1 Samuel 2
1 Hannah prayed and said, “My heart exults in Yahweh. My horn is exalted in Yahweh. My mouth boasts over my enemies, because I rejoice in your salvation.
၁တဖန် ဟန္နသည် ပဌနာစကားကို မြွက်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ ငါ့စိတ်နှလုံးသည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို အမှီပြု၍ ရွှင်လန်းလျက်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကြောင့် ငါ့ဦးချိုမြင့်လျက် ရှိ၏။ ကယ်တင်ခြင်း ကျေးဇူးတော်ကြောင့် ဝမ်းမြောက်၍၊ ရန်သူတို့အား ဝါကြွားသောစကားကို ပြောရ၏။
2 There is no one holy like Yahweh, for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.
၂ထာဝရဘုရား သန့်ရှင်းတော်မူသကဲ့သို့ အဘယ်သူမျှမသန့်ရှင်း။ ကိုယ်တော်မှတပါး အခြားသော ဘုရားမရှိ။
3 Boast no more so very proudly; let no arrogance come out of your mouth. For Yahweh is a God of knowledge; by him actions are weighed.
၃ငါတို့ ဘုရားသခင်ကဲ့သို့သော ခိုလှုံစရာမရှိ။ ကိုယ့်ကိုကိုယ် မချီးမြှောက်ကြနှင့်။ ဝါကြွားစော်ကားသော စကားကိုမပြောကြနှင့်။ အဓမ္မစကားကို နှုတ်ထဲက မထွက်စေကြနှင့်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သဗ္ဗညုတဘုရား ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ အမှုအရာတို့ကို ညှိညွှတ်တော်မူ၏။
4 The bow of the mighty men are broken, but those who stumble put on strength like a belt.
၄သူရဲတို့ ကိုင်သောလေးများ ကျိုးလျက်၊ လဲတတ်သော သူတို့သည် ခွန်အားနှင့် ပြည့်စုံလျက် ရှိကြ၏။
5 Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread; those who were hungry have stopped being hungry. Even the barren one gives birth to seven, but the woman who has many children languishes.
၅ဝစွာစားသောသူတို့သည် စားစရာကို ရခြင်းငှါ၊ သူငှါး လုပ်ကြရပြီ။ ငတ်မွတ်သော သူတို့မူကား၊ တဖန် ဝကြပြီ။ မြုံသောသူသည် ခုနှစ်ကြိမ်တိုင်အောင် ဘွားမြင်ပြီ။ သားများသောသူမူကား၊ တဖန် အားလျော့ပြီ။
၆ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သေစေသော အခွင့်၊ အသက်ရှင်စေသောအခွင့်၊ မရဏာနိုင်ငံသို့ နှိမ့်ချသောအခွင့်၊ ထမြောက်စေသောအခွင့် ရှိတော်မူ၏။ (Sheol h7585)
7 Yahweh makes some people poor and some rich. He humbles, but he also lifts up.
၇ဆင်းရဲစေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ရတတ်စေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားပြု၍၊ နှိမ့်ချသောအခွင့်၊ ချီးမြှောက်သော အခွင့်ရှိတော်မူ၏။
8 He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit the seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are Yahweh's and he has set the world upon them.
၈ဆင်းရဲသောသူကို မြေမှုန့်ထဲက၎င်း၊ ငတ်မွတ်သောသူကို နောက်ချေးပုံထဲက၎င်း ချီးမြှောက်၍၊ မင်းသားတို့နှင့် ထိုင်ရသောအခွင့်၊ ဘုန်းကြီးသောပလ္လင်ကို အမွေခံရသောအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မူ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ မြေကြီးတိုင်တို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရားပိုင်၍ ထိုတိုင်တို့အပေါ်မှာ လောကဓာတ်ကို တည်တော်မူပြီ။
9 He will guard the feet of his faithful people, but the wicked will be put to silence in darkness, for no one will prevail by strength.
၉မိမိသန့်ရှင်းသူတို့ခြေကို စောင့်မတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ မတရားသောသူတို့သည် မှောင်မိုက်၌ တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာ နေရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကိုယ်အစွမ်းသတ္တိအားဖြင့် အဘယ်သူမျှ မနိုင်ရာ။
10 Those who oppose Yahweh will be broken to pieces; he will thunder against them from heaven. Yahweh will judge the ends of the earth; he will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.”
