Yochanan 19
1 So Pilate then took Yeshua and flogged him.
Tedy vzal Pilát Ježíše, a zbičoval.
2 The soldiers twisted thorns into a crown and put it on his head, and dressed him in a purple garment.
A žoldnéři zpletše korunu z trní, vstavili na hlavu jeho, a pláštěm šarlatovým přioděli jej.
3 They kept saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and they kept slapping him.
A říkali: Zdráv buď, králi Židovský. A bili jej hůlkami.
4 Then Pilate went out again, and said to them, “Behold, I bring him out to you, that you may know that I find no basis for a charge against him.”
I vyšel opět ven Pilát, a řekl jim: Aj, vyvedu jej vám ven, abyste poznali, žeť na něm žádné viny nenalézám.
5 Yeshua therefore came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple garment. Pilate said to them, “Behold, the man!”
Tedy vyšel Ježíš ven, nesa tu korunu trnovou, a ten plášť šarlatový. I řekl jim Pilát: Aj člověk.
6 When therefore the chief priests and the officers saw him, they shouted, saying, “Crucify! Crucify!” Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves and crucify him, for I find no basis for a charge against him.”
A jakž jej uzřeli přední kněží a služebníci, zkřikli, řkouce: Ukřižuj, ukřižuj ho. Dí jim Pilát: Vezměte vy jej a ukřižujte, nebo já na něm viny nenalézám.
7 The Judeans answered him, “We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.”
Odpověděli jemu Židé: My zákon máme, a podlé zákona našeho máť umříti, nebo Synem Božím se činil.
8 When therefore Pilate heard this saying, he was more afraid.
A když Pilát uslyšel tuto řeč, více se obával.
9 He entered into the Praetorium again, and said to Yeshua, “Where are you from?” But Yeshua gave him no answer.
I všel do radného domu zase, a řekl Ježíšovi: Odkud jsi ty? Ale Ježíš nedal jemu odpovědi.
10 Pilate therefore said to him, “Aren’t you speaking to me? Don’t you know that I have power to release you and have power to crucify you?”
Tedy řekl jemu Pilát: Nemluvíš se mnou? Nevíš-liž, že mám moc ukřižovati tě, a moc mám propustiti tebe?
11 Yeshua answered, “You would have no power at all against me, unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who delivered me to you has greater sin.”
Odpověděl Ježíš: Neměl bys nade mnou moci nižádné, byť nebylo dáno s hůry; protož kdo mne tobě vydal, většíť hřích má.
12 At this, Pilate was seeking to release him, but the Judeans cried out, saying, “If you release this man, you aren’t Caesar’s friend! Everyone who makes himself a king speaks against Caesar!”
Od té chvíle hledal Pilát propustiti ho. Ale Židé volali, řkouce: Propustíš-li tohoto, nejsi přítel císařův; každý, kdož se králem činí, protiví se císaři.
13 When Pilate therefore heard these words, he brought Yeshua out and sat down on the judgement seat at a place called “The Pavement”, but in Hebrew, “Gabbatha.”
Tedy Pilát uslyšev tu řeč, vyvedl ven Ježíše, a sedl na soudné stolici na místě, kteréž slove Litostrotos, a Židovsky Gabbata.
14 Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, at about the sixth hour. He said to the Judeans, “Behold, your King!”
A bylo v pátek před velikonocí, okolo šesté hodiny. I řekl Židům: Aj, král váš.
15 They cried out, “Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar!”
Oni pak zkřikli: Vezmi, vezmi, ukřižuj jej. Řekl jim Pilát: Krále vašeho ukřižuji? Odpověděli přední kněží: Nemámeť krále, než císaře.
16 So then he delivered him to them to be crucified. So they took Yeshua and led him away.
Tehdy vydal jim ho, aby byl ukřižován. I pojali Ježíše a vedli.
17 He went out, bearing his cross, to the place called “The Place of a Skull”, which is called in Hebrew, “Golgotha”,
A nesa kříž svůj, šel na místo, kteréž slove popravné, a Židovsky Golgota.
18 where they crucified him, and with him two others, on either side one, and Yeshua in the middle.
Kdež ukřižovali ho, a s ním jiné dva s obou stran, a v prostředku Ježíše.
19 Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. There was written, “YESHUA OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
Napsal pak i nápis Pilát, a vstavil na kříž. A bylo napsáno: Ježíš Nazaretský, král Židovský.
20 Therefore many of the Judeans read this title, for the place where Yeshua was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, and in Greek.
Ten pak nápis mnozí z Židů čtli; nebo blízko města bylo to místo, kdež ukřižován byl Ježíš. A bylo psáno Židovsky, Řecky a Latině.
21 The chief priests of the Judeans therefore said to Pilate, “Don’t write, ‘The King of the Jews,’ but, ‘he said, “I am King of the Jews.”’”
