1 Forsothe Abraham was eld, and of many daies, and the Lord hadde blessid hym in alle thingis.

2 And he seide to the eldere seruaunt of his hows, that was souereyn on alle thingis that he hadde, Put thou thin hond vndur myn hipe,
Abraham ate nemehere na esa, tao mataꞌ neu hata-heto nara. Lao esa, Abraham noꞌe e nae, “Rena malolole! Au oꞌe ho sumba mendiꞌ LAMATUALAIN nara na. Lamatualain mana tao lalai no raefafoꞌ a. Mae, ho afiꞌ haꞌi inaꞌ mia atahori Kanaꞌan ra, fo muꞌusasaoꞌ no ana ngga Isak.
3 that Y coniure thee bi the Lord God of heuene and of erthe, that thou take not a wijf to my sone of the douytris of Chanaan, among whiche Y dwelle;
4 but that thou go to my lond and kynrede, and therof take a wijf to my sone Ysaac.
Musi muu sia au nusa ngga, sia au bobꞌonggi nggara. Sangga ana fetoꞌ esa sia naa, fo taꞌasasaoꞌ no ana ngga.”
5 The seruaunt aunswerde, If the womman nyle come with me in to this lond, whether Y owe lede ayen thi sone to the place, fro which thou yedist out?
Basa de ate naa natane Abraham nae, “Malole, Amaꞌ! Te mete ma ana fetoꞌ a nda nau nema sa, naa taꞌo bee? Au musi o amaꞌ anan fo sao sia naa, do, taꞌo bee?”
6 Abraham seide, Be war, lest ony tyme thou lede ayen thidur my sone;
Abraham nataa nae, “Musunedꞌa malolole! Mae taꞌo bee o, afiꞌ mo ana ngga naa neu!
7 the Lord of heuene that took me fro the hows of my fadir, and fro the lond of my birthe, which spak to me, and swoor, and seide, Y schal yyue this lond to thi seed, he schal sende his aungel bifore thee, and thou schalt take fro thennus a wijf to my sone; forsothe if the womman nyle sue thee,
Musunedꞌa te LAMATUALAIN mana toꞌu koasa sia lalai no raefafoꞌ a, no au lao hela nusa ngga, de nendi au losa rae ia. Ana tao hehelu-fufuliꞌ no au nae, ‘Dei fo Au fee basa rae ia neu tititi-nonosi ma.’ Dadꞌi afiꞌ hia-bii! Muu neuꞌ ena. Dei fo Lamatualain denu ate Na mia sorga nema soi dalaꞌ fee nggo, fo mundaa mo ana fetoꞌ mana nae dadꞌi ana ngga sao na.
8 thou schalt not be holdun bi the ooth; netheles lede not ayen my sone thidur.
Te mete ma ana fetoꞌ naa nda nau tungga nema sa, naa susumbaꞌ ia nda dai nggo sa. Mae taꞌo bee o, afiꞌ mo ana ngga naa neu.”
9 Therfore the seruaunt puttide his hond vndur the hipe of Abraham, his lord, and swoor to him on this word.
Boe ma, ate a sumba no Abraham, nae eni tao tungga basa Abraham hihii-nanau na.
10 And he took ten camels of the floc of his lord, and yede forth, and bar with him of alle the goodis of his lord; and he yede forth, and cam to Mesopotanye, to the citee of Nachor.
Basa naa ma, ana here nala onta sanahulu, de no atahori nara fua sudꞌi a saa meulauꞌ ra reu banda onta ra ata. De lao risiꞌ Nahor kambo na sia Mesopotamia.
11 And whanne he hadde maad the camels to reste with out the citee, bisidis the pit of watir, in the euentid, in that tyme in which wymmen ben wont to go out to drawe watir,
Neu mateꞌe na, ate a losa kamboꞌ naa. Ana fee banda onta ra hahae deka oe mataꞌ esa, sia kamboꞌ a suu na. Leleꞌ naa bobꞌoꞌ ena, de ana fetoꞌ ra reu hando oe sia oe mataꞌ a.
