Luke 9
1 And Jesus called his twelve, and gave them power and authority over all demons and diseases, to heal them.
၁သခင်ယေရှုသည်တမန်တော်တစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်ပါးတို့ ကိုအထံတော်သို့ခေါ်တော်မူပြီးလျှင် နတ်မိစ္ဆာ အပေါင်းကိုနှင်ထုတ်နိုင်သောတန်ခိုးအာဏာ နှင့် အနာရောဂါများကိုပျောက်ကင်းစေနိုင် သောတန်ခိုးအာဏာကိုပေးအပ်တော်မူ၏။-
2 And he sent them forth, to proclaim the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
၂ထိုနောက်ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော်အကြောင်း ကိုဟောပြောရန်လည်းကောင်း၊ ဖျားနာသူများ ကိုကျန်းမာအောင်ကုသပေးရန်လည်းကောင်း စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။-
3 And he said to them: Take nothing for the journey, neither a staff, nor a wallet, nor bread, nor money; neither have two tunics.
၃ကိုယ်တော်က ``လမ်းခရီးအတွက်သင်တို့သည် အဘယ်အရာကိုမျှမယူကြနှင့်။ တောင်ဝှေး၊ လွယ်အိတ်၊ ရိက္ခာ၊ ကြေးငွေတို့ကိုမယူရကြ။ လူတစ်ကိုယ်လျှင်အင်္ကျီအပိုတစ်ထည်ပင် မပါရ။-
4 And into whatever house ye enter, there stay, and thence depart.
၄မည်သည့်အိမ်မဆိုသင်တို့ကိုဝင်ခွင့်ပြုလျှင် မြို့မှထွက်ခွာသည်တိုင်အောင်ထိုအိမ်မှာပင် တည်းခိုကြလော့။-
5 And against them that receive you not, when ye go out of that city, shake off even the dust of your feet against them, for a testimony.
၅သင်တို့အားလက်မခံသူများကိုမူသတိ ပေးသည့်အနေဖြင့် ထိုမြို့မှထွက်ခွာချိန်၌ သင်တို့ခြေဖဝါးမှမြေမှုန့်ကိုခါချခဲ့ကြ လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
6 And the Legates went forth, and travelled about the villages and cities, and preached and healed everywhere.
၆တမန်တော်တို့သည်အထံတော်မှထွက်သွား ပြီးလျှင် အရပ်ရပ်သို့လှည့်လည်လျက်သတင်း ကောင်းကိုဟောပြောကြေညာ၍အနာရောဂါ များကိုပျောက်ကင်းစေကြ၏။
7 And Herod the Tetrarch heard of all the things done by him, and he was disturbed; because some said, that John had arisen from the dead.
၇ဂါလိလဲဘုရင်ခံမင်းကြီးဟေရုဒ်မင်းသည် ကိုယ် တော်ပြုတော်မူသောအမှုအရာများအကြောင်း ကိုကြား၏။ လူအချို့က ``ဗတ္တိဇံဆရာယောဟန် သေရာမှရှင်ပြန်လေပြီ'' ဟူ၍လည်းကောင်း၊-
8 But others said, that Elijah hath appeared; and others, that a prophet from among the ancient prophets hath arisen.
၈အချို့က ``ဧလိယကြွလာလေပြီ'' ဟူ၍ လည်းကောင်း၊ အချို့ကမူ ``ရှေးပရောဖက်တစ် ပါးအသက်ပြန်၍ရှင်လာလေပြီ'' ဟူ၍လည်း ကောင်းပြောဆိုနေကြသည်ကိုဟေရုဒ်သည် ကြားသဖြင့်စိတ်ရှုပ်ထွေးလျက်၊-
9 And Herod said: The head of John, I have cut off; but who is this, of whom I hear these things? And he was desirous to see him.