၁၀ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ရန်သူတို့ကို ချိုးဖဲ့တော်မူမည်။ သူတို့အပေါ်၌ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်မှ မိုဃ်းချုန်း စေတော်မူမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မြေကြီးစွန်းတိုင်အောင် တရားစီရင်သဖြင့်၊ ခန့်ထားတော်မူသော ရှင်ဘုရင်ကို ခွန်အားနှင့် ပြည့်စုံစေ၍ အထံတော်၌ ဘိသိက်ခံသောသူကို ချီးမြှောက်တော်မူမည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။
11 Then Elkanah went to Ramah, to his house. The child served Yahweh in the presence of Eli the priest.
၁၁ထိုနောက်မှ၊ ဧလကာနသည် ရာမမြို့၌ရှိသော မိမိအိမ်သို့သွား၍၊ သူငယ်သည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဧလိရှေ့တွင် အမှုတော်ကို ဆောင်ရွက်လေ၏။
12 Now the sons of Eli were worthless men. They did not know Yahweh.
၁၂ဧလိ၏သားတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို မသိ၊ အဓမ္မလူဖြစ်ကြ၏။
13 The custom of the priests with the people was that when any man offered a sacrifice, the priest's servant would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand, while the meat was boiling.
၁၃လူများတို့တွင် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ပြုသော ထုံးစံဟူမူကား၊ ယဇ်ပူဇော်၍ အမဲသားကို ပြုတ်စဉ်အခါ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်၏ အစေအပါတယောက်သည်လာ၍ သုံးချောင်းရှိသော အမဲချိတ်ကို ကိုင်လျက်၊-
14 He would stick it into the pan, or kettle, or cauldron, or pot. All that the fork brought up the priest would take for himself. They did this in Shiloh with all the Israelites that came there.
၁၄အိုးအစရှိသည်တို့၌ ထိုးခပ်၍၊ အမဲချိတ်တွင် ပါသမျှကို ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်သည် သိမ်းယူတတ်၏။ ရှီလောမြို့သို့ ရောက်လာသော ဣသရေလလူအပေါင်းတို့အား ထိုသို့ပြုကြ၏။
15 Worse, before they burned the fat, the priest's servant came, and said to the man who was sacrificing, “Give meat to roast for the priest; for he will not accept boiled meat from you, but only raw.”
၁၅ဆီဥကို မီးမရှို့မှီ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်၏ အစေအပါသည်လာ၍၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဘို့ ကင်စရာအမဲသား ကို ပေးပါ။ ပြုတ်သော အမဲသားကို မယူ။ စိမ်းသော အမဲသားကိုသာ ယူမည်ဟု ယဇ်ပူဇော်သော သူအား ဆိုတတ်၏။
16 If the man said to him, “They must burn the fat first, and then take as much as you want.” Then he would say, “No, you will give it me now; if not, I will take it by force.”
၁၆ထိုသူက၊ ဆီဥကိုအရင် မီးရှို့ပါရစေ။ နောက်မှ ယူချင်တိုင်းယူပါဟုဆိုလျှင်၊ မဟုတ်ဘူး ယခုပေးရမည်။ သို့မဟုတ် အနိုင်ယူမည်ဟု ပြောဆိုတတ်၏။
17 The sin of these young men was very great before Yahweh, for they despised Yahweh's offering.
၁၇ထိုယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ပျိုတို့သည်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားဝတ်ကို လူများ ရွံစရာပြုသောကြောင့်၊ ရှေ့တော်၌ အလွန်အပြစ်ကြီးသောသူ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
18 But Samuel served Yahweh as a child clothed with a linen ephod.
၁၈သူငယ် ရှမွေလသည် ပိတ်သင်တိုင်းကို ဝတ်စည်းလျက်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့၌ အမှုတော်ကို ဆောင်ရွက် လေ၏။ -
19 His mother would make him a little robe and bring it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.
၁၉နှစ်စဉ်ပြုရသော ယဇ်ကို ပူဇော်ခြင်းငှါ၊ သူ၏ မိဘသည် ရောက်လာသောအခါ၊ အမိသည် တနှစ် မပြတ်သားအဘို့ အင်္ကျီငယ်ကို ချုပ်၍ ဆောင်ခဲ့တတ်၏။
20 Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife and say, “May Yahweh give you more children by this woman because of the request she made of Yahweh.” Then they would return to their own home.
