whatever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven, and come after me.
Mahah Jisua'n a riet lehan a kôma, “Neinun inkhat tho rang na la nâng, Ne nei murdi juor inla, asum hah inriengngei sem ngei roh, hanchu, invâna rochon nei ni tih, male chu hong inla ni jûi roh,” a tipea.
23 But he, when he heard these words, was grieved; for he was very rich.
Mahah ama'n a riet lehan, ânngûi oka, miriem neipa ani sikin.
24 And when Jeshu saw that he was grieved, he said, How difficult is it to those who have riches to enter into the kingdom of Aloha!
Hanchu, Jisua'n ânngûi a mûn chu, “Minei ngei Pathien Rêngrama lût rang ântak bah na!
25 It is easier for a camel into the aperture of a needle to enter, than the rich into the kingdom of Aloha.
Ut simphuoi kuora lût rang ântak nêkin mineingei invân rêngrama lût rang intak uol a tih,” a tia.
26 They who heard said to him, And who can be saved?
A chongril riet ngei nâmin, “Hanchu tumo sanminjôk nithei ranga?” tiin an rekela.
27 But Jeshu said, Those (things) which with the sons of men are not possible, with Aloha are possible to be done.

28 Shemun Kipha said to him, Behold, we have forsaken every thing, and have come after thee.

29 Jeshu saith to him, Amen I say to you, That no man who leaveth houses, or fathers, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of Aloha,

31 AND Jeshu took the twelve, and said to them, Behold, we go up to Urishlem, and shall be fulfilled all (things) that are written in the prophets concerning the Son of man.
Hanchu ruoisi sômleinik ngei hah Jisua'n atheiin a tuong ngeia an kôma, “Rangâi ta u, Jerusalema ei se rang ania mahan, Miriem Nâipasal chungroi dêipungei lei miziek hah tung a tih.

34 But not one of these understood they: for this word was hidden from them, and they knew not those sayings which were spoken with them.

38 And he cried and said, Jeshu bar David, have mercy on me!
Ânieka, “Jisua! David Nâipasal, inrieng ni mu roh” a tia.
39 And they who went before Jeshu rebuked him, that he might be silent: but he cried out the more, Son of David, have mercy on me!

43 And in an instant he saw, and came after him, and glorified Aloha: and all the people, when they saw, gave praise to Aloha.