၉``ငါသည်ယောဟန်၏ဦးခေါင်းကိုဖြတ်ခဲ့၏။ ငါ သတင်းကြားနေရသောဤသူကားအဘယ်သူ နည်း'' ဟုဆို၍သခင်ယေရှုကိုတွေ့မြင်ရန်ကြိုး စားလျက်နေ၏။
10 And when the Legates returned, they narrated, to Jesus all they had done. And he took them aside, to the desert part of Bethsaida.
၁၀တမန်တော်တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ပြန်လာကြ လျက် မိမိတို့လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့သမျှတို့ကိုလျှောက် ထားကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သူတို့ကိုခေါ်၍ ဗက်ဇဲဒနာမည်တွင်သောမြို့သို့ကြွတော်မူ၏။-
11 And when the multitude knew it, they followed him: and he received them, and conversed with them respecting the kingdom of God: and such as had need of healing, he healed.
၁၁လူပရိသတ်တို့သည်ထိုသို့ကြွသွားကြောင်းကို ကြားသိကြသောအခါနောက်တော်သို့လိုက် ကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ထိုသူတို့အားကြိုဆို လက်ခံပြီးလျှင် ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော် အကြောင်းကိုဟောပြောသွန်သင်တော်မူ၏။ မကျန်းမာသူကိုလည်းကျန်းမာစေတော်မူ၏။
12 And when the day began to decline, his disciples came near, and said to him: Send away the multitude, that they may go to the villages around us and to the towns, to lodge in them, and to procure themselves food, for we are in a desert place.
၁၂မိုးချုပ်စပြုသောအခါတစ်ကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးသော တမန်တော်တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်၏ထံသို့လာ၍ ``ဤ လူပရိသတ်ကိုပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကျေးလက်နှင့်တော ရွာများသို့သွား၍ တည်းခိုရန်နေရာနှင့်အစား အစာကိုရှာစေတော်မူပါ။ ဤအရပ်သည်လူ သူနှင့်ဝေးရာအရပ်ဖြစ်ပါ၏'' ဟုလျှောက် ထားကြ၏။
13 Jesus said to then: Give ye them to eat. And they say: We have no more than five loaves and two fishes; unless we go and buy food for all this people:
၁၃ကိုယ်တော်က ``သင်တို့ပင်ထိုသူတို့အားစား စရာကိုကျွေးမွေးကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ တပည့်တော်တို့က ``အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်ဤလူထု အတွက်အစားအစာများကိုသွား၍ဝယ်ရ ပါမည်လော။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ထံမှာမုန့်ငါးလုံး နှင့်ငါးနှစ်ကောင်သာရှိပါ၏'' ဟုပြန်လည် လျှောက်ထားကြ၏။-
14 for they were about five thousand men. Jesus said to them: Make them recline by companies, fifty persons in a company.
၁၄(အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဤသို့လျှောက်ထားရသနည်း ဆိုသော်လူပရိသတ်ဦးရေငါးထောင်ခန့်ရှိ သောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။) ကိုယ်တော်က ``ဤသူတို့ကိုငါးဆယ်ခန့်စီ အစုလိုက်ထိုင်စေကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ သည်။-
15 And the disciples did so, and made them all recline.
၁၅တပည့်တော်တို့သည်အမိန့်တော်အတိုင်း ဆောင်ရွက်ကြ၏။-
16 And Jesus took the five loaves and two fishes, and looked towards heaven, and blessed, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before the multitudes.
၁၆ကိုယ်တော်သည်မုန့်ငါးလုံးနှင့်ငါးနှစ်ကောင်ကို ယူတော်မူ၏။ ထိုနောက်ကောင်းကင်သို့မျှော်ကြည့် လျက်ဘုရားသခင်၏ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုချီးမွမ်း ၍ မုန့်နှင့်ငါးကိုဖဲ့တော်မူပြီးလျှင်လူတို့အား ဝေငှရန်အတွက်တပည့်တော်တို့အားပေးအပ် တော်မူ၏။-
17 And they all ate, and were satisfied: and they took up the fragments of remains, twelve baskets.
၁၇လူအပေါင်းတို့သည်အဝစားရကြ၏။ သူတို့ ၏စားကြွင်းစားကျန်များကိုကောက်သိမ်းရာ တောင်းတစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်တောင်းအပြည့်ရကြ၏။
18 And as he was praying in private with his disciples, he asked them, and said: Who, do the multitudes say of me, that I am?
