< Psalms 19 >

1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork.
Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah, David ih saam laa. Vannnawk mah Sithaw lensawkhaih to taphong o, long ranui ih van mah a toksakhaih to amtuengsak.
2 Day after day they pour out speech, and night after night they display knowledge.
Nito pacoeng nito lokthuih o moe, qumto pacoeng qumto palunghahaih to amtueng o sak.
3 There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.
Lokthuihaih hoi lokpaehhaih to om ai; kawbaktih ahmuen ah doeh nihcae ih lok thaih han om ai.
4 Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
Toe nihcae ih lok loe longpum ah phak, a loknawk loe long boenghaih khoek to amthang boeh. Van ah ni ohhaih kahni im to a sak pae,
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his room, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
ni loe impui thung hoi tacawt zu la thendoeng baktiah oh, angnoekhaih ahmuen ah anghoehaih hoi kacawn thacak kami hoiah anghmong.
6 His going out is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends. There is nothing hidden from its heat.
Anih loe van boenghaih hoiah tacawt moe, van boenghaih khoek to takui: ni aengh mah phak han ai ah kanghawk hmuen tidoeh om ai.
7 The LORD’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.
Angraeng ih kaalok loe acung moe, muithla to amkhraisak: Angraeng mah thuih ih lok loe oepthoh moe, palungha ai kaminawk to palunghasak.
8 The LORD’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Angraeng thuitaekhaih loknawk loe toeng moe, palungthin to anghoesak; Angraeng ih kaaloknawk loe ciim moe, mik to amtuengsak.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD’s ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.
Angraeng zithaih loe ciim moe, dungzan khoek to cak poe: Angraeng lok takroekhaih loe amsoem moe, toeng boih.
10 They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
Sui pongah atho nat, ue, kaciim suitui pongah doeh koeh han oh kue: khoitui pongah luep moe, khoi lutui pongah doeh luep kue.
11 Moreover your servant is warned by them. In keeping them there is great reward.
To baktih hmuennawk hoiah na tamnanawk to acoehaih na paek, daan pazuihaih loe paroeai kalen tangqum to oh.
12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.
Mi maw a sakpazaehaih panoek thaih? Kamtueng ai sakpazaehaih thung hoiah kai na ciimsak ah.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.
Na tamna mah zaehaih sak parui poe han ai ah na pakaa ah; to zaehaihnawk mah kai na uk hmah nasoe: to tiah ni katoeng ah ka om ueloe, kalen parai zaehaih thung hoiah ka loih tih.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, LORD, my rock, and my redeemer.
Aw Angraeng, ka thacakhaih hoi kai akrangkung, ka pakha thung ih loknawk hoi palung thungah ka poek ih hmuennawk loe, na hmaa ah talawk han koi ah om nasoe.
