Revelation 3
1 And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, These things saith He that hath the seven spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead:
E ao anjo da igreja que está em Sardo escreve: Isto diz o que tem os sete espíritos de Deus, e as sete estrelas: Eu sei as tuas obras, que tens nome de que vives, e estás morto.
2 be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die; for I have not found thy works perfect in the sight of God.
Sê vigilante, e confirma o resto que estava para morrer; porque não achei as tuas obras perfeitas diante de Deus.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent: for if thou be not watchful, I will come upon thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know at what hour I will come upon thee.
Lembra-te pois do que tens recebido e ouvido, e guarda-o, e arrepende-te. E, se não velares, virei sobre ti como o ladrão, e não saberás a que hora sobre ti virei.
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis, which have not defiled their garments, and they shall walk with me in white; for they are worthy.
Mas também tens em Sardo algumas pessoas que não contaminaram seus vestidos, e comigo andarão em vestidos brancos; porquanto são dignos disso.
5 He that overcometh shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from the book of life; but I will own his name before my Father, and before his angels.
O que vencer será vestido de vestidos brancos, e em maneira nenhuma riscarei o seu nome do livro da vida; e confessarei o seu nome diante de meu Pai e diante dos seus anjos.
6 Let him, that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o espírito diz às igrejas.
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, These things saith the holy One, He that is true, He that hath the key of David, He that openeth and no one shutteth, and shutteth and no one openeth:
E ao anjo da igreja que está em Philadelphia escreve: Isto diz o que é santo, o que é verdadeiro o que tem a chave de David; o que abre, e ninguém cerra; e cerra, e ninguém abre:
8 I know thy works, and behold I have given thee an open door, and no one shall be able to shut it; for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Eu sei as tuas obras: eis que diante de ti pus uma porta aberta, e ninguém a pode cerrar: porque tens pouca força, e guardaste a minha palavra, e não negaste o meu nome.
9 Behold, I will give up those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but speak falsely; behold, I will make them come and bow before thy feet, and they shall know that I have loved thee.
Eis aqui dou, da sinagoga de Satanás, dos que se dizem judeus, e não são, mas mentem: eis que eu farei que venham, e adorem prostrados a teus pés, e saibam que eu te amo
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which is to come upon the whole world, to try those that dwell upon the earth.
Porque guardaste a palavra da minha paciência, também eu te guardarei da hora da tentação que há de vir sobre todo o mundo, para tentar os que habitam na terra.
11 Behold, I come quickly; hold fast what thou hast, that no one may take thy crown.
Eis que venho logo; guarda o que tens, para que ninguém tome a tua coroa.
12 Him, that overcometh, I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, (the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, ) and my own new name.
A quem vencer, eu o farei coluna no templo do meu Deus, e dele nunca sairá; e escreverei sobre ele o nome do meu Deus, e o nome da cidade do meu Deus, o da nova Jerusalém, que desce do céu do meu Deus, e o meu novo nome.
13 Let him, that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o espírito diz às igrejas.
14 And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot:
E ao anjo da igreja que está em Laodicea escreve: Isto diz o amém, a testemunha fiel e verdadeira, o princípio da criação de Deus:
15 I wish thou wert cold or hot.
Eu sei as tuas obras, que nem és frio nem quente: oxalá foras frio ou quente!
16 So then, because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will cast thee out of my mouth:
Assim, pois que és morno, e nem és frio nem quente, vomitar-te-ei da minha boca.
17 because thou sayst, I am rich, and wealthy, and have want of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
Porque dizes: Rico sou, e estou enriquecido, e de nada tenho falta; e não sabes que és um desgraçado, e miserável, e pobre, e cego, e nu
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayst be rich; and white raiment that thou mayst be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not appear: and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that thou mayst see.
Aconselho-te a que de mim compres ouro provado no fogo, para que te enriqueças; e vestidos brancos, para que te vistas, e não apareça a vergonha da tua nudez; e unge os teus olhos com colírio, para que vejas;
19 Whomsoever I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent.
Eu repreendo e castigo a todos quantos amo: sê pois zeloso, e arrepende-te.
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any one hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Eis que estou à porta, e bato: se alguém ouvir a minha voz, e abrir a porta, entrarei em sua casa, e com ele cearei, e ele comigo.
21 To him that overcometh I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I also have overcome, and am set down with my Father on his throne.
Ao que vencer lhe concederei que se assente comigo no meu trono; assim como eu venci, e me assentei com meu Pai no seu trono.
22 Let him, that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o espírito diz às igrejas.