၁၈အခါတစ်ပါး၌ကိုယ်တော်သည်တစ်ကိုယ်တည်း ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုလျက်နေတော်မူသောအခါ တပည့်တော်တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်၏ထံတော်သို့လာ ကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်က ``လူတို့သည်ငါ့ကိုအဘယ် သူဟုဆိုကြသနည်း'' ဟုမေးတော်မူ၏။
19 They answer and say to him: John the Baptizer; others, Elijah and others, a prophet, one of the ancient prophets arisen.
၁၉တပည့်တော်တို့က ``ဗတ္တိဇံဆရာယောဟန်ဟု အချို့ဆိုကြပါသည်။ အချို့ကဧလိယဟူ၍ လည်းကောင်း၊ အချို့ကမူပြန်လည်အသက်ရှင်လာ သောရှေးပရောဖက်တစ်ပါးဟူ၍လည်းကောင်း ပြောဆိုကြပါသည်'' ဟုလျှောက်ထားကြ၏။
20 He said to them: But who, do ye say, that I am? Simon answered, and said: The Messiah of God.
၂၀ထိုအခါကိုယ်တော်က ``သင်တို့ကမူငါ့ကို အဘယ်သူဟုဆိုကြသနည်း'' ဟုမေးတော် မူ၏။ ပေတရုက ``အရှင်သည်ဘုရားသခင်စေလွှတ် တော်မူသည့်မေရှိယဖြစ်ပါသည်'' ဟုဖြေဆို လျှောက်ထား၏။
21 And he chided them, and charged them, that they should say this to no one.
၂၁ကိုယ်တော်က ``ဤအကြောင်းကိုမည်သူမျှ မသိစေနှင့်'' ဟုကြပ်တည်းစွာပညတ်တော် မူ၏။-
22 And he said to them: The Son of man is to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the Elders and the chief priests and Scribes; and they will kill him; and on the third day, he will arise.
၂၂ထိုနောက်ဆက်လက်၍ ``လူသားသည်ဝေဒနာများ စွာခံတော်မူရမည်။ ဘာသာရေးခေါင်းဆောင်များ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ကြီးများနှင့်ကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာ များသည်သူ့ကိုပစ်ပယ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ လူသား သည်အသေခံရမည်။ သုံးရက်မြောက်သောနေ့ ၌ရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက်လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုတပည့်တော် တို့အားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
23 And he said before all the people: He that would follow me, must deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and so come after me.
၂၃ထိုနောက်ကိုယ်တော်ကလူအပေါင်းတို့အား ``ငါ့ တပည့်ဖြစ်လိုသူသည်ကိုယ်ကျိုးကိုစွန့်ရမည်။ ကိုယ့်လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်ကိုနေ့စဉ်ထမ်း၍ငါ့ နောက်သို့လိုက်ရမည်။-
24 For he that will preserve his life, shall lose it; but he that shall lose his life, for my sake, will preserve it.
၂၄မိမိအသက်ကိုကယ်ဆယ်လိုသူသည်အသက် ဆုံးရှုံးရလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ့ကြောင့်အသက်ဆုံးရှုံး သူသည်မိမိအသက်ကိုကယ်ဆယ်လိမ့်မည်။-
25 For, what will a man be profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose his life or be deprived of it?
၂၅လူသည်တစ်လောကလုံးကိုစိုးပိုင်ခွင့်ရသော် လည်း မိမိ၏အသက်ဆုံးရှုံးလျှင်အဘယ် အကျိုးရှိမည်နည်း။-
26 And whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father, with his holy angels.
၂၆မည်သူမဆိုငါနှင့်ငါ၏သြဝါဒကြောင့်ရှက် လျှင်လူသားသည်မိမိ၏ဘုန်းအသရေ၊ ခမည်း တော်၏ဘုန်းအသရေ၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောကောင်းကင် တမန်များ၏ဘုန်းအသရေကိုဆောင်လျက် ကြွလာသောအခါထိုသူကြောင့်ရှက်တော်မူ လတ္တံ့။-
27 I tell you the truth, that there are some standing here, who will not taste death, until they shall see the kingdom of God.
