2 Peter 2
1 But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.
முற்காலத்தில் பொய்த் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் மக்கள் மத்தியிலே இருந்தார்கள். அதுபோலவே, பொய் வேத ஆசிரியர்கள் உங்கள் மத்தியிலே இருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் அழிவை ஏற்படுத்தும் பொய்யான போதனைகளை இரகசியமாய் புகுத்துவார்கள். தங்களை விலைகொடுத்து மீட்ட எல்லாம் வல்ல கர்த்தரையும் அவர்கள் மறுதலிப்பார்கள். இவ்விதமாக அழிவைத் தங்கள்மேல் விரைவாய் வருவித்துக்கொள்வார்கள்.
2 Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.
பலர் அவர்களுடைய வெட்கக்கேடான வழிகளைப் பின்பற்றுவதினால் சத்திய வழிக்குக்கூட அவமானம் ஏற்படும்.
3 In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber.
இந்த வேத ஆசிரியர் தங்களுடைய பேராசையில் தாங்களே இயற்றிய கட்டுக்கதைகளைச் சொல்லி, உங்களைச் சுரண்டி வாழப்பார்ப்பார்கள். அவர்களுக்குரிய தண்டனைத்தீர்ப்பு அவர்கள்மேல் விழ, இறைவனால் வெகுகாலத்திற்கு முன்னரே ஆயத்தமாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அவர்கள்மேல் வரவிருக்கும் அழிவு உறங்காது.
4 For if God didn’t spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to pits of darkness to be reserved for judgment; (Tartaroō g5020)
இறைத்தூதர்கள் பாவம் செய்தபோது, இறைவன் அவர்களைத் தப்பிப்போக விடவில்லை. அவர் அவர்களை நரகத்திற்குள் தள்ளி, அவர்களுக்குரிய நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக் கொடுக்கும்வரைக்கும், அவர்களைப் பாதாளத்தின் இருளிலே போட்டார்; (Tartaroō g5020)
5 and didn’t spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood on the world of the ungodly,
முற்காலத்தில் இருந்த உலகத்தையும் இறைவன் தப்பிப்போக விடவில்லை. அதில் வாழ்ந்த இறை பக்தியற்ற மக்களின்மேல் வெள்ளத்தை வரச்செய்தார். ஆனால் நீதியைப் பிரசங்கித்த நோவாவையும் ஏழு பேர்களையும் அவர் காப்பாற்றினார்;
6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, having made them an example to those who would live in an ungodly way,
இறைவன் சோதோம், கொமோரா பட்டணங்களுக்குத் தண்டனைத்தீர்ப்பு வழங்கி, அவற்றைச் சுட்டெரித்து சாம்பலாக்கினார். இறை பக்தியற்றவர்களுக்கு, இதுவே நிகழும் என்று காண்பிப்பதற்காக, அந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் ஒரு எடுத்துக்காட்டாக இருக்கும்படி இப்படிச் செய்தார்.
7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wicked
ஆனால் இறைவன் நீதிமானாயிருந்த லோத்தைக் காப்பாற்றினார். அவனோ, அநியாயக்காரர்களின் அசுத்த வாழ்க்கையினாலே மனம் புண்பட்டவனாய் இருந்தான்.
8 (for that righteous man dwelling among them was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing lawless deeds),
அந்த நீதிமான் அவர்களிடையே வாழ்ந்தபோது, நாளுக்குநாள் தான் கண்டதும் கேட்டதுமான அநியாயச் செயல்களினாலே, தன் நீதியான உள்ளத்தில் வேதனையடைந்தான்.
9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,
அது அப்படியானால், இறை பக்தியுள்ள மனிதரை சோதனைகளிலிருந்து எப்படிக் காப்பாற்றுவது என்றும், அநியாயக்காரர்களை எப்படி நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின் நாள்வரைக்கும் தண்டனைக்கு உட்படுத்தும்படி வைத்துக்கொள்ளுவது என்றும், கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்.
10 but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,
விசேஷமாக பாவ இயல்பிலிருந்து எழும் தங்களுடைய சீர்கெட்ட ஆசையின்படி நடந்து, அதிகாரத்தை அலட்சியம் செய்கிறவர்களுக்கு இந்த தண்டனை உண்டாகும். இப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் துணிகரமும் அகந்தையும் உள்ளவர்கள். இவர்கள் பரலோகத்தில் உள்ளவர்களை அவதூறாய் பேசவும் பயப்படுவதில்லை.
11 whereas angels, though greater in might and power, don’t bring a slanderous judgment against them before the Lord.
ஆனால், இவர்களைவிட வலிமை வாய்ந்தவர்களும், அதிக வல்லமையுடையவர்களுமான இறைவனுடைய தூதர்கள்கூட பரலோகத்தில் உள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிராகக் கர்த்தர் முன்னிலையில் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக் கொண்டுவருவதில்லை.
