Ezekiel 21
1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
2 and he seide, Thou, sone of man, sette thi face to Jerusalem, and droppe thou to the seyntuaries, and profesie thou ayens the erthe of Israel.
Du Menschenkind, richte dein Angesicht wider Jerusalem und träufe wider die Heiligtümer und weissage wider das Land Israel
3 And thou schalt seie to the lond of Israel, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y to thee, and Y schal caste my swerd out of his schethe, and Y schal sle in thee a iust man and a wickid man.
und sprich zum Lande Israel: So spricht der HERR HERR: Siehe, ich will an dich; ich will mein Schwert aus der Scheide ziehen und will in dir ausrotten beide, Gerechte und Ungerechte.
4 Forsothe for that that Y haue slayn in thee a iust man and a wickid man, therfor my swerd schal go out of his schethe to ech man, fro the south til to the north;
Weil ich denn in dir beide, Gerechte und Ungerechte, ausrotte, so wird mein Schwert aus der Scheide fahren über alles Fleisch vom Mittage her bis gen Mitternacht.
5 that ech man wite, that Y the Lord haue drawe out my swerd fro his schethe, that schal not be clepid ayen.
Und soll alles Fleisch erfahrern, daß ich, der HERR, mein Schwert hab' aus seiner Scheide gezogen; und soll nicht wieder eingesteckt werden.
6 And thou, sone of man, weile in sorewe of leendis, and in bitternessis thou schalt weile bifore hem.
Und du, Menschenkind, sollst seufzen, bis dir die Lenden weh tun; ja, bitterlich sollst du seufzen, daß sie es sehen.
7 And whanne thei schulen seie to thee, Whi weilist thou? thou schalt seie, For hering, for it cometh; and ech herte shal faile, and alle hondis schulen be aclumsid, and ech spirit schal be sike, and watris schulen flete doun bi alle knees; lo! it cometh, and it shal be don, seith the Lord God.
Und wenn sie zu dir sagen werden: Warum seufzest du? sollst du sagen: Um des Geschreies willen, das da kommt, vor welchem alle Herzen verzagen und alle Hände sinken, aller Mut fallen, und alle Kniee wie Wasser gehen werden. Siehe, es kommt und wird geschehen, spricht der HERR HERR.
8 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
9 and he seide, Sone of man, profesie thou; and thou schalt seie, The Lord God seith these thingis, Speke thou, The swerd, the swerd is maad scharp, and is maad briyt;
Du Menschenkind, weissage und sprich: So spricht der HERR: Sprich: Das Schwert, ja, das Schwert ist geschärft und gefegt.
10 it is maad scharp to sle sacrifices; it is maad briyt, that it schyne. Thou that mouest the ceptre of my sone, hast kit doun ech tree.
Es ist geschärft, daß es schlachten soll; es ist gefegt, daß es blinken soll. O wie froh wollten wir sein, wenn er gleich alle Bäume zu Ruten machte über die bösen Kinder!
11 And Y yaf it to be forbischid, that it be holdun with hond; this swerd is maad scharp, and this is maad briyt, that it be in the hond of the sleere.
Aber er hat ein Schwert zu fegen gegeben, daß man es fassen soll; es ist geschärft und gefegt, daß man's dem Totschläger in die Hand gebe.
12 Sone of man, crie thou, and yelle, for this swerd is maad in my puple, this in alle the duykis of Israel; thei that fledden ben youun to swerd with my puple. Therfor smite thou on thin hipe, for it is preuyd;
Schreie und heule, du Menschenkind; denn es gehet über mein Volk und über alle Regenten in Israel, die zum Schwert samt meinem Volk versammelt sind. Darum schlage auf deine Lenden:
13 and this whanne it hath distried the ceptre, and it schal not be, seith the Lord God.
Denn er hat sie oft gezüchtiget; was hat's geholfen? Es will der bösen Kinder Rute nicht helfen, spricht der HERR HERR.
14 Therfor, sone of man, profesie thou, and smyte thou hond to hond, and the swerd be doublid, and the swerd of sleeris be treblid; this is the swerd of greet sleyng, that schal make hem astonyed,
Und du, Menschenkind, weissage und schlage deine Hände zusammen. Denn das Schwert wird zwiefach, ja dreifach kommen, ein Würgeschwert, ein Schwert großer Schlacht, das sie auch treffen wird in den Kammern, da sie hinfliehen.
15 and to faile in herte, and multiplieth fallingis. In alle the yatis of hem Y yaf disturbling of a swerd, scharp and maad briyt to schyne, gird to sleynge.
Ich will das Schwert lassen klingen, daß die Herzen verzagen und viele fallen sollen an allen ihren Toren. Ach, wie glänzet es und hauet daher zur Schlacht!
16 Be thou maad scharp, go thou to the riyt side, ether to the left side, whidur euer the desir of thi face is.
Und sprechen: Haue drein, beide, zur Rechten und Linken, was vor dir ist!
17 Certis and Y schal smyte with hond to hond, and Y schal fille myn indignacioun; Y the Lord spak.
Da will ich dann mit meinen Händen darob frohlocken und meinen Zorn gehen lassen. Ich, der HERR, hab es gesagt.