၂၇သင်တို့အားအမှန်အကန်ငါဆိုသည်ကား ဤ အရပ်ရှိလူအချို့တို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏ နိုင်ငံတော်ကိုမမြင်မီမသေရကြ'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
28 And it was about eight days after these discourses, that Jesus took Simon and James and John, and went up a mountain to pray.
၂၈ဤသို့မိန့်တော်မူပြီးနောက်ရှစ်ရက်ခန့်ကြာသော အခါကိုယ်တော်သည်ပေတရု၊ ယောဟန်၊ ယာကုပ် တို့ကိုခေါ်၍ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုရန်တောင်ပေါ် သို့ကြွတော်မူ၏။-
29 And while he prayed, the aspect of his countenance was changed, and his garments became white and brilliant.
၂၉ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုလျက်နေတော်မူစဉ်မျက်နှာ တော်၏အဆင်းအရောင်သည်ထူးခြားလာလျက်၊ အဝတ်တော်သည်ဖြူဖွေးတောက်ပလာ၏။-
30 And lo, two men were talking with him: and they were Moses and Elijah,
၃၀လူနှစ်ယောက်တို့သည်ရုတ်တရက်ပေါ်လာ၍ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်စကားပြောလျက်နေ၏။ ထိုသူ တို့သည်ကားမောရှေနှင့်ဧလိယဖြစ်ကြ၏။-
31 who appeared in glory. And they were conversing on his departure, which was to be consummated at Jerusalem.
၃၁သူတို့သည်ဘုန်းအသရေနှင့်တကွပေါ်လာ ၍ဘုရားသခင်၏အလိုတော်အရမကြာမီ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့တွင်ကိုယ်တော်အသေခံတော် မူရမည့်အကြောင်းကိုကိုယ်တော်နှင့်ပြောဆို နေကြသတည်း။-
32 And Simon and those with him were oppressed with drowsiness; and being scarcely awake, they saw his glory, and those two men who stood near him.
၃၂ပေတရုနှင့်အဖော်များသည်ငိုက်မြည်း အိပ်ပျော်လျက်နေကြ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်သူတို့ နိုးလာသောအခါကိုယ်တော်၏ဘုန်းအသ ရေတော်ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်အတူ ရပ်နေသူနှစ်ဦးကိုလည်းကောင်းမြင်ကြ၏။-
33 And when they began t to retire from him, Simon said to Jesus: Rabbi, it is delightful for us to be here. And let us make here three booths, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. But he knew not what he said.
၃၃ထိုသူနှစ်ဦးတို့ကိုယ်တော်၏ထံမှထွက်ခွာသွား နေကြစဉ်ပေတရုက ``အရှင်ဘုရား၊ ဤအရပ် တွင်နေဖွယ်ကောင်းပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်အတွက်တဲ တစ်ဆောင်၊ မောရှေအတွက်တဲတစ်ဆောင်၊ ဧလိယ အတွက်တဲတစ်ဆောင်၊ တဲသုံးဆောင်ကိုအကျွန်ုပ် တို့ဆောက်ပါရစေ'' ဟုပြောမိပြောရာပြောဆို လျှောက်ထား၏။
34 And as he thus spoke, there was a cloud; and it overshadowed them; and they were afraid, when they saw Moses and Elijah go up into the cloud.