12 he seide, Lord God of my lord Abraham, Y biseche, meete with me to dai, and do mersi with my lord Abraham.
Boe ma ate a hule-oꞌe nae, “LAMATUALAIN, malangga ngga Abraham Lamatua na. Tulun soi dalaꞌ, fo leleo-lalao ngga ia, hambu maloleꞌ. Mutudꞌu rala malole Ma neu malangga ngga, ma musunedꞌa hehelu-fufuli na neu au. Naa fo, undaa o ana fetoꞌ fo mana nae dadꞌi Isak sao na.
13 Lo! Y stonde nyy the welle of watir, and the douytris of enhabiters of this citee schulen go out to drawe watir;
Lamatualain, au umburiꞌ sia oe mataꞌ suu na ia. Ana fetoꞌ mia kamboꞌ ia ra rema hando oe sia ia.
14 therfor the damysel to which Y schal seie, Bowe doun thi watir pot that Y drynke, and schal answere, Drynke thou, but also Y schal yyue drynke to thi camels, thilke it is which thou hast maad redi to thi seruaunt Ysaac; and bi this Y schal vndirstonde that thou hast do mersi with my lord Abraham.
Dadꞌi au oꞌe taꞌo ia: Mete ma au olaꞌ o ana fetoꞌ esa ae, ‘Ana fetoꞌ e! Muꞌondaꞌ hura oe ma fo au inu mbei dei.’ Mete ma nataa nae, ‘Amaꞌ minu leo! Ma au o fee banda onta mara rinu boe.’ Naa, dadꞌi bukti, ana fetoꞌ naa Lamatualain dudꞌu basa dadꞌi Isak sao na! No taꞌo naa, au uhine, Lamatualain mutudꞌu malole ma neu malangga ngga Abraham ena.”
15 And he hadde not yit fillid the wordis with ynne hym silf, and lo! Rebecca, the douytir of Batuel, sone of Melcha, wijf of Nachor, brothir of Abraham, yede out, hauynge a watir pot in hir schuldre;
Ana nda feꞌe hule-oꞌe basa sa, te ana fetoꞌ esa naran, Ribka, nema. Eni, Abraham odꞌin Nahor no sao na Milka umbu na. Ribka ama na, naran Betuel. Ribka, meulau na seli, ma feꞌe nda nasalaꞌ no touꞌ ra sa. Ana onda oe mataꞌ neu, nadꞌai hura oe na, de hene baliꞌ.
16 a damysel ful comeli, and faireste virgyn, and vnknowun of man. Sotheli sche cam doun to the welle, and fillide the watir pot, and turnide ayen.
17 And the seruaunt mette hir, and seide, Yyue thou to me a litil of the watir of thi pot to drynke.
Ribka losa ataꞌ ma, Abraham ate na nelaꞌ neu. Ana noꞌe nae, “Ana fetoꞌ. Fee au inu mbei dei.”
18 Which answerde, Drynke thou, my lord. And anoon sche dide doun the watir pot on hir schuldre, and yaf drynk to hym.
Ana fetoꞌ a nataa nae, “Minu leo, toꞌo!” Ana naꞌondaꞌ hura oe na lai-lai, de fee ate a ninu.
19 And whanne he hadde drunke, sche addide, But also Y schal drawe watir to thi camelis, til alle drynken.
Ana ninu basa ma, ana fetoꞌ a nae, “Au hando oe fee toꞌo banda onta nara, fo rinu raꞌabeta boe.”
20 And sche helde out the watir pot in trouyis, and ran ayen to the pit, to drawe watir, and sche yaf watir drawun to alle the camels.
Ana oni oe sisaꞌ neu banda onta ra mamana nininu nara, ma nelaꞌ neu hando seluꞌ oe sia oe mataꞌ fo hani banda onta naa ra, losa raꞌabeta.
21 Sotheli he bihelde hir priueli, and wolde wite whether the Lord hadde sped his wei, ethir nay.
Abraham ate na nambariiꞌ hie-hie, mete namemeu ana fetoꞌ a tatao na. Ana dudꞌuꞌa nae, “Ana fetoꞌ ia, Lamatualain hii nalaꞌ a, do?”