18 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
19 and he seide, And thou, sone of man, sette to thee twei weies, that the swerd of the king of Babiloyne come; bothe schulen go out of o lond, and bi the hond he schal take coniecting; he schal coniecte in the heed of the weie of the citee,
Du Menschenkind, mache zween Wege, durch welche kommen soll das Schwert des Königs zu Babel; sie sollen aber alle beide aus einem Lande gehen.
20 settinge a weye, that the swerd come to Rabath of the sones of Amon, and to Juda in to Jerusalem moost strong.
Und stelle ein Zeichen vorne an den Weg zur Stadt, dahin es weisen soll; und mache den Weg, daß das Schwert komme gen Rabbath der Kinder Ammon und nach Juda, zu der festen Stadt Jerusalem.
21 For the king of Babiloyne stood in the meeting of twey weies, in the heed of twei weies, and souyte dyuynyng, and medlide arowis; he axide idols, and took councel at entrails.
Denn der König zu Babel wird sich an die Wegscheide stellen, vorne an den zween Wegen, daß er ihm wahrsagen lasse, mit den Pfeilen um das Los schieße, seinen Abgott frage und schaue die Leber an.
22 Dyuynyng was maad to his riyt side on Jerusalem, that he sette engyns, that he opene mouth in sleyng, that he reise vois in yelling, that he sette engyns ayens the yatis, that he bere togidere erthe, that he bilde strengthinges.
Und die Wahrsagung wird auf die rechte Seite gen Jerusalem deuten, daß er solle Böcke hinanführen lassen und Löcher machen und mit großem Geschrei sie überfalle und morde, und daß er Böcke führen solle wider die Tore und da Wall schütte und Bollwerk baue.
23 And he shal be as counceling in veyn goddis answer bifor the iyen of hem, and seruynge the reste of sabatis; but he schal haue mynde on wickidnesse, to take.
Aber es wird sie solch Wahrsagen falsch dünken, er schwöre, wie teuer er will. Er aber wird denken an die Missetat, daß er sie gewinne.
24 Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that ye hadden mynde on youre wickidnesse, and schewiden youre trespassyngis, and youre synnes apperiden in alle youre thouytis, forsothe for that that ye hadden mynde, ye schulen be takun bi hond.
Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Darum daß euer gedacht wird um eurer Missetat und euer Ungehorsam offenbart ist, daß man eure Sünde siehet in all eurem Tun, ja darum daß euer gedacht wird, werdet ihr mit Gewalt gefangen werden.
25 But thou, cursid wickid duyk of Israel, whos dai bifor determyned is comun in the tyme of wickidnesse,
Und du, Fürst in Israel, der du verdammt und verurteilet bist, des Tag daherkommen wird, wenn die Missetat zum Ende kommen ist,
26 the Lord God seith these thingis, Do awei the mitre, take awei the coroun; whether it is not this that reiside the meke man, and made low the hiy man?
so spricht der HERR HERR: Tu weg den Hut und heb ab die Krone! Denn es wird weder der Hut noch die Krone bleiben, sondern der sich erhöhet hat, soll geniedriget werden, und der sich niedriget, soll erhöhet werden.
27 Wickidnesse, wickidnesse, wickidnesse Y schal putte it; and this schal not be doon til he come, whos the doom is, and Y schal bitake to hym.
Ich will die Krone zunichte, zunichte, zunichte machen, bis der komme, der sie haben soll; dem will ich sie geben.
28 And thou, sone of man, profesie, and seie, The Lord God seith these thingis to the sones of Amon, and to the schenschipe of hem; and thou schalt seie, A! thou swerd, A! thou swerd, drawun out to sle, maad briyte, that thou sle and schyne,
Und du, Menschenkind, weissage und sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR von den Kindern Ammon und von ihrer Schmach und sprich: Das Schwert, das Schwert ist gezückt, daß es schlachten soll; es ist gefegt, daß es würgen soll, und soll blinken,
29 whanne veyn thingis weren seien to thee, and leesingis weren dyuynyd, that thou schuldist be youun on the neckis of wickid men woundid, the dai of whiche bifore determyned schal come in the tyme of wickidnesse, turne thou ayen in to thi schethe,
darum daß du falsche Gesichte dir sagen lässest und Lügen weissagen, damit du auch übergeben werdest unter den erschlagenen Gottlosen, welchen ihr Tag kam, da die Missetat zum Ende kommen war.
30 in to the place in which thou were maad. Y schal deme thee in the lond of thi birthe,
Und ob es schon wieder in die Scheide gesteckt würde, so will ich dich doch richten an dem Ort, da du geschaffen, und im Lande, da du geboren bist.
31 and Y schal schede out myn indignacioun on thee; in the fier of my strong veniaunce Y schal blowe in thee, and Y schal yyue thee in to the hondis of vnwise men, and makinge deth.
Und will meinen Zorn über dich schütten, ich will das Feuer meines Grimms über dich aufblasen und will dich Leuten, die brennen und verderben können, überantworten.
32 Thou schalt be mete to fier, thi blood schal be in the middis of erthe; thou schalt be youun to foryetyng, for Y the Lord spak.
Du mußt dem Feuer zur Speise werden, und dein Blut muß im Lande vergossen werden; und man wird dein nicht mehr gedenken. Denn ich, der HERR, hab es geredet.