၂၀တရံရောအခါ၊ ဧလိက၊ သင်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၌ ငှါးထားသော သားအတွက်၊ ဤမိန်းမတွင် အမျိုး အနွှယ်ကို ပေးတော်မူပါစေသောဟု ဧလကာနလင်မယားကို ကောင်းကြီးပေး၏။ ထိုသူတို့သည် နေရာ အိမ်သို့ ပြန်သွားသောနောက်၊
21 Yahweh again helped Hannah, and again she became pregnant. She bore three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the child Samuel grew before Yahweh.
၂၁ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဟန္နကို အကြည့်အရှုကြွတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ သူသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူ၍၊ သားသုံးယောက်၊ သမီးနှစ်ယောက်တို့ကို ဘွားမြင်လေ၏။ သူငယ်ရှမွေလသည် ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ ကြီးပွား သတည်း။
22 Now Eli was very old; he heard all that his sons were doing to all Israel, and how they slept with the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
၂၂ဧလိသည် အသက်အရွယ်လွန်သောအခါ၊ သူ၏သားတို့သည် ဣသရေလလူအပေါင်းတို့၌ ပြုသမျှ ကို၎င်း၊ ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေးရာ တဲတော်တံခါးနားမှာ စည်းဝေးသောမိန်းမနှင့် မှားယွင်းကြောင်းကို ၎င်း ကြားသိလျှင်၊
23 He said to them, “Why do you such things? For I hear of your evil actions from all these people.”
၂၃သင်တို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤသို့ပြုကြသနည်း။ သင်တို့ပြုသော ဒုစရိုက်တို့ကို လူအပေါင်းတို့ သည် ပြော၍ ငါကြားရ၏။
24 No, my sons; for it is not a good report that I hear. You make Yahweh's people disobey.
၂၄မကောင်းဘူးငါ့သားတို့။ ငါကြားသော သိတင်းသည် ကောင်းသော သိတင်းမဟုတ်။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ လူတို့သည် ပြစ်မှားရမည်အကြောင်း၊ သင်တို့ပြုကြသည် တကား။
25 “If one man sins against another, God will judge him; but if a man sins against Yahweh, who will speak for him?” But they would not listen to the voice of their father, because Yahweh intended to kill them.
၂၅လူချင်းတယောက်ကို တယောက်ပြစ်မှားလျှင်၊ တရားသူကြီး စစ်ကြောစီရင်ရ၏။ လူသည် ထာဝရ ဘုရားကို ပြစ်မှားလျှင်၊ သူ့အတွက် အဘယ်သူ တောင်းပန်လိမ့်မည်နည်းဟု ဆုံးမသော်လည်း၊ သူ တို့သည် အဘ၏ စကားကို နားမထောင်ကြ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကွပ်မျက်ခြင်း ငှါ အလိုရှိတော်မူ၏။
26 The child Samuel grew up, and increased in favor with Yahweh and also with men.
၂၆သူငယ်ရှမွေလသည် ကြီးပွား၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့၊ လူတို့ရှေ့၌ မျက်နှာရလေ၏။
27 Now a man of God came to Eli and said to him, “Yahweh says, 'Did I not reveal myself to the house of your ancestor, when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh's house?
၂၇ဘုရားသခင်၏ လူတယောက်သည် ဧလိထံသို့လာ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်၊ ဖာရောဘုရင်ထံ၌နေရသော သင့်အဘ၏ အမျိုးအား ငါ ထင်ရှားသည် မဟုတ်လော။ -
28 I chose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to go up to my altar, and to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me. I gave to the house of your ancestor all the offerings of the people of Israel made with fire.
၂၈ငါ၏ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ပေါ်မှာ ပူဇော်ခြင်း၊ နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့ခြင်း၊ ငါ့ရှေ့မှာ သင်တိုင်းကို ဝတ်ခြင်း အမှုကို စောင့်ရသော ငါ၏ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ သူ့ကို ဣသရေလအမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့ အထဲက ငါရွေးကောက်သည် မဟုတ်လော။ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် မီးဖြင့်ပြုသော ပူဇော်သက္ကာ ရှိသမျှတို့ကို၊ သင့်အဘ၏ အမျိုးအား ငါပေးသည်မဟုတ်လော။-
29 Why, then, do you scorn my sacrifices and offerings that I required in the place where I live? Why do you honor your sons above me by making yourselves fat with the best of every offering of my people Israel?'