22 Therfor after that the camels drunken, the man brouyte forth goldun eere ryngis, weiynge twei siclis, and as many bies of the arm, in the weiyte of ten siclis.

23 And he seide to hir, Whos douyter art thou? schewe thou to me, is ony place in the hows of thi fadir to dwelle?
Basa ma, ana natane nae, “Ana fetoꞌ e! Ho ama ma, nara na se? Mete ma nau, naa, au sungguꞌ sia ama ma ume na.”
24 Which answerde, Y am the douyter of Batuel, sone of Nachor, whom Melcha childide to him.
Ana fetoꞌ a nataa nae, “Ama ngga, naran Betuel. Baꞌi ngga, naran Nahor ma nene ngga, Milka.
25 And sche addide, seiynge, Also ful myche of prouendre and of hey is at vs, and a large place to dwelle.
Sia hai ume ma mamana susungguꞌ dai toꞌo se. Uru o naeꞌ fee toꞌo se banda nara boe.”
26 The man bowide hym silf,
Basa ma, ate a beꞌutee neu LAMATUALAIN,
27 and worschipide the Lord, and seide, Blessid be the Lord God of my lord Abraham, which God took not aweie his mersy and treuthe fro my lord, and ledde me bi riyt weie in to the hous of the brother of my lord.
de olaꞌ nae, “Koa-kio Lamatuaꞌ! Lamatuaꞌ soi dalaꞌ fee au ena, de undaa o malangga ngga Abraham bobꞌonggi nara sia ia. No taꞌo naa, Lamatuaꞌ mutudꞌu rala malole Ma neu malangga ngga Abraham, ma tao mutetu hehelu-fufuli na neu au.”
28 And so the damesel ran, and telde in the hous of hir modir alle thingis whiche sche hadde herd.
Basa ma, ana fetoꞌ a nela baliꞌ, de dui ume isi nara, basa saa fo mana dadꞌiꞌ a.
29 Sotheli Rebecca hadde a brothir, Laban bi name, whiche yede out hastili to the man, where he was with out forth.
Ribka naa na, naran Labꞌan. Leleꞌ ana nita bua mbilas ra ma rena Ribka dudꞌui na ma, ana nelaꞌ lai-lai, neu nandaa no ate mana rii-rii no banda onta nara deka oe mataꞌ a.
30 And whanne he hadde seyn the eere ryngis and byes of the arm in the hondis of his sister, and hadde herd alle the wordis of hir tellynge, the man spak to me these thingis, he cam to the man that stood bisidis the camels, and nyy the welle of watir,
31 and seide to him, Entre thou, the blessid of the Lord; whi stondist thou with outforth? I haue maad redi the hows, and a place to thi camels.
Labꞌan olaꞌ no e nae, “Toꞌo! Lamatualain no toꞌo losa ia no masodꞌaꞌ ena. Dadꞌi afiꞌ mumburiꞌ siaꞌ a deaꞌ! Uma tisiꞌ hai ume ma. Hai sadꞌia kama ena, ma nanaat fee toꞌo se banda onta nara o, naeꞌ boe.”
32 And he brouyte hym in to the ynne, and unsadlide the camels, and yaf prouendre, and hey, and watir to waische the feet of camels, and of men that camen with hym.
Basa boe ma, Abraham ate na tungga Labꞌan, de risiꞌ Betuel ume na. Labꞌan se tulun se raꞌondaꞌ sudꞌiꞌ a saa ra mia banda onta ra. Ara fee banda onta ra uru, ma rendi oe fee ate a no atahori nara safe ei nara.
33 And breed was set forth in his siyt, which seide, Y schal not ete til Y speke my wordis. He answerde to the man, Speke thou.
Ara tao nanaat neu mei ma, ate a nae, “Hita tae taa, te au ae ufadꞌe duduꞌat esa dei.” Labꞌan nataa nae, “Olaꞌ leo, toꞌo.”
34 And the man seide, Y am the seruaunt of Abraham,
Ma ate a nae, “Au ia, hei baꞌi ma Abraham ate na.