Tedy přední kněží Židovští řekli Pilátovi: Nepiš: Král Židovský, ale že on řekl: Král Židovský jsem.
22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”
Odpověděl Pilát: Co jsem psal, psal jsem.
23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Yeshua, took his garments and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
Žoldnéři pak, když Ježíše ukřižovali, vzali roucha jeho, (a učinili čtyři díly, každému rytíři díl, ) a sukni. Byla pak sukně nesšívaná, ale od vrchu všecka naskrze setkaná.
24 Then they said to one another, “Let’s not tear it, but cast lots for it to decide whose it will be,” that the Scripture might be fulfilled, which says, “They parted my garments amongst them. They cast lots for my clothing.” Therefore the soldiers did these things.
I řekli mezi sebou: Neroztrhujme jí, ale losujme o ni, čí bude. Aby se naplnilo písmo, řkoucí: Rozdělili sobě roucho mé, a o můj oděv metali los. Tedy žoldnéři tak učinili.
25 But standing by Yeshua’s cross were his mother, his mother’s sister, Miriam the wife of Klofah, and Miriam Magdalene.
Stály pak u kříže Ježíšova matka jeho a sestra matky jeho, Maria Kleofášova, a Maria Magdaléna.
26 Therefore when Yeshua saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!”
Tedy Ježíš uzřev matku, a učedlníka tu stojícího, kteréhož miloval, řekl matce své: Ženo, aj, syn tvůj.
27 Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour, the disciple took her to his own home.
Potom řekl učedlníkovi: Aj, matka tvá. A od té hodiny přijal ji učedlník ten k sobě.
28 After this, Yeshua, seeing that all things were now finished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I am thirsty!”
Potom věda Ježíš, že již všecko dokonáno jest, aby se naplnilo písmo, řekl: Žízním.
29 Now a vessel full of vinegar was set there; so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on hyssop, and held it at his mouth.
Byla pak tu postavena nádoba plná octa. Tedy oni naplnivše hubu octem, a obloživše yzopem, podali ústům jeho.
30 When Yeshua therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
A když okusil Ježíš octa, řekl: Dokonánoť jest. A nakloniv hlavy, ducha Otci poručil.
31 Therefore the Judeans, because it was the Preparation Day, so that the bodies wouldn’t remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a special one), asked of Pilate that their legs might be broken and that they might be taken away.
Židé pak, aby nezůstala na kříži těla na sobotu, poněvadž byl den připravování, (byl zajisté veliký ten den sobotní, ) prosili Piláta, aby zlámáni byli hnátové jejich, a byli složeni.
32 Therefore the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with him;
I přišli žoldnéři, a prvnímu zajisté zlámali hnáty, i druhému, kterýž ukřižován byl s ním.
33 but when they came to Yeshua and saw that he was already dead, they didn’t break his legs.
Ale k Ježíšovi přišedše, jakž uzřeli jej již mrtvého, nelámali hnátů jeho.
34 However, one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
Ale jeden z žoldnéřů bok jeho kopím otevřel, a hned vyšla krev a voda.
35 He who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, that you may believe.
A ten, kterýž viděl, svědectví vydal, a pravé jest svědectví jeho. Onť ví, že pravé věci praví, abyste vy věřili.
36 For these things happened that the Scripture might be fulfilled, “A bone of him will not be broken.”
Stalo se pak to, aby se naplnilo to písmo: Kost jeho nebude zlámána.
37 Again another Scripture says, “They will look on him whom they pierced.”
A opět jiné písmo dí: Uzříť, v koho jsou bodli.
38 After these things, Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Yeshua, but secretly for fear of the Judeans, asked of Pilate that he might take away Yeshua’s body. Pilate gave him permission. He came therefore and took away his body.
Potom pak prosil Piláta Jozef z Arimatie, (kterýž byl učedlník Ježíšův, ale tajný, pro strach Židovský, ) aby sňal tělo Ježíšovo. I dopustil Pilát. A on přišed, sňal tělo Ježíšovo.
39 Nicodemus, who at first came to Yeshua by night, also came bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred Roman pounds.
Přišel pak i Nikodém, (kterýž byl prvé přišel k Ježíšovi v noci, ) nesa smíšení mirry a aloes okolo sta liber.
40 So they took Yeshua’s body, and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as the custom of the Judeans is to bury.
Tedy vzali tělo Ježíšovo, a obvinuli je prostěradly s těmi vonnými věcmi, jakž obyčej jest Židům se pochovávati.
41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden. In the garden was a new tomb in which no man had ever yet been laid.
A byla na tom místě, kdež ukřižován byl, zahrada, a v zahradě hrob nový, v němž ještě žádný nebyl pochován.
42 Then, because of the Judeans’ Preparation Day (for the tomb was near at hand), they laid Yeshua there.
Protož tu pro den připravování Židovský, že blízko byl ten hrob, položili Ježíše.