၂၉ငါ့အိမ်၌ ငါစီရင်သောယဇ်၊ ငါ့ပူဇော်သက္ကာကို အဘယ်ကြောင့် ခြေနှင့်ကန်သနည်း။ ငါ၏လူ ဣ သရေလအမျိုးသား တင်လှူသော ပူဇော်သက္ကာရှိသမျှတို့တွင်၊ အမြတ်ဆုံးသော အရာကို ဝစွာစား စေ၍၊ သင်၏သားတို့ကို ငါ့အပေါ်မှာ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ချီးမြှောက်သနည်း။
30 For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, 'I promised that your house, and the house of your ancestor, should walk before me forever.' But now Yahweh says, 'Far be it from me to do this, for I will honor those who honor me, but those who despise me will be lightly esteemed.
၃၀ထိုသို့ပြုသောကြောင့်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင့် အမျိုး၊ သင့်အဘ၏အမျိုးသည် ငါ့ရှေ့မှာအစဉ် သွားလာရလိမ့်မည်ဟု ငါဆိုမိသော်လည်း၊ တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ထိုဂတိသည် ငါနှင့်ဝေးပါစေ။ ငါ့ကို ချီးမြှောက်သော သူတို့ ကို ငါချီးမြှောက်မည်။ ငါ့ကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသော သူတို့သည် ဂုဏ်သရေ ပျက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။-
31 See, the days are coming when I will cut off your strength and the strength of your father's house, so that there will no longer be any old man in your house.
၃၁သင်၏ အမျိုးတွင် အိုသောသူတယောက်မျှ မရှိစေခြင်းငှါ၊ သင်၏ လက်ရုံးနှင့် သင့်အဆွေအမျိုး ၏ လက်ရုံးကို ငါဖြတ်သော အချိန်ကာလရောက်လိမ့်မည်။-
32 You will see distress in the place where I live. Although good will be given to Israel, there will no longer be any old man in your house.
၃၂ဣသရေလအမျိုးအား ငါပေးသော စည်းစိမ်ရှိရာ အိမ်ပေါ်မှာ ဘေးဥပဒ်ရောက်ကြောင်းကို သင် မြင်ရလိမ့်မည်။ သင်၏ အမျိုးတွင် အိုသောသူတယောက်မျှ အစဉ်မရှိရ။-
33 Any one of you that I do not cut off from my altar, I will cause your eyes to fail, and I will cause grief for your life. All the men born in your family will die.
၃၃ငါ၏ယဇ်ပလ္လင်မှ ငါမပယ်မဖြတ်သော သင်၏အမျိုးသားသည်၊ သင့်မျက်စိပျက်၍ စိတ်ကြင်နာဘို့ ရာဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ သင်၏ သားစဉ်မြေးဆက်တို့သည် အသက်ပျိုစဉ်ပင် သေရကြလိမ့်မည်။-
34 This will be the sign for you that will come on your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: They will both die on the same day.
၃၄သင်၏သား ဟောဖနိနှင့် ဖိနဟတ်နှစ်ယောက်တို့၌ ဖြစ်စေ၍၊ သင့်အား ငါပေးသော ပုပ္ပနိမိတ် ဟူမူကား၊ ထိုသူနှစ်ယောက်တို့သည် တနေ့ခြင်းတွင် သေလိမ့်မည်။ -
35 I will raise up for myself a faithful priest who will do what is in my heart and in my soul. I will build him a sure house; and he will walk before my anointed king forever.
၃၅တဖန် ငါ့စိတ်နှလုံးအလိုသို့ လိုက်၍ သစ္စာစောင့်သော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ကို ငါပေါ်ထွန်းစေမည်။ မြဲသောအိမ်ကို သူ့အဘို့ ငါဆောက်ပေးသဖြင့်၊ သူသည် ငါ့ထံ၌ ဘိသိက်ခံသောသူရှေ့မှာ အစဉ် သွားလာရလိမ့်မည်။
36 Everyone who is left in your house will come and bow down to him, asking for a piece of silver and a loaf of bread, and will say, “Please assign me to one of the priests' positions so I can eat a piece of bread.”'”
၃၆သင်၏ အမျိုး၌ ကျန်ကြွင်းသော သူတိုင်းသူ့ထံသို့လာ၍၊ ကျွန်တော်သည် မုန့်အနည်းငယ်ကို စားရ မည်အကြောင်း၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အရာနှင့်ဆိုင်သော အမှုတစုံတခု၌ ကျွန်တော်ကို စေခိုင်းပါလော့ ဟု ငွေစ၊ မုန့်စကို ရလိုသောငှါ၊ ရှိခိုးလျက် တောင်းပန်လိမ့်မည်ဟု အမိန့်တော်ကို ပြန်လေ၏။