35 and the Lord hath blessid my lord greetli, and he is maad greet; and God yaf to hym scheep, and oxun, siluer, and gold, seruauntis, and handmaides, camels, and assis.
LAMATUALAIN fee papala-babꞌanggiꞌ naeꞌ neu malangga ngga, de namasuꞌi seli. Lamatualain fee lilo mbilas, lilo fulaꞌ, ate touꞌ-inaꞌ, ma banda naeꞌ. Naeni: sapi, banda onta, keledai, ma hiek-lombo.
36 And Sare, `the wijf of my lord, childide a sone to my lord in his eelde, and he yaf alle thingis that he hadde to that sone.
Au malangga ngga touꞌ-inaꞌ ramalasi, dei de mama Sara bꞌonggi fee malangga ngga ana touꞌ esa. Dei fo, ana mana hambu basa Abraham hata-heto nara.
37 And my lord chargide me greetli, and seide, Thou schalt not take to my sone a wijf of the douytris of Canaan, in whos lond Y dwelle,
Lao esa, malangga ngga denu au sumba oi, ‘Ho afiꞌ haꞌi ana feto Kanaꞌan, fo muꞌusasaoꞌ no ana mone ngga Isak.
38 but thou schalt go to the hous of my fadir, and of myn kynrede thou schalt take a wijf to my sone.
Te ho musi haꞌi ana fetoꞌ mia bobꞌonggi nggara, dadꞌi eni sao naꞌ.’
39 Forsothe Y answerde to my lord, What if the womman nyle come with me?
Boe ma au utane malangga ngga ae, ‘Te mete ma ana fetoꞌ a nda nau tungga au sa naa, taꞌo bee?’
40 He seide, The Lord in whose siyt Y go, schal sende his aungel with thee, and he schal dresse thi weie; and thou schalt take a wijf to my sone of my kynrede, and of my fadris hows.
Ana nataa nae, ‘LAMATUALAIN fo au tungga hihii Na, dei fo denu ate Na mia sorga nema soi dalaꞌ fee nggo, fo hambu ana fetoꞌ mia au bobꞌonggi nggara, fo dadꞌi ana ngga sao na.
41 Thou schalt be innocent fro my curs, whanne thou comest to my kynesmen, and thei yyuen not `the womman to thee.
Te mete ma bobꞌonggi nggara nda simbo sa, ma nda nau mboiꞌ ana fetoꞌ a nema sia ia sa, naa, susumbaꞌ naa nda dai nggo sa.’
42 Therfor Y cam to day to the welle of watir, and Y seide, Lord God of my lord Abraham, if thou hast dressid my weie in which Y go now, lo!
Dadꞌi losa oe mataꞌ a ma, au hule-oꞌe sia rala ngga ae, ‘LAMATUALAIN, malangga ngga Abraham Lamatua na. Tulun soi dalaꞌ, fo leleo-lalao ngga ia, hambu maloleꞌ. Naa fo, au undaa o ana fetoꞌ fo mana nae dadꞌi Isak sao na.
43 Y stonde bisidis the welle of watir, and the maide that schal go out to drawe watir herith me, yyue thou to me a litil of water to drynke of thi pot,
Lamatualain, au umburiiꞌ sia oe mataꞌ ia suu na. Ana fetoꞌ mia kamboꞌ ia ra rema hando oe sia ia. Dadꞌi au oꞌe taꞌo ia: Mete ma au olaꞌ o ana fetoꞌ esa ae, ‘Ana fetoꞌ e! Muꞌondaꞌ hura oe ma fo au inu mbei dei.’
44 and seith to me, And thou drynke, and Y schal drawe watir to thi camels, thilke is the womman which the Lord hath maad redi to the sone of my lord.
Mete ma ana nataa nae, ‘Amaꞌ minu leo! Ma au o fee banda mara rinu boe.’ Naa, dadꞌi bukti, ana fetoꞌ naa Lamatualain dudꞌu basa dadꞌi Isak sao na!
