Leviticus 3

1 [“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.

Ist aber sein Opfer ein Dankopfer von Rindern, es sei ein Ochse oder Kuh, soll er's opfern vor dem HERRN, das ohne Wandel sei.

2 You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.

Und soll seine Hand auf desselben Haupt legen und schlachten vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts. Und die Priester, Aarons Söhne, sollen das Blut auf den Altar umher sprengen.

3 From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—

Und soll von dem Dankopfer dem HERRN opfern, nämlich alles Fett am Eingeweide

4 the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

und die Nieren mit dem Fett, das dran ist, an den Lenden, und das Netz um die Leber, an den Nieren abgerissen.

5 Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.

Und Aarons Söhne sollen's anzünden auf dem Altar zum Brandopfer, auf dem Holz, das auf dem Feuer liegt. Das ist ein Feuer zum süßen Geruch dem HERRN.

6 If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.

Will er aber dem HERRN ein Dankopfer von kleinem Vieh tun, es sei ein Schöps oder Schaf, so soll's ohne Wandel sein.

7 If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].

Ist's ein Lämmlein soll er's vor den HERRN bringen

8 Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.

und soll seine Hand auf desselben Haupt legen und schlachten vor der Hütte des Stifts. Und die Söhne Aarons sollen sein Blut auf den Altar umher sprengen.

9 You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—

Und soll also von dem Dankopfer dem HERRN opfern zum Feuer, nämlich sein Fett, den ganzen Schwanz, von dem Rücken abgerissen, und alles Fett am Eingeweide,

10 the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

die zwo Nieren mit dem Fett, das dran ist, an den Lenden, und das Netz um die Leber, an den Nieren abgerissen.

11 One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].

Und der Priester soll's anzünden auf dem Altar zur Speise des Feuers dem HERRN.

12 ‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.

Ist aber sein Opfer eine Ziege, und bringet es vor den HERRN,

13 You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.

soll er seine Hand auf ihr Haupt legen und sie schlachten vor der Hütte des Stifts. Und die Söhne Aarons sollen das Blut auf den Altar umher sprengen.

14 From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,

Und soll davon opfern ein Opfer dem HERRN, nämlich das Fett am Eingeweide,

15 the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

die Nieren mit dem Fett, das dran ist, an den Lenden, und das Netz über der Leber, an den Nieren abgerissen.

16 The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.

Und der Priester soll's anzünden auf dem Altar zur Speise des Feuers, zum süßen Geruch. Alles Fett ist des HERRN.

17 ‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”

Das sei eine ewige Sitte bei euren Nachkommen in allen euren Wohnungen, daß ihr kein Fett noch Blut esset.