၃၄ဤသို့လျှောက်ထားစဉ်မိုးတိမ်တိုက်တစ်ခုသည် ပေါ်လာ၍သူတို့အပေါ်မှာတိမ်ရိပ်ကျလေ၏။-
35 And there was a voice from the cloud, which said: This is my beloved Son; hear ye him.
၃၅မိုးတိမ်တိုက်သူတို့အပေါ်သို့ရောက်လာသော အခါသူတို့သည်ကြောက်လန့်ကြ၏။ မိုးတိမ် ထဲက ``ဤသူကားငါ၏သားတော်ဖြစ်၏။ သူ့ အားငါရွေးကောက်တော်မူပြီ။ သူ၏စကား ကိုနားထောင်ကြလော့'' ဟုအသံတော်ထွက် ပေါ်လာ၏။
36 And when the voice had passed, Jesus was found to be alone. And they kept silence, and told no one in those days what they had seen.
၃၆အသံတော်ထွက်ပေါ်ပြီးသည့်နောက်သခင်ယေရှု တစ်ပါးတည်းကိုသာလျှင်တပည့်တော်တို့မြင် ရကြ၏။ သူတို့သည်မိမိတို့တွေ့မြင်ရသည့် အကြောင်းအရာကိုထိုစဉ်အခါကမည်သူ့ ကိုမျှမပြောဘဲဆိတ်ဆိတ်နေကြ၏။
37 And the next day, as they came down from the mountain, a great multitude met them.
၃၇နောက်တစ်နေ့၌ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်တပည့်တော်တို့သည် တောင်ပေါ်မှဆင်းလာကြ၏။ ထိုအခါများစွာ သောလူပရိသတ်တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုခရီးဦး ကြိုဆိုကြ၏။-
38 And a man from the throng cried out, and said: Teacher, I beseech thee, turn thyself to me. Here is my only son:
၃၈ပရိသတ်ထဲမှလူတစ်ယောက်က ``ဆရာတော်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏သားကိုကြည့်ရှုတော်မူရန်တောင်း ပန်ပါ၏။ သူသည်အကျွန်ုပ်၏တစ်ဦးတည်းသော သားဖြစ်ပါ၏။-
39 and a spirit cometh upon him, and he suddenly crieth out, and gnasheth his teeth, and foameth; and he hardly leaveth him, when he hath crushed him.
၃၉နတ်ပူးဝင်သဖြင့်ရုတ်တရက်အော်ဟစ်တတ် ပါ၏။ နတ်သည်သူ့ကိုတုန်တက်စေသဖြင့်သူ့ ပါးစပ်မှအမြှုပ်ထွက်တတ်ပါ၏။ နတ်သည် သူ့အားပင်ပန်းမောဟိုက်နာကျင်စေပြီးမှ ခက်ခက်ခဲခဲနှင့်သာလျှင်ထွက်ခွာတတ်ပါ၏။-
40 And I requested thy disciples to expel him; and they could not.
၄၀အကျွန်ုပ်သည်အရှင်၏တပည့်များအားထို နတ်ကိုနှင်ထုတ်ပေးရန်တောင်းပန်ပါသော် လည်းသူတို့သည်မတတ်နိုင်ကြပါ'' ဟု လျှောက်ထား၏။
41 And Jesus answered, and said: O the unbelieving and perverse generation! How long shall I be with you, and bear with you? Bring hither thy son.
၄၁သခင်ယေရှုက ``ယုံကြည်ခြင်းမရှိ၊ ဖောက်ပြန် တတ်သောခေတ်လူတို့၊ ငါသည်သင်တို့နှင့်အတူ မည်မျှကြာအောင်နေ၍သည်းခံရမည်နည်း'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုနောက်ထိုသူအား ``သင်၏သား ကိုခေါ်ခဲ့လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
42 And while he was bringing him, the demon threw him down, and convulsed him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the lad, and delivered him to his father.
