Psalms 63
1 God, you are the God whom I [worship]. I greatly desire to be with you like [SIL] a person in a dry hot desert greatly desires [some cool water].
Ó Deus, tu és o meu Deus, de madrugada te buscarei: a minha alma tem sêde de ti; a minha carne te deseja muito em uma terra secca e cançada, onde não ha agua
2 So, I want to see you in your temple; I want to see that you are great and glorious.
Para ver a tua fortaleza e a tua gloria, como te vi no sanctuario.
3 Your constantly loving [me] is (worth more/more precious) than [my] life, so I [MTY] will [always] praise you.
Porque a tua benignidade é melhor do que a vida; os meus labios te louvarão.
4 I will praise you all the time that I live; I will lift up my hands to you while I pray.
Assim eu te bemdirei emquanto viver: em teu nome levantarei as minhas mãos.
5 [Knowing you satisfies me more than] [IDM, MET] my eating a very big feast, [so] I will praise you while I sing [MTY] joyful songs.
A minha alma se fartará, como de tutano e de gordura; e a minha bocca te louvará com alegres labios,
6 While I lie on my bed, I think about you. I think/meditate about you all during the night,
Quando me lembrar de ti na minha cama, e meditar em ti nas vigilias da noite.
7 because you have always helped me, and I sing joyfully knowing that I am protected by you [as a little bird is protected] under [its mother’s] wings [MET].
Porque tu tens sido o meu auxilio; portanto na sombra das tuas azas me regozijarei.
8 I cling to you; and with your hand/power you protect me.
A minha alma te segue de perto: a tua dextra me sustenta.
9 But those who are trying to kill me will [die and] descend into the place of the dead;
Mas aquelles que procuram a minha alma para a destruir, irão para as profundezas da terra.
10 they will be killed in battles [MTY] and their [corpses] will be eaten by jackals/wild dogs.
Cairão á espada, serão uma ração para as raposas.
11 But I, the king [of Israel], will rejoice in what God has done; and all those who revere and trust God will praise him, but he will not allow liars to say anything.
Mas o rei se regozijará em Deus; qualquer que por elle jurar se gloriará; porque se taparão as boccas dos que fallam a mentira.
