< Revelation 10 >

1 I saw a mighty angel coming down out of the sky, clothed with a cloud. A rainbow was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
Mó sì rí angẹli mìíràn alágbára ò ń ti ọ̀run sọ̀kalẹ̀ wá, a fi àwọsánmọ̀ wọ̀ ọ́ ni aṣọ; òṣùmàrè sì ń bẹ ní orí rẹ̀, ojú rẹ̀ sì dàbí oòrùn, àti ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ bí ọ̀wọ́n iná.
2 He had in his hand a little open book. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land.
Ó sì ní ìwé kékeré kan tí a ṣí ní ọwọ́ rẹ̀; ó sì fi ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ ọ̀tún lé Òkun, àti ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ òsì lé ilẹ̀.
3 He cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.
Ó sì ké lóhùn rara, bí ìgbà tí kìnnìún bá bú ramúramù. Nígbà tí ó sì ké, àwọn àrá méje náà fọhùn.
4 When the seven thunders sounded, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from the sky saying, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and don’t write them.”
Nígbà tí àwọn àrá méje fọhùn, mo múra àti kọ̀wé, mo sì gbọ́ ohùn láti ọ̀run wá ń wí fún pé, “Fi èdìdì di ohun tí àwọn àrá méje náà sọ, má sì ṣe kọ wọ́n sílẹ̀.”
5 The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the sky
Angẹli náà tí mo rí tí ó dúró lórí Òkun àti lórí ilẹ̀, sì gbé ọwọ́ rẹ̀ sí òkè ọ̀run.
6 and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay, (aiōn g165)
Ó sì fi ẹni tí ń bẹ láààyè láé àti láé búra, ẹni tí o dá ọ̀run, àti ohun tí ń bẹ nínú rẹ̀, ayé ohun tí ń bẹ nínú rẹ̀ pé, “Kí yóò si ìjáfara mọ́. (aiōn g165)
7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as he declared to his servants the prophets.
Ṣùgbọ́n ní ọjọ́ ohùn angẹli keje, nígbà tí yóò ba fún ìpè, nígbà náà ni ohun ìjìnlẹ̀ Ọlọ́run, gẹ́gẹ́ bí o tí sọ fún àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀, àwọn wòlíì ni a ó mú ṣẹ.”
8 The voice which I heard from heaven, again speaking with me, said, “Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.”
Ohùn náà tí mo gbọ́ láti ọ̀run tún ń ba mi sọ̀rọ̀, ó sì wí pé, “Lọ, gba ìwé tí o ṣí lọ́wọ́ angẹli tí o dúró lórí Òkun àti lórí ilẹ̀.”
9 I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”
Mo sì tọ angẹli náà lọ, mo sì wí fún pé, “Fún mi ní ìwé kékeré náà.” Ó sì wí fún mi pé, “Gbà kí o sì jẹ ẹ́ tan: yóò dàbí oyin.”
10 I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
Mo sì gba ìwé kékeré náà ni ọwọ́ angẹli náà mo sì jẹ ẹ́ tan; ó sì dùn lẹ́nu mi bí oyin; bí mo sì tí jẹ ẹ́ tan, inú mi korò.
11 They told me, “You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”
A sì wí fún mi pé, “Ìwọ ó sì tún sọ àsọtẹ́lẹ̀ nípa ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ènìyàn, àti orílẹ̀ àti èdè, àti àwọn ọba.”