၄၂သူငယ်လာနေစဉ်ပင်နတ်မိစ္ဆာသည်သူ့အားမြေ ပေါ်သို့လှဲ၍တုန်တက်စေ၏။ သခင်ယေရှုသည် နတ်မိစ္ဆာအားအမိန့်ပေး၍သူငယ်ကိုကျန်းမာ စေတော်မူပြီးနောက်ဖခင်အားပြန်လည်ပေး အပ်တော်မူ၏။-
43 And they were all amazed at the majesty of God. And while every one admired at all that Jesus did, he said to his disciples:
၄၃လူအပေါင်းတို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏မဟာ တန်ခိုးတော်ကိုမြင်ရ၍အံ့သြကြကုန်၏။ လူတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်ပြုတော်မူသောအမှု အရာများကြောင့်အံ့သြနေကြစဉ်၊ ကိုယ်တော် က၊-
44 Lay up these words in your minds: for the Son of man is to be delivered into the hands of men.
၄၄``လူသားသည်လူတို့၏လက်သို့အပ်နှံခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။ ဤစကားကိုသင်တို့သတိပြု၍ မှတ်ထားကြလော့'' ဟုတပည့်တော်တို့အား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
45 But they understood not that speech; because it was hidden from them, that they should not know it: and they feared to ask him concerning that speech.
၄၅သို့ရာတွင်တပည့်တော်တို့သည်ထိုစကားကို နားမလည်ကြ။ ယင်းသို့နားမလည်ကြစေရန် အနက်အဋ္ဌိပ္ပါယ်ကွယ်ဝှက်လျက်ရှိသတည်း။ သူ တို့သည်လည်းကိုယ်တော်အားမမေးမလျှောက် ဝံ့ကြ။
46 And the thought arose among them, which of them was to be the greatest.
၄၆တပည့်တော်တို့သည်မိမိတို့တွင်အဘယ်သူ သည်အကြီးမြတ်ဆုံးနည်းဟုအချင်းချင်း အခြေအတင်ပြောဆိုနေကြ၏။-
47 And Jesus knew the thought of their heart: and he took a child, and placed him near to him;
၄၇သခင်ယေရှုသည်ထိုသို့ငြင်းခုံနေကြသည် ကိုသိတော်မူသဖြင့် ကလေးသူငယ်တစ်ယောက် ကိုခေါ်၍မိမိအနီးတွင်ရပ်စေတော်မူ၏။-
48 and said to them: Whoever receiveth a child like this, in my name, receiveth me; and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me. For he that shall be least among you all, he will be the great one.
၄၈ထိုနောက်ကိုယ်တော်က ``ငါ၏နာမကိုထောက် ၍ဤကလေးသူငယ်ကိုလက်ခံသောသူသည် ငါ့ကိုလက်ခံ၏။ ငါ့ကိုလက်ခံသောသူသည် ငါ့ကိုစေလွှတ်တော်မူသောအရှင်ကိုလက်ခံ ၏။ သင်တို့တွင်အသိမ်ငယ်ဆုံးသောသူသည် အကြီးမြတ်ဆုံးဖြစ်၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
49 And John answered, and said: Our Rabbi, we saw a man casting out demons in thy name; and we forbad him, because he doth not, with us, follow thee.
၄၉ယောဟန်က ``အရှင်ဘုရား၊ လူတစ်ယောက်သည် အရှင်၏နာမတော်ကိုအမှီပြု၍နတ်မိစ္ဆာတို့ ကိုနှင်ထုတ်နေသည်ကိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွေ့မြင် ခဲ့ပါသည်။ သူသည်အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ဘက်သား မဟုတ်။ ထို့ကြောင့်အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်သူ့အား အရှင်၏နာမတော်ကိုအသုံးမပြုရန် တားမြစ်ခဲ့ပါ၏'' ဟုလျှောက်ထား၏။
50 Jesus said to them: Forbid not: for, whoever is not against you, is for you.
၅၀သခင်ယေရှုက ``ထိုသူကိုမတားမြစ်ကြ နှင့်။ သင်တို့ကိုမဆန့်ကျင်သူသည်သင်တို့ ဘက်သားဖြစ်၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
51 And when the days for his ascension were completed, so it was, that he set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
၅၁ကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့တက်ကြွရန်အချိန်နီးလာ သောအခါ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ ကြွတော်မူရန်စိတ်ပိုင်းဖြတ်လျက်-
52 And he sent messengers before his face; and they went, and entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare lodgings for him.