45 While Y turnede in thouyte these thingis with me, Rebecca apperide, comynge with a pot which sche bare in the schuldre; and sche yede doun to the welle, and drowe watir. And Y seide to hir, Yyue thou a litil to me to drynke; and sche hastide,
Au nda feꞌe hule-oꞌe basa sa, te Ribka nema nendi hura oe na, de hando oe sia oe mataꞌ a. Ana hene ata neu ma, au oꞌe ae, ‘Ana fetoꞌ e. Fee au inu mbei dei.’
46 and dide doun the pot of the schuldre, and seide to me, And thou drynke, and Y schal yyue drynke to thi camels; Y drank, and watride the camels.
Boe ma ana naꞌondaꞌ hura oe na, de nae, ‘Toꞌo e, minu leo! Au o hani toꞌo banda nara boe.’ De au inu ma banda onta ra o rinu boe.
47 And Y axide hir, and seide, Whos douytir art thou? Which answerde, Y am the douytir of Batuel, sone of Nachor, whom Melcha childide to him. And so Y hangide eere ryngis to ourne hir face, and Y puttide bies of the arm in hir hondis,
Basa ma, utane e ae, ‘Ama ma, naran seka?’ Nataa nae, ‘Ama ngga, naran Betuel. Baꞌi ngga, Nahor ma nene ngga, Milka.’ Boe ma au fee ne ndeli a ma kale ra.
48 and lowliche Y worschipide the Lord, and Y blessid the Lord God of my lord Abraham, which God ledde me bi riyt weie, that Y schulde take the douytir of the brothir of my lord to his sone.
Boe ma, au beꞌutee neu Lamatualain ae, ‘Koa-kio Lamatualain! Lamatualain soi dalaꞌ fee au, de undaa o malangga Abraham bobꞌonggi nara sia ia. Ma au o undaa o mana nae dadꞌi malangga soruꞌ a sao na boe.’
49 Wherfor if ye don mercy and treuthe with `my lord, schewe ye to me; ellis if othir thing plesith, also seie ye this, that Y go to the riyt side ethir to the left side.
De ia naa, mete ma amaꞌ se mae mitudꞌu susueꞌ neu malangga ngga Abraham, naa, mifadꞌe au relo-relo. Mete ma hokoꞌ o, mifadꞌe relo-relo boe. Naa fo au bubꞌuluꞌ musi tao saa.”
50 Laban and Batuel answeriden, The word is gon out of the Lord; we moun not speke ony other thing with thee without his plesaunce.
Ate a olaꞌ basa ma, Labꞌan no Betuel rataa rae, “Mete ma LAMATUALAIN tao nala taꞌo naa, naa, hai mae saa fai.
51 Lo! Rebecca is bifore thee; take thou hir, and go forth, and be sche wijf of the sone of thi lord, as the Lord spak.
Ribka sia ia, de mo e naa neu leo fo dadꞌi baꞌi Abraham ana feto feu na, tungga saa fo LAMATUALAIN ator nalaꞌ a ena.”
52 And whanne the child of Abraham hadde herd this, he felde doun, and worschipide the Lord in erthe.
Ate a rena nala ma, ana beꞌutee losa rae, fo noꞌe makasi neu LAMATUALAIN.
53 And whanne vessels of siluer, and of gold, and clothis weren brouyt forth, he yaf tho to Rebecca for yifte, and he yaf yiftis to hir britheren, and modir.
Basa ma, ana haꞌi lilo mbilas ma lilo fulaꞌ, ma bua-baꞌu meulauꞌ fo fee neu Ribka. Ana o fee sudꞌi a saa mafelit neu Ribka naa na no ina na boe.
54 And whanne a feeste was maad, thei eeten and drunken to gider, and dwelliden there. Forsothe the child roos eerli, and spak, Delyuere ye me, that Y go to my lord.
Boe ma no atahori nara, endoꞌ raa fefetas. Basa de, ara sungguꞌ sia naa. Mbila fefetu na, ara fela ma, ana nafadꞌe tenu umeꞌ a nae, “Au oꞌe fo, nau naa, hai mae baliꞌ leo misiꞌ malangga ngga.”