12 But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,
ஆனால் இவர்களோ, தாங்கள் விளங்கிக்கொள்ளாத விஷயங்களில் அவதூறாகப் பேசுகிறார்கள். இவர்கள் மனிதத் தன்மையற்ற மிருகங்களைப் போன்றவர்கள். தங்கள் இயல்பின்படியே நடக்கின்ற உயிரினங்களைப் போன்றவர்கள். இவர்கள் பிடிக்கப்பட்டு அழிக்கப்படுவதற்கென்றே பிறந்திருக்கின்ற மிருகங்களைப்போலவே இவர்களும் அழிந்துபோவார்கள்.
13 receiving the wages of unrighteousness; people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and defects, reveling in their deceit while they feast with you;
தாங்கள் செய்த தீமைக்குப் பதிலாக, தீமையையே பெறுவார்கள். பகல் வேளையிலேயே மதுபான வெறியில் ஈடுபடுவதை இன்பம் என்று அவர்கள் எண்ணுகிறார்கள். இவர்கள் உங்களுடைய விருந்துகளில் கலந்துகொள்கிற அதேவேளையில், தங்கள் சிற்றின்பக் களியாட்டுக்களில் ஈடுபடுகிறார்கள். இவர்கள் உங்கள் மத்தியில் அசிங்கமும், கறையுமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.
14 having eyes full of adultery, and who can’t cease from sin, enticing unsettled souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children!
இவர்களுடைய கண்கள் விபசாரத்தால் நிறைந்திருக்கின்றன. பாவம் செய்வதை இவர்கள் ஒருபோதும் நிறுத்துவதில்லை; உறுதியற்றவர்களை இவர்கள் தங்கள் வசப்படுத்திக்கொள்கிறார்கள்; இவர்கள் இருதயம் பேராசையில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றது, இவர்கள் சபிக்கப்பட்ட கூட்டமே.
15 Forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing;
இவர்கள் நேர்வழியை விட்டு விலகி, அநீதியை செய்து கூலியைப் பெற ஆசைப்பட்டவனான பேயோரின் மகன் பிலேயாமின் வழியைப் பின்பற்றும்படி போய்விட்டார்கள்.
16 but he was rebuked for his own disobedience. A speechless donkey spoke with a man’s voice and stopped the madness of the prophet.
ஆனால் பிலேயாமோ ஒரு கழுதையினாலே அவனுடைய தவறான செயலைக்குறித்து கடிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டான். வாய்ப்பேசாத அந்த மிருகம் மனிதக் குரலில் பேசி, அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசியின் மதிகேடான செயலைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்தியது.
17 These are wells without water, clouds driven by a storm, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever. (questioned)
இவர்கள் தண்ணீர் இல்லாத ஊற்றுக்கள்; புயல்காற்றினால் அடித்துச் செல்லப்படும் பனிமூட்டங்கள். காரிருளே இவர்களுக்கென்று நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. (questioned)
18 For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;
இவர்கள் வீண் பெருமைகொண்ட வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசுகிறார்கள். இவர்கள் மனிதனுடைய பாவ இயல்பிலிருந்து காமவேட்கையுள்ள ஆசைகளைத் தூண்டும் விதத்தில் பேசி, தவறான வழியில் வாழுகிறவர்களிடமிருந்து தப்பித்துக்கொள்ள முயலும் மக்களைத் தங்கள் வசப்படுத்திக்கொள்கிறார்கள்.
19 promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.
இவர்கள் மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஒரு சுதந்திரமான வாழ்க்கையை வாக்குப்பண்ணுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்களோ, தாங்களே சீர்கெட்ட வாழ்க்கைக்கு அடிமைகளாய் இருக்கிறார்கள். ஏனெனில் எதனால் ஒருவன் மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகிறானோ, அவன் அதற்கு அடிமையாக இருக்கிறான்.
20 For if, after they have escaped the defilement of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
நம்முடைய கர்த்தரும் இரட்சகருமாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொண்டதன் மூலமாக, இவர்கள் உலகத்தின் சீர்கேட்டுக்குத் தப்பித்திருந்தும், மீண்டும் அதே சீர்கேட்டில் அகப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அப்படி அவர்கள் அதனால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டால், ஆரம்பத்தில் அவர்கள் இருந்த நிலைமையைவிட, முடிவில் அவர்கள் இருக்கும் நிலைமை மிக மோசமானது.
21 For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
இவர்கள் நீதி வாழ்வின் வழியை அறியாதிருந்திருந்தால், அது இவர்களுக்கு அதிக நலமாயிருந்திருக்கும். ஏனெனில், இவர்கள் நீதி வாழ்வின் வழியை அறிந்த பின்பும், தங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட பரிசுத்த கட்டளைகளைவிட்டுத் திரும்பிப் போனார்களே.
22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, “The dog turns to his own vomit again,” and “the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire.”
“நாய் தான் கக்கினதை மீண்டும் தேடிப்போகிறது,” மற்றும், “கழுவப்பட்ட ஒரு பன்றி, மீண்டும் சேற்றில் புரளும்படி போகிறது,” என்ற பழமொழிகள் இவர்களுக்குப் பொருந்தும்.
