Jonah 2
1 Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,
၁ထိုနောက်ယောနသည်ငါးကြီး၏ဝမ်းဗိုက် တွင်းမှနေ၍ မိမိ၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားအား၊
2 And said, I cried by reason of my affliction to the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. (Sheol h7585)
၂``အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ဘေးနှင့်ကြုံတွေ့နေရသည့်အတွက် ကိုယ်တော်အားဟစ်ခေါ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ကိုယ်တော်ကလည်းကြားတော်မူပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်သည်သေမင်း၏ခံတွင်းမှနေ၍ ကိုယ်တော်အားဟစ်အော်သံကိုကိုယ်တော် ကြားတော်မူပါ၏။ (Sheol h7585)
3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods surrounded me: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
၃ကိုယ်တော်သည်အကျွန်ုပ်အားနက်ရှိုင်းသော ပင်လယ်ထဲသို့လည်းကောင်း၊ ပင်လယ်အောက်ဆုံးပိုင်းတိုင်အောင်လည်းကောင်း ပစ်ချလိုက်သဖြင့်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်မှာပင်လယ်ရေပတ်လည် ဝိုင်းရံခြင်းကိုခံလျက် ကိုယ်တော်၏လှိုင်းလုံးကြီးများသည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုလွှမ်းမိုးသွားပါသည်။
4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
၄အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ကိုယ်တော်၏မျက်မှောက်မှ နှင်ထုတ်ခြင်းကိုခံရသဖြင့်၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏သန့်ရှင်းမြင့်မြတ်သောဗိမာန် တော်ကို အဘယ်အခါ၌မျှတွေ့မြင်ရတော့မည် မဟုတ်ဟုထင်မှတ်ခဲ့ပါ၏။
5 The waters surrounded me, even to the soul: the depth inclosed me on every side, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
၅ရေသည်အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုဝိုင်းရံသဖြင့်အကျွန်ုပ် သည် အသက်ရှူ၍ပင်မရတော့ပါ။ ပင်လယ်ရေသည်အကျွန်ုပ်အားလွှမ်းမိုးလျက်၊ ပင်လယ်ဒိုက်ပင်တို့သည်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ်၏ဦးခေါင်းကိုရစ်ပတ်ကြပါ၏။
6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
၆အကျွန်ုပ်သည်တောင်များ၏အောက်ခြေသို့ တိုင်အောင်လည်းကောင်း၊ ပြန်လမ်းမရှိသည့်မရဏာနိုင်ငံသို့ လည်းကောင်း နစ်မြုပ်သွားပါသည်။ သို့ဖြစ်လျက်ပင်အကျွန်ုပ်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည်အကျွန်ုပ်၏အသက်ကို နက်ရာမှ ကယ်ဆယ်တော်မူခဲ့ပါ၏။
7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came to thee, into thy holy temple.
၇အကျွန်ုပ်သည်သေအံ့ဆဲဆဲအချိန်တွင် အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ထံတော်သို့ဆုတောင်းခဲ့ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်လည်းကိုယ်တော်၏ သန့်ရှင်းမြင့်မြတ်သောဗိမာန်တော်မှ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာသံကိုကြားတော်မူပါ၏။
8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
၈အချည်းနှီးဖြစ်သောရုပ်တုများကို ကိုးကွယ်သူတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်၏အပေါ်တွင် သစ္စာမဲ့ကြပါ၏။
9 But I will sacrifice to thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
၉သို့ရာတွင်အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်အရှင်၏ ဂုဏ်တော်ကိုချီးကူးပါမည်။ ကိုယ်တော်အားယဇ်ပူဇော်ပါမည်။ ထို့ပြင်အကျွန်ုပ်ပြုခဲ့သည့်သစ္စာကတိ အတိုင်း လိုက်နာပါမည်။ အကြောင်းမှာကယ်တင်ခြင်းအမှုသည် ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်မှလာပါသည်'' ဟု ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုလေ၏။
10 And the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
၁၀ထိုအခါထာဝရဘုရားသည်ငါးကြီး အားအမိန့်ပေးသဖြင့် ငါးကြီးသည်ယောန အားကုန်းပေါ်သို့အန်ထုတ်လေ၏။