55 Hir britheren and modir answerden, The damesele dwelle nameli ten daies at vs, and aftirward sche schal go forth.
Te Ribka naa na no ina na rae, “Hei halai baliꞌ tao saa? Hela Ribka nahani no hai fai sanahulu dei ma. Basaꞌ fo, mo e neu.”
56 The child seide, Nyle ye holde me, for the Lord hath dressid my weie; delyuere ye me, that I go to my lord.
Te nataa nae, “Aduu! Afiꞌ ai au! LAMATUALAIN tulun au ena, de au undaa o mana nae dadꞌi malangga soru ngga sao na. De inaꞌ se mboꞌi hai, fo baliꞌ mii mifadꞌe malangga dei.”
57 And thei seiden, Clepe we the damysele, and axe we hir wille.
Ara rataa rae, “Taꞌo ia! Ima fo tataneꞌ a Ribka, eni hihii na, taꞌo bee?”
58 And whanne sche was clepid, and cam, thei axiden, Wolt thou go with this man?
Boe ma ara roꞌe Ribka, de ratane rae, “Ribka! Ia siaꞌ a nggo. Mae tungga memaꞌ mo atahori ia ra leo, do taꞌo bee?” Ana nataa nae, “Au nau.”
59 And sche seide, Y schal go. Therfor they delyueriden hir, and hir nurse, and the seruaunt of Abraham, and hise felowis, and wischiden prosperitees to her sister,
Boe ma, ara mboꞌi Ribka, no ate inan mana mete-seꞌu e eniꞌ a aꞌanan, fo reu ro Abraham ate nara. Ara olaꞌ fee Ribka papala-babꞌanggiꞌ rae, “Ribka! Hai hule-huleꞌ fo Lamatualain fee nggo bꞌonggi mumuhefu, fo tititi-nonosi mara dadꞌi rifo-rataꞌ. Ma hai o hule-huleꞌ fo tititi-nonosi mara rasenggiꞌ musu nara!”
60 and seiden, Thou art oure sister, encreesse thou in to a thousand thousandis, and thi seed gete the yatis of hise enemyes.
61 Therfor Rebecca and hir damesels stieden on the camels, and sueden the man, which turnede ayen hasteli to his lord.
Basa naa ma, Ribka no ate ina nara raꞌalilinuꞌ bua-baꞌu nara, de sae banda onta, fo lao ro Abraham ate nara.
62 In that tyme Ysaac walkide bi the weie that ledith to the pit, whos name is of hym that lyueth and seeth; for he dwellide in the south lond.

63 And he yede out to thenke in the feeld, for the dai was `bowid thanne; and whanne he hadde reisid the iyen, he seiy camels comynge afer.
Bꞌobꞌobꞌoꞌ esa, ana dea neu lao-laoꞌ haiꞌ anin. Ana botiꞌ mata na ma, nita banda onta ra rema.
64 And whanne Ysaac was seyn, Rebecca liyte doun of the camel,
Ribka nita Isak ma, ana onda lai-lai mia banda onta na.
65 and seide to the child, Who is that man that cometh bi the feeld in to the metyng of vs? And the child seide to hir, He is my lord. And sche took soone a mentil, and hilide hir.
Natane Abraham ate na nae, “Toꞌo! Touꞌ mana laoꞌ nema naa, seka?” Ate a nataa nae, “Naeni au malangga soru ngga.” Boe ma Ribka haꞌi nala salenda na, de babata mata na.
66 Forsothe the seruaunt tolde to his lord Ysaac alle thingis whiche he hadde do;
Ara losa ma, ate a nafadꞌe basaꞌ e neu Isak.
67 which Ysaac ledde hir in to the tabernacle of Sare, his modir, and took hir to wijf; and so myche he louede hir, that he temperide the sorewe which bifelde of the deeth of the modir.
Boe ma Isak no Ribka risiꞌ inan lalaat na rala, de ruꞌa se esa sao esa. Isak sue Ribka, naa de, ana nda afiꞌ susa ina na mamaten sa ena.
