Exodus 6

1 Yahweh said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.”

Y Jehová respondió a Moisés: Ahora verás lo que yo haré a Faraón: porque con mano fuerte los ha de dejar ir, y con mano fuerte los ha de echar de su tierra.

2 God spoke to Moses, and said to him, “I am Yahweh.

Y habló Dios a Moisés, y díjole: Yo soy Jehová;

3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Yahweh I was not known to them.

Y yo aparecí a Abraham, a Isaac, y a Jacob en Dios Omnipotente, mas en mi nombre Jehová no me notifiqué a ellos.

4 I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens.

Y también establecí mi concierto con ellos que les daría la tierra de Canaán; la tierra de sus peregrinaciones, y en la cual fueron extranjeros.

5 Moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.

Y así mismo yo he oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel; que los Egipcios les hacen servir; y heme acordado de mi concierto.

6 Therefore tell the children of Israel, ‘I am Yahweh, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments.

Por tanto dirás a los hijos de Israel: Yo soy Jehová: Y yo os sacaré de debajo de las cargas de Egipto, y os libraré de su servidumbre, y os redimiré con brazo extendido, y con juicios grandes.

7 I will take you to myself for a people. I will be your God; and you shall know that I am Yahweh your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

Y yo os tomaré por mi pueblo, y seré vuestro Dios: y sabréis que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios, que os saco de debajo de las cargas de Egipto.

8 I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Yahweh.’”

Y yo os meteré en la tierra, por la cual alcé mi mano, que la daría a Abraham, a Isaac, y a Jacob, y yo os la daré por heredad. Yo Jehová.

9 Moses spoke so to the children of Israel, but they didn’t listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

De esta manera habló Moisés a los hijos de Israel: mas ellos no escuchaban a Moisés a causa de la congoja de espíritu, y de la dura servidumbre.

10 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

11 “Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.”

Entra, y habla a Faraón rey de Egipto, que deje ir de su tierra a los hijos de Israel.

12 Moses spoke before Yahweh, saying, “Behold, the children of Israel haven’t listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, when I have uncircumcised lips?”

Y respondió Moisés delante de Jehová, diciendo: He aquí, los hijos de Israel, no me escuchan; ¿cómo pues, me escuchará Faraón, mayormente siendo yo incircunciso de labios?

13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a command to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

Entonces Jehová habló a Moisés y a Aarón, y dióles mandamiento para los hijos de Israel, y para Faraón rey de Egipto, para que sacasen a los hijos de Israel, de la tierra de Egipto.

14 These are the heads of their fathers’ houses. The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.

Estas son las cabezas de las familias de sus padres: Los hijos de Rubén, el primogénito de Israel; Jenoc, y Fallu, Jesrón, y Carmi: estas son las familias de Rubén.

15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.

Los hijos de Simeón; Jamuel, y Jamín, y Ahod, y Jaquín, y Soher, y Saul, hijo de una mujer Cananea: estas son las familias de Simeón.

16 These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi were one hundred thirty-seven years.

Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví por sus linajes; Gersón, y Caat, y Merari. Y los años de la vida de Leví fueron ciento y treinta y siete años.

17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.

Y los hijos de Gersón fueron Lebna, y Semeí, por sus familias.

18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.

Y los hijos de Caat fueron Amram, e Isaar, y Hebrón, y Oziel. Y los años de la vida de Caat fueron ciento y treinta y tres años.

19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations.

Y los hijos de Merari fueron Moholi, y Musi. Estas son las familias de Leví por sus linajes.

20 Amram took Jochebed his father’s sister to himself as wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. The years of the life of Amram were one hundred thirty-seven years.

Y Amram se tomó por mujer a Jocabed su tía; la cual le parió a Aarón, y a Moisés. Y los años de la vida de Amram fueron ciento y treinta y siete años.

21 The sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

Y los hijos de Isaar fueron Coré, y Nefeg, y Zecri.

22 The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri.

Y los hijos de Oziel; Misael y Elisafán, y Setri.

23 Aaron took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, as his wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

Y Aarón se tomó por mujer a Elisabet, hija de Aminadab, hermana de Naasón, la cual le parió a Nadab, y a Abiú, y a Eleazar, y a Itamar.

24 The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.

Y los hijos de Coré fueron Aser, y Elcana, y Abiasaf. Estas son las familias de los Coritas.

25 Eleazar Aaron’s son took one of the daughters of Putiel as his wife; and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites according to their families.

Y Eleazar, hijo de Aarón, se tomó mujer de las hijas de Futiel, la cual le parió a Finees: y estas son las cabezas de los padres de los Levitas por sus familias.

26 These are that Aaron and Moses to whom Yahweh said, “Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.”

Este es Aarón y Moisés, a los cuales Jehová dijo: Sacád a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto por escuadrones.

27 These are those who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. These are that Moses and Aaron.

Estos son los que hablaron a Faraón rey de Egipto, para sacar de Egipto a los hijos de Israel. Este era Moisés y Aarón.

28 On the day when Yahweh spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,

Cuando Jehová habló a Moisés en la tierra de Egipto.

29 Yahweh said to Moses, “I am Yahweh. Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I tell you.”

Entonces Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo: Yo soy Jehová: di a Faraón rey de Egipto todas las cosas, que yo te digo a ti.

30 Moses said before Yahweh, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh listen to me?”

Y Moisés respondió delante de Jehová: He aquí, yo soy incircunciso de labios: ¿cómo pues me ha de oír Faraón?