၅၂စေတမန်များကိုကြိုတင်စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။ သူတို့သည်သွား၍ကိုယ်တော်၏အတွက်ပြင် ဆင်မှုများကိုပြုရန်ရှမာရိရွာတစ်ရွာသို့ ဝင်ကြ၏။-
53 And they received him not, because he had set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
၅၃သို့ရာတွင်ကိုယ်တော်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ ခရီးပြုလျက်နေတော်မူသည်ကိုထောက်၍ ရွာသားတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုလက်မခံကြ။-
54 And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said to him: Our Lord, wilt thou that we speak, and fire come down from heaven, and consume them, as also did Elijah?
၅၄ဤအခြင်းအရာကိုကိုယ်တော်၏တပည့်တော် များဖြစ်ကြသောယာကုပ်နှင့်ယောဟန်တို့မြင် ကြသောအခါ ``အရှင်ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကောင်းကင်မှမီးကျ၍ထိုသူတို့အားလောင် ကျွမ်းစေရန်အလိုရှိတော်မူသလော'' ဟုမေး လျှောက်ကြ၏။
55 And he turned and rebuked them, and said: Ye know not of what spirit ye are.
၅၅ကိုယ်တော်သည်လှည့်၍သူတို့အားဆုံးမတော် မူ၏။-
56 For the Son of man hath not come to destroy souls; but to quicken them. And they went to another village.
၅၆ထိုနောက်ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်တပည့်တော်တို့သည် အခြားရွာတစ်ရွာသို့ထွက်သွားကြ၏။
57 And as they went by the way, one said to him: I will follow thee to whatever place thou goest, my Lord.
၅၇ယင်းသို့ခရီးပြုနေကြစဉ်လူတစ်ယောက် က ``အကျွန်ုပ်သည်အရှင်ကြွတော်မူရာသို့ လိုက်ပါမည်'' ဟုသခင်ယေရှုအားလျှောက် ထား၏။
58 Jesus said to him: The foxes have holes, and the birds of heaven have coverts; but the Son of man hath not where he may lay his head.
၅၈သခင်ယေရှုက ``မြေခွေးမှာတွင်းရှိ၏။ ငှက်မှာ အသိုက်ရှိ၏။ လူသားမှာမူကားခေါင်းချစရာ နေရာမျှမရှိ'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
59 And he said to another: Come thou after me. And he said to him: My Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.
၅၉ကိုယ်တော်သည်အခြားလူတစ်ယောက်အား ``ငါ့ နောက်သို့လိုက်လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ထိုသူက ``အကျွန်ုပ်အဖ၏အလောင်း ကိုဦးစွာသွား၍သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ခွင့်ပေးတော်မူပါ'' ဟု လျှောက်၏။
60 And Jesus said to him: Allow the dead to bury their dead; and go thou and proclaim the kingdom of God.
၆၀ကိုယ်တော်က ``လူသေတို့သည်အချင်းချင်း သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြပါစေ။ သင်မူကားသွား၍ဘုရား သခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော်အကြောင်းဟောပြော လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
61 Another said to him: I will follow thee, my Lord; but allow me first to bid adieu to my household, and I will come.
၆၁အခြားသောသူတစ်ယောက်က ``အရှင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည်နောက်တော်သို့လိုက်ပါမည်။ သို့ရာတွင် အကျွန်ုပ်၏အိမ်သူအိမ်သားများအားဦး စွာသွား၍နှုတ်ဆက်ခွင့်ပြုတော်မူပါ'' ဟု လျှောက်၏။
62 Jesus said to him: No man putting his hand to the ox-plough, and looking backward, is fit for the kingdom of God.
၆၂သခင်ယေရှုက ``ထွန်ကိုင်းကိုကိုင်လျက်နောက် သို့လှည့်ကြည့်သူသည်ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံ တော်အတွက်အသုံးမဝင်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
